I am a retired teacher, dog mom, traveler, and driver. Along with my husband, sons, daughter, and my mom, our family provides transport services as Walter Pet Transport (WPT). WPT specializes in cross-country, long distance transports. We prefer to do private transport and rarely travel with multiple pets. Our focus is creating the least stressful ride for pets. We strive to provide safe and calm travels for the animals traveling with us. We strive for on-time pick ups and deliveries. Please understand that road conditions, weather events, or other situations that are out of our control may cause delays. WPT always works hard to deliver pets safely and on time but, flexibility with pick up and drop off times is necessary. Often, on long distance transports, we will use rental vehicles, including vans, large SUVs, and midsize SUVs. Most rented vehicles are 2024 and 2025 models. WPT is a family owned business. Our drivers consist of our family and a couple of well trusted, retired teachers. We have years of safe driving and have logged over 1,000,000 miles on the roads and in the air. We pick up/deliver your animals with care and respect. Sometimes we drive as a team. Sometimes we do solo transports with only a driver as the transporter. My sons call themselves the “puppy mannies” when they are a part of the transport team. We specialize in VIPuppy transports and only rarely combine multiple transports from different breeders or homes at one time. Our price reflects dedication to transporting your pet in a quality manner with as little travel stress as possible on pets. We make sure that animals are well cared for, exercised, and carefully fed throughout the journey. Rest breaks are always in clean areas. Puppies four months and younger are never on the ground. We sanitize and clean carriers consistently during transports. We make sure the ride is as comfortable as possible. Vehicles are spotless. We stay in touch during transport (unless we are in a cell phone dead zone). We always share our location via GPS, Send texts or messages every 3 to 4 hours, send pictures and videos from time to time, and will call and talk if you need us. The bottom line is that we are honest and careful. We are pet lovers. We know pets. Please consider us for your animal transport. We greatly appreciate the time you are taking to read our profile and learn about our transport services. If you decide to book WPT, you agreed to the terms and conditions listed on this profile. From the WPT team: Allison, Rod, Gloria, Naomi, Kai, and Charlie Transaction Guidelines: -We take cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, Zelle, and Cash App. -Regretfully, no personal checks are accepted. -50% non-refundable retainer is due on the day of booking, no exceptions. This retainer holds your date. Without a retainer, a date is not secured. WPT will not pick up pets without this retainer. -USDA approved certification number 42-T-0036: - We require that puppies are clean, healthy, and have any travel/vaccination documents. -Vaccinations must be up to date. --We transport in an efficient manner. Please have a person ready to receive your pet when we arrive as there are other transports waiting in que. -If no one is available at the drop off location, there is a $30.00 per hour service charge for wait time for that day of arrival or $500 per day waiting fee. -Per USDA regulations, we only transport puppies who have been vet checked and cleared for travel. We want to keep the pups safe and healthy. -If place, time and/or date of pick up and delivery is changed after a retainer is made, there is a $100 to $500 change fee(depending on the difficulty in logistics changes). Every transport job is a part of a bigger logistics route. If a client wants a different location, date, and/or pick up or drop off, other clients are inconvenienced and a fee is charged. -Our price is separate from CitizenShipper's fee. Citizenship charges a separate booking fee, and this is independent of WPT's Fee. Our fee is inclusive with no extra hidden charges. -Arrival times are estimates and are subject to change due to weather, traffic, road work, human rest breaks, and pet rest breaks. -We do not participate in financial transactions between breeders and buyers nor do we help facilitate cash transactions. We only pick up, transport, and deliver. -Final payment is always due immediately upon delivery. -Please don't ask WPT to cancel our transport on the Citizenshipper forum. If customers change their minds about purchasing a pet transport, cancellation is a buyer's responsibility. Once our services are secured and a bid is accepted, we have committed to you. Retainers are non-refundable because we design pickups and deliveries based on logistics. Please, only book our services if you are 100% sure that you need us. Retainers remain due and will not be refunded if we are booked and you decide to cancel. -Gratuities/Tips are appreciated and accepted. Our drivers go above and beyond basic transportation services. Recognizing their hard work and attention to details is a kind gesture.

Allison was just exceptional! Outstanding communication throughout the trip. She was super flexible to pick up Theo (2 years old Cavapoo) at 3:30am to accommodate our early morning flight.
