We weren't able to take our guinea pigs on the plane with us for our big move to Virginia so we had to find a pet transportation service to get them there. Eidika K-9 did a fantastic job with transporting my dear animal companion. I was able to track his location, I saw that my dog was comfortable in the car crate, I got to meet his dog, his rate was extremely fair, he was early with both pickup and dropoff. My only qualm and the reason for 4/5 stars rather than 5/5 stars was not knowing his day job prior to his arrival. Typically this would not matter for me so I did not even think to ask, but he arrived in a vehicle and with attire that reflect his career and were a bit of a surprise to me. The vehicle was his own, to be clear and I won't state his professional for his privacy, so I know this is vague. But I do feel like that should have been disclosed upfront given both the vehicle and attire. As an aside (and this does not affect the rating), Citizen Shipper does not tell you the fee until you go to book. I know that it varies by job but I think potential clients of any of the shippers should know that the fee was not small at all.

I’m someone who meticulously reads reviews before making any decision, and all of Leann’s reviews were absolutely stellar. Leann was incredibly easy to communicate with and patiently answered all of my questions before I proceeded with the booking. Her responsiveness and transparency really put my mind at ease. Our dog Reagan, a 10-year-old black lab, needed to be transported from the East Coast. Given her age and a bit of arthritis, we were particularly concerned about her comfort and care during the journey. We didn’t want her to be crated, and she needed a little extra attention. Leann provided exactly that—truly a VIP service. Reagan traveled comfortably without a crate, and Leann gave her lots of love and care throughout the trip. She shared her location and sent several pictures along the way, which was very reassuring. It was clear that Leann genuinely cares about her pet passengers. When she reached the destination, we could tell that Reagan had formed a special bond with her and seemed quite sad to see her go. We are immensely thankful to Leann for safely bringing Reagan home to us. My husband, a Marine, was unable to house her for the past few years, so it was heartwarming to finally see him reunited with Reagan. Leann made this possible, and we are forever grateful. I depended on Friendly Pet Express to pick up our dogs and drive them across the country and our family had airfare booked to do the same. We texted one another a couple times a day leading up to the scheduled pick up. We sent our dogs vaccine information, pics, etc…. The driver was supposed to pick up our dogs between 5-7 pm and was to call when she was 1 hour away. I started texting at 5pm. I started leaving VM’s at 6:30 pm. At the 11th hour, the driver turned off communication and never showed up! At 9:30 pm, my distraut wife took me to enterprise to rent a car and do it ourselves. Last minute arrangement: Cancelled the flight, rented a car, booked hotels, and lost three days driving across the country. The driver was a scam. It was not easy to get a refund. I had to submit multiple forms and screen shots of the communication. Citizen shipper kept trying to give me a credit instead of a refund (as if moving from California to NC is going to ever happen again; as if I would ever take this risk again!) If you’re looking to take a big risk, this is the driver for you. If you’re looking for reliability, find someone else.
