I am a "PRIVATE Transporter" so please understand that there's a big difference between I and a delivery service...I also DO NOT contract drivers from Craigslist to transport your babies! I ALWAYS & ONLY transport to one family at a time...I don't stack multiple animals going to multiple addresses therefore the trips I bid on... I'd have your babies to you with 24 to 48 hrs. 🐾 Not only is it my promise that your babies will feel comfortable and loved while with me...it's also my promise that YOU'LL feel comfortable and relieved while your babies are in my care❣️ ➡️Donna's Five Star Private Pet Transportation is an ESTABLISHED business. •Puppy care specialist - less than 16 wks or no proof of parvo series vax = no ground touch! •Feline friend - disposable litter boxes and new scratcher posts/toys provided! •BLS FirstAid/CPR/AED certified Professional CDL driver with 23+yrs experience on the road in the transportation industry. I have been a private transporter for over 8yrs as of Feb 2025, I provide door-to-door transport for your furry family members, and/or household goods that need that extra care. I offer prompt delivery with an average of 800-1100 miles driven per day with my driver partner Juan. (We are both USDA certified) I also ensure that you are kept as informed as you choose to be with live GPS tracking, updates/photos at pickup and/or delivery, as well as multiple pictures and videos throughout our trip! I am a pet parent too, and understand the stress of trusting another person with your beloved companion. I use safety crates for dogs and cats or alternatively I will use pet safety seat belts attached to two sides of a harness for XL breed bench seat riders. I have and will provide travel crates of all sizes in line with USDA regulations that are anchored inside my vehicle. Crates are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after every transport. Car travel can sometimes be rough on our furry friends, and we all need to stretch our legs. You can expect your pup to be exercised 20-30 minutes per stop (weather and pet temperament depending) with stops every 3-4 hrs during the day or more on an as needed basis. We also visit at least one pup park per day for off-leash run/play time! I'm also available for local (within 3hrs of the Puget Sound area) pet meet-ups prior to departure to ensure a comfortable match with you and your pet. Puppy transport - puppies under 16wks of age are not put on the ground at any time! We use disposable puppy pads and sanitize often to keep little ones safe and healthy! Our "no ground touch" policy keeps puppies away from parvo and other life threatening illnesses. Once hired you will be provided with my contact information. If I have not picked up your pet(s) yet AND the delay is too significant for you to be able to wait or to reschedule, and I have to cancel due to the situation, I will give you a refund of your deposit/partial payment. If you have to cancel for any reason and your cancellation is more than 48 hours prior to the agreed-upon pick-up date, a refund will be issued. However, if you have to cancel for any reason, and it is 48 hours or less prior to the agreed-upon pick-up date, a refund will not be issued. Our biohazard ☣️ control program is top notch, which is above and beyond simply sanitizing. 🧼 Because visually cleaning a surface is great,🚩 but we make sure that we’re killing any viruses or microorganisms 🦠 by disinfecting our kennels after every single pet, every single time. We know it makes a difference when it’s your loved one, and we always go the extra mile to keep any pet in our care as safe and comfortable as we’d keep our own. Which for us includes using top end, proven impact rated kennels to ensure your pets safety no matter what happens while traveling. Their safety is paramount. ❤️ We are also large Doberman parents as well, and adore transporting other people’s too, so larger furkids do NOT bother us in the slightest, not only are we able to cater to larger breed dogs, we love ❤️ them, and have plenty of space to ensure they’re comfortable while traveling. HEADS UP! Citizen Shipper does charge a "finders fee" for providing their service, which is ON TOP of our bid price. This fee is applied when you confirm a bid and book with someone. We don't want you to be caught off guard when you go to book. Also, some shippers fees to book are higher due to their cancellations, so be careful who you book with as it COULD result in a higher booking fee. Double check what you have selected at check out to avoid paying for extra “add ons.” We do require 50% upon bidding to confirm and schedule your pickup and the remainder is due upon PICKUP of your pet. We had to change our policy due to payment delays. Cancellations with notice prior to 24 hrs of pickup we’re happy to refund 50% of the remaining balance to cover our costs and rerouting. We do try to work with minor schedule changes, as we understand that things can happen unexpectedly and will do our absolute best to accommodate people when we can, even if you need later arrangements. 😊 We do ask that people be flexible on pickup and delivery by a couple of days to allow for traffic, weather, exercise/potty breaks etc. if it’s not a private, solo transport. Traveling coast to coast is a little more technical, and we cannot control variables like traffic, weather or construction. Private transports are guaranteed dates/times and booked at a higher rate to compensate for that. We use invoices for payment and also accept Credit Cards,💳 💵 and Afterpay. (So payments if you need) We require just a simple non refundable deposit to confirm you on the route and guarantee pickup. We only bill via invoices. We require animals to be sent with a collar, leash, any relevant vet records (health certificate/UTD vaccine record) and food for during their travel. (Small ziplocks, or a couple large ones work great for this! No food bins) Do they have a favorite toy or comfort item? You’re welcome to send it with us! We want them to be as comfortable as possible. We like to know when they last ate so that we can accommodate them at their same feeding times. 🍱 We do ask that you limit their collective items to a small backpack size travel bag or similar unless other arrangements are discussed prior. Please be honest about the size of your pets so that we can prepare & to avoid any additional fees. We always transport animals in their own, individual private kennels for their safety and protection and to limit as many environmental variables as possible. Same household pets receive that same courtesy unless specifically requested otherwise. 