Communication is the key. Pegas does a decent job of keeping the customer in the loop and adapting to changes. I changed the schedule a couple of times. The Georgian (country) driver was a nice guy and well-intentioned but struggled to find the exact word. Never-the-less, the price covered a lot of minor sins and I'd use them again. Overall- a good job that I would have paid 2x to 3x at another shipper!

5 million/5 recommend - I had a previous negative experience with a citizenshipper that was extremely rude on phone and text without me being rude at all (cfriendlypettransport is the name - she was not friendly at all to me at least despite the good reviews ! She rescheduled my pick up date 2 times; 1 time without communication. Mind you I booked 2-3 months in advance. Very condescending, would lie and was aggressive. Did not refund me yet despite not being anywhere near my pick up area as she needed almost another week without communicating that to me first.. I cancelled - and of course got a rude response - and rebooked with JP. She saved the day! She lived close to the pick up area, gave me a discounted price since her later route was near my drop off, and was literally able to get my baby home to NYC in one day! she was kind, excellent communication, not rude at all, and handled my baby with care. A stark contrast from what I knew before hand. I am absolutely thrilled and satisfied with this citizenshipper. If I had to rebook I would choose her again. I saw her the 1st time around and I should've chose her instead of the other citizenshipper. Thank you JP!

We are so incredibly thankful for Jayne & Shayne and the care they showed our boy, Charlie, during his trip with them across the country. Moving from San Francisco to Chicago is stressful for everyone- including pets- and they both showed Charlie so much love during his drive and boarding on the way here. Our rescued Charlie is terrified of fireworks and thunder, and they were great about helping him with his medicine and giving extra cuddles and walks. I hired Tessah to take one of my cats to a breeder and bring 3 back to me. She picked up my cat and dropped it off the first part of the week with no problems. Then the second half of the week she was going to bring my 3 cats to me at 3:30 am (I had a flight to catch). I made a mistake and didn't pay the breeder the small remaining balance before going to bed. I had just learned of an unexpected death of a close family member and was very shaken up and fell asleep too early. They ended up having to wait about an hour (I was asleep until my alarm rang at 3:00), which was totally my fault. My complaint is just the way she handled it. I was already really panicking, the breeder was angry at me, and Tessah left me a rude voicemail angrily saying I was wasting her time. Then she was cold with me for the rest of the transaction and didn't answer when I apologized profusivley. She charged an additional 25%, which was totally fine with me, I just wish she hadn't been so rude about it. I was all ready to leave a 5-star review before that.

Marcie’s team transported my guinea pigs cross country and I am so thankful I found her on here! She made me feel extremely comfortable and gave tons of written and video updates all along her journey. She always replies very quickly and is a great communicator. Kevin drove our sweet boxer Mika from Lax airport to the Canadian border. It was an amazing adventure for our dog and us. We came to a relocation in Vancouver BC. After 15 hours of flying, we preferred to send our dog in ground transportation. We couldn't ask for a better service and attitude. Kevin was extra patient with all our needs and concerns. He is a real animal lover, and unlike some animal lovers also great with people. He sent us lots of pictures from the trip. I needed use a private driver than using USPS, UPS, or FedEx, because the shipment was relatively small but heavy and easily damaged. It was also travelling a short distance, and I didn’t want to pay a lot. Other bids were much higher, orders or magnitude higher. Maybe some folks focus on much larger jobs. Steve quoted me a very reasonable price. I imagine that since he has a smaller company, he has more flexibility and less overhead than larger companies. He was conscientious and communicated regularly throughout the entire process. He made sure to clarify everything ahead of time, including item details, timing, payment, and pickup and drop-off addresses, names and phone numbers of everyone involved. He sent many pictures during pickup to show the condition of the item and also showed it in place within the vehicle. He was in touch with me several times during the drive. The pickup person had scheduling constraints and issues with communication, so we needed to change plans during the delivery. The dropoff location is a complex of several large buildings where a security guard outside usually accepts deliveries. However, Steve insisted on delivering personally to the recipient, so he went to the building lobby with the security guard so he could verify that the person received the delivery. Overall, I was impressed with Steve’s work. He’s personable and thorough and cares about taking care of the customer. I highly recommend him.

Collin is the real deal. He transported our two beloved dogs and two cats close to 2800 miles and delivered on every promise to give them breaks, keep their meals schedule, sending multiple photos each day of all four pets and keeping his geotracker active the whole trip, which was very reassuring. His communications were awesome! Collin made this the best experience it could be for both our pets and us! If you need someone you can trust with your pets, Collin’s the man.

This would be no stars but site requires at least one. Do NOT use this driver!! I have used Citizen Shipper twice in the past and both times had great experience with drivers, pick up and drop off times and communication through out the trip. This driver, Ginger, was very nice to begin with but as soon as I sent her the required half payment for the trip almost all communication stopped! She refused to answer any calls after she received the money stating she was out of cell service via text. I would immediately try and call her as soon as I got the text as clearly she did have service and get no answer. I was very understanding when she said she was at a repair garage to get a flat fixed. Clearly she had service at the garage but still would not give any clear eta's or answer the phone. All 5 eta's over five days she did give never happened! This lady is a scam artist and I hope Citizen Shipper does the right thing and remove her from their site. If I could rate a million stars I would! I was so nervous to book especially for such a long trip that goes through Canada but Tammy and Annie took amazing care of my babies through the whole 7 day trip. I never had to reach out for an update because she would send pics and messages every time they stopped. Amazing communication and she is very knowledgeable and made sure everything was in order before she picked them up. I would recommend them for any transport but especially for military families while pscing. I cannot say thank you enough!!

Regina was beyond fantastic. I was so nervous about sending my cats across the country with a stranger, but there just wasn't another option. Regina was willing to work out a price that worked for both of us and was so communicative. She sent me so many updates of my babies and loved them like they were her own. I can tell she really enjoyed having them which warms my heart. My cats can be a little spicy but they were sweethearts to her, which speaks volumes.
