We were extremely dissapointed in our experience with B & T Transportation! Tina states on her profile that, "I will be in constant contact/pictures to let you know where we are and how your pets are doing." Well that did NOT happen. As a matter of fact, the only way we found out our dog was picked up was because WE initiated contact via text. We found out she had ALREADY picked up our new puppy when I asked for an update. We received ZERO pictures and we even asked for them. Next, we had absolutely no idea that she was picking up other animals... we ONLY found that out when we asked multiple times for updates about our puppy. You would think that it would be common courtesy to let us know that there were other stops during the trip. Juat as an FYI so we would know and maybe not worry as much. However, since we disnt know, that gave us severe anxiety as we NEVER heard anything, we were very worried, and we would have to wait for her to respond to find out ANYTHING. Additionally, we NEVER got 1 SINGLE picture AT ALL for the ENTIRE trip and not 1 update for almost the entire trip. The FIRST time she initiated contact was when she was about 2 hours out and sent a few interval updates as the night progressed. Her profile even states, "I am on point with giving updates through messages and pictures. My communication skills are amazing." Well, NONE of that was even remotely true. We are just glad that our puppy made it here and was ok.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this transporter based on my experience. These are rescue dogs who have been in our care for more than six months. They had already been through a lot after being abandoned and spending time on the streets, and they were finally traveling to Miami to begin their lives with their new adoptive families. Before the booking, I clearly explained that one dog is friendly and playful and the other is more timid (and can become nervous in unfamiliar situations). She was aware of this from the beginning, accepted the booking, communicated with me beforehand, and ultimately traveled to the pickup location. I also want to be fair and acknowledge that the person preparing the dogs may have made a mistake by not having both dogs completely ready before the transporter arrived. There were several things happening at the same time, and it is possible that the situation became stressful or that the person preparing the dogs also became nervous. I can understand that. However, I do not believe that this justifies the way the situation was handled afterward. When she arrived, the dogs became nervous while they were putting their harnesses on. The process took approximately 15 minutes. There was no biting or aggressive incident. Despite this, she appeared very rushed and upset and decided to leave. She later stated that she does not transport dogs that bite, even though neither dog bit or displayed the behavior she described, they are big, yes , aggressive no! What is especially disappointing is that she did not properly communicate to the person who was preparing the dogs before leaving. Instead, she left shortly afterward and canceled the transportation, sending me a message. When I later tried to calmly clarify what had happened, her communication was not kind or understanding, and she firmly refused to reconsider or refund the $600 deposit, despite the transportation never taking place. I understand that she traveled to the pickup location and spent time and money on gas. I would have understood a reasonable charge for those expenses. However, keeping the entire $600 for a service that was never provided does not seem fair. I also believe that transporting animals requires patience, dedication, understanding, and genuine care, especially when working with rescue dogs who have already experienced difficult circumstances. In my opinion, this type of work requires more than simply appearing friendly with animals in photos on a business page. When you choose to transport animals, patience and compassion should be part of the job, particularly when a dog becomes nervous during a stressful transition. She is free to explain the situation from her perspective and say whatever she believes supports her side. However, the security camera and the photos and evidence we have tell a different story and speak for themselves. As additional evidence, today one of the dogs actually the more timid one is traveling to Miami with another transporter. He is traveling calmly and comfortably, without even being in a crate, which further demonstrates that the behavior described during this experience was not representative of his normal temperament. These dogs have been waiting for more than six months for the opportunity to leave their difficult past behind and reach their new families. It was extremely disappointing to see the transportation end this way, especially when no aggressive incident actually occurred. Based on this experience, I would not use this transporter and cannot recommend her for pet transportation.

Kat did an incredible job transporting our 7 yr old very sensitive/reactive Formosan Mountain Dog, Nini. Usually Nini takes a good while to trust anyone new, but Kat won her over quickly. And they were best friends after the long ride across the country. Kat is skilled with animals, and loves them as well. She has a good heart and is an amazingly fantastic driver.