😊 (personal private space is something we all can appreciate right?) Puppies without all of their vaccines are puppy pads only, which eliminates the risk of them being exposed to other contaminants along the way. We always prioritize small ones travel so they get to their new homes as quickly, and as stress free as possible. As breeders ourselves, we understand the responsibility when it comes to choosing someone to transport your new animal. How fragile they truly are, and what to look for while traveling to avoid any issues and the necessity for new puppies to spend as little time in transport as possible. ❤️ We go the extra mile to make sure they get there as quickly as possible and without any issue. We’re not a huge company, which means extra care, consideration and ❤️personalization goes into every single transport we do. We truly believe that quality care is more important than quantity, and will make every effort to get your pet to you in the least amount of time, in the least stressful way, for you and THEM and ensure you a great experience with us. If there are pictures on a transporters profile of animals being hauled loosely in a back/front seat, RUN 🏃♀️! This is not only unsafe for your pets, it’s also completely against the law. This also guarantees these company’s are not covered by any pet insurance policies as it isn’t a covered practice. (Accidents/injury from other pets/escaping) It is so common to hear stories this year about pets being “lost” by transporters, and it is because of these types of negligent practices. Also, back seats, beds, cloth and blankets CANNOT properly be sanitized, so there is no way to eliminate viruses or follow proper biohazard control between animals. (Since posting this detail in our profile many transporters have now changed theirs to match, please ask HOW they sanitize, as this this extremely important) Be informed, and just because they’re the cheapest, does not mean that your pet will be safe. When it’s your pets safety at stake, we believe IT MATTERS. ❤️ Another dead giveaway is very new profiles bidding transports extremely low, or much less than other companies, phrases used like “USDA licensed” (as they do not license anyone) and transport companies claiming to be “licensed veterinary technicians.” (This is a separate individual license that is regulated in each state, and cannot practice in other states where they are not also carrying a license- additionally that license is easily looked up online by the public and only under direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian) And my personal favorite- “501(c)3 organizations” claiming to also be transportation companies- while the claim sounds wonderful, it’s absolutely 100% false, on principle by law, organizations that hold 501(c)(3) status must not serve any private interests, and their earnings must be used for charitable purposes ONLY. In addition, all assets have to be permanently dedicated to a charitable purpose. Does transporting animals for hire sound charitable? So it’s a lovely story, but a story, and nothing more. These are just a few of the scams that we want people to be on the lookout for, and things they can use to identify less than reputable practices. And as always, check references on other platforms for presence elsewhere too! Real, honest, reliable operations always have a presence. ❤️ Please be careful out there folks! And most importantly, ask questions and make sure you’re talking to a real person. 💯❤️ Many companies use autobid features and simply subcontract your transport out to another company for a lower rate. We’re always happy to answer any questions you have, any time! Please let us know your departure date/time and your expected arrival date/time if you are on both the shipping and receiving ends so that we can try to accommodate the pickup/delivery times accordingly. We strongly encourage pet parents to make accommodations when necessary at the other end for the pets arrival as we do not wish to board any pets any longer than necessary after transportation to their destination. (They also really want to not just be bored and not doing anything exciting either) Please make alternative arrangements if your travel plans are delayed, extended, or taking the scenic route. While we do try to be understanding of individual or emergency circumstances, please understand that we cannot “hang out” with your pet for additional hours/days in the delivery area while you visit friends/relatives etc. Additionally these delays affect other people, and animals on our current, and future routes and we ask you to please be thoughtful of them too. Additional days/late fees will be charged at a rate of $50, plus lodging expenses if necessary. Our bid does not reflect tax.

Felony Prosecutor Turned Dog Rescuer Amidst the pandemic I, like many people, found myself without a job and stuck in pandemic lock down for months on end. After months of stillness and uncertainty, I had enough of sitting around waiting for something to happen. Having purchased my first National Parks pass the week pandemic lock downs began, I was eager to get my money’s worth from my newly acquired pass. As many national parks and forest began reopening and having been confined to my house and limited walks around the neighborhood for three months, I thought a few nights in the woods and under the stars would do me some good. In June of 2020 I set out for the Buffalo National River where I would spend five days and nights along the river banks, reacquainting myself with nature. As the weekend approached, I spoke with friends back home to see if there were any mentions of pandemic restrictions easing. The news from home was not positive, and I had a decision to make. In 9 hours, I could be back home, back to comforts and familiarity, back to my old life, back to the mundane. In 10 hours, I could be in the Colorado Rockies, into the unknown, into the wild, complete uncertainty, but endless possibilities for adventure. I chose the latter and the rest is history. For the next three months I would travel over 20,000 miles through some of the most beautiful and isolated parts of this country. Every day spent completely out of my comfort zone, every day a new life lesson, a summer of wonder, and the rarity of feeling truly alive. Prior to the pandemic I was already well aware that my heart was no longer in practicing law. Every day spent doing it was day spent doing something I did not like doing, something writer and orator Alan Watts referred to as “STUPID!”. No longer wishing to be “stupid” I set out in search of a career unburdened by the mundane. I wanted a life of adventure, filled joy, and feeling alive. I knew the exhilaration of traveling the country and yearned for the possibility to continue my journey. As luck would have it, I stumbled upon CitizenShipper. Not expecting much from it, perhaps a trip once in a while to tide over my yearning for adventure until a new calling revealed itself, I was astonished that there was enough work to make it my full-time gig. Today I have completed over 200,000 miles of successful pet transports all over the country, and I’m eager to travel hundreds of thousands more miles. Every day I get to do this job, every time I successful deliver a happy pet to a happy owner, bring my endless joy I never found in any other work in my nearly 30 years of employment.
