We understand that your pets are more than just animals — they’re beloved family members. That’s why every transport we offer is handled with the same level of care, attention, and respect we would want for our own furry companions. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of building lifelong friendships and bonds with many of our clients — particularly our cherished snowbird customers who rely on us year after year as they travel seasonally between homes. These lasting relationships are at the core of what makes this work so meaningful to us. We offer direct door-to-door transport services with several flexible options tailored to your needs: Exclusive Solo Rides – One family, one ride. This premium option offers the highest level of attention and privacy. Semi-Private Rides – Typically includes one other pet traveling in a similar direction within a 4-8 hour proximity. It’s a popular, cost-effective alternative to solo transport, though slightly more flexible on scheduling. Shared Rides – Involve 2–3 animals traveling region to region with several drop-offs. These also require some date flexibility to coordinate effectively. All pricing is based on a simple, flat per-mile rate. This allows us to stay competitive and continue doing what we love sustainably. While we wish we could offer our services for free (because, honestly, most of us would!), your payment supports the high level of service and care we consistently deliver. We typically stay in pet-friendly hotels during longer routes. This allows our drivers to rest properly — ensuring alert, safe travel — and gives your pets the chance to unwind in a comfortable, secure environment. All lodging and travel expenses are included in your up-front quote. No hidden fees, ever. We treat every transport as unique. If our bid seems reasonable, we kindly ask for a chance to speak with you about your specific needs — including your travel dates, number of animals, special requests, and any accommodations your pets may require. With team members strategically located across the country, we’re often able to optimize routes and offer discounted rates when schedules and destinations align. For example, if we’re in Arizona and need to return to Ohio or Pennsylvania, we may be able to pass those savings on to you depending on your flexibility. What you can expect from us: No payment is required upfront — full payment is due upon safe delivery. Highly experienced drivers, many with CDLs and Hazmat certifications, and professional driving backgrounds. Real-time location tracking throughout the journey. Photo and break updates every 2–4 hours to keep you informed and reassured. Backup drivers and contingency plans in place for unexpected events (vehicle issues, wildlife encounters, etc.). No hidden costs — the price we agree on is the price you pay. Cats must travel in owner-provided crates and are only allowed out inside hotel rooms. Dogs can be crated upon request. We had a great experience with Mike and Dawn. We have a very nervous dog and we were very nervous about getting him across the country for our move. Our experience with Mike, the owner of Dependable Driver Solutions, and James and Karen, the drivers, could not have been better. They all took excellent care of our very nervous and scared rescue and made sure she was as comfortable as could be during her long journey. They provided numerous updates and pictures along the way and kept us appraised of their arrival time. We are so thankful for the care they provided to our girl.

I had the most positive experience with Michael, Karen and James, who transported my 5 month old puppy from New York to California. I was nervous about leaving my puppy’s welfare in the hands of others for a few days while he was in transit but the team reassured me before and during the journey. They were very responsive and transparent. I would definitely recommend them and perhaps use them for a return journey as well.

James and Karen were great . They took great care of my fur baby, Blue. He has never traveled before and his first trip was from the east coast to the west coast. They update me along the way with picture and videos. They treated Blue like family and made sure he felt safe and comfortable. They delivered him safe, healthy and happy. I can’t say enough of about how pleased I am with their service.
