Wow! Is all I can really say to sum up everything. It's been a journey. Booked a week ago as an emergency because of a change in the moving details so we had to find transport fast. I never dealt with transport for myself, only doing it for some horses for other people in the past so I was very nervous and almost hectic in things. My three kittens are my babies and was having a very hard time mentally on letting them go without me knowing it would be a week and a half until I can have my cuddles again. But I had to press on, so I contacted miss Kerry and spoke with her. She was very patient and understanding with me which I appreciated. Scheduling was a bit of a mess but that was outside her control, sometimes people just can't finalize until last minute and that throws everything off, not her fault. But we stuck to the time frame and we checked in with miss Kerry. Then hurricane Helene happened and I can tell that both of us were biting our nails over that since it happened during our agreed time frame. Kerry was scheduled to go all the way to Arizona while I just needed to get the babies to Florida. So logistics were discussed and a new time frame set. Again not something she had any control over. Communication was then passed onto a rather new team of hers, I was connected with Miss Kim and her husband who was taking two other babies to Florida Monday morning from the Illinois area. Miss Kim, I can't say enough good things about her and her husband. Timing was great. My husband and I both are military and I had to leave for work no later than 630 in the morning. She arrived at around 615 due to hitting that pesky chicago traffic, but that was out of her control. She was super nice and respectful as we loaded the babies up and the box of kitty things into her car. We collaborated the time to get them down to my husband and she even got there early. Sent me updates when I checked in and even called me the night before drop off. The kittens got home safe and sound and not traumatized at all other than being in the carrier for 20 hours. Good communication, fair pricing, patient and kind. Definitely go with this one.
