About

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! We are a Midwest-based company proudly operating out of Ohio and Chicago, Illinois, and we've been a fully registered and legitimate business since 2021. Since day one, we've built our reputation on honesty, integrity, compassion, and transparency, and we bring those values into every aspect of what we do. At the heart of our work is a deep love for animals and a strong commitment to providing families with the peace of mind and confidence they deserve when entrusting their pets to someone else. We understand that your pets are more than just animals — they’re beloved family members. That’s why every transport we offer is handled with the same level of care, attention, and respect we would want for our own furry companions. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of building lifelong friendships and bonds with many of our clients — particularly our cherished snowbird customers who rely on us year after year as they travel seasonally between homes. These lasting relationships are at the core of what makes this work so meaningful to us. We offer direct door-to-door transport services with several flexible options tailored to your needs: Exclusive Solo Rides – One family, one ride. This premium option offers the highest level of attention and privacy. Semi-Private Rides – Typically includes one other pet traveling in a similar direction within a 4-8 hour proximity. It’s a popular, cost-effective alternative to solo transport, though slightly more flexible on scheduling. Shared Rides – Involve 2–3 animals traveling region to region with several drop-offs. These also require some date flexibility to coordinate effectively. All pricing is based on a simple, flat per-mile rate. This allows us to stay competitive and continue doing what we love sustainably. While we wish we could offer our services for free (because, honestly, most of us would!), your payment supports the high level of service and care we consistently deliver. We typically stay in pet-friendly hotels during longer routes. This allows our drivers to rest properly — ensuring alert, safe travel — and gives your pets the chance to unwind in a comfortable, secure environment. All lodging and travel expenses are included in your up-front quote. No hidden fees, ever. We treat every transport as unique. If our bid seems reasonable, we kindly ask for a chance to speak with you about your specific needs — including your travel dates, number of animals, special requests, and any accommodations your pets may require. With team members strategically located across the country, we’re often able to optimize routes and offer discounted rates when schedules and destinations align. For example, if we’re in Arizona and need to return to Ohio or Pennsylvania, we may be able to pass those savings on to you depending on your flexibility. What you can expect from us: No payment is required upfront — full payment is due upon safe delivery. Highly experienced drivers, many with CDLs and Hazmat certifications, and professional driving backgrounds. Real-time location tracking throughout the journey. Photo and break updates every 2–4 hours to keep you informed and reassured. Backup drivers and contingency plans in place for unexpected events (vehicle issues, wildlife encounters, etc.). No hidden costs — the price we agree on is the price you pay. Cats must travel in owner-provided crates and are only allowed out inside hotel rooms. Dogs can be crated upon request. At Dependable, our name is our promise. We're honored to be trusted with your pet's journey and take that responsibility to heart every single time. Warm regards, Michael Utesch Owner, Dependable Driver Solutions LLC

This is an amazing company. The owner is very accommodating and his driver Dawn was an absolute gem. They really went above and beyond to bring my 8 week old puppy around 18 hours safely and compassionately. I highly recommend them.

It could not have been an easier process. The driver was very conscientious in giving multiple updates throughout the day long drive. My cats arrived safely and were very relaxed. I will definitely use again if the need arises.

I was getting a retired English Springer Spaniel breeding female dog transported to me after she had her last litter. I was so nervous for Jodie as she was going to a home she didn't know. Dependable Driver Solutions LLC was the company I chose and it's a decision I will never regret. They treated Jodie and myself like fine china with tenderness and care. Michael, the owner, made all of this possible with amazing reassurance. Dawn, the driver, was in constant contact with calls, texts, videos, and pictures. She got Jodie here the next day and she was never in a crate. Thank you will never be enough. I couldn't recommend a company anymore than Dependable Driver Solutions LLC. They treated me, and my very happy 3 year old dog, Jodie like family.

Words cannot express how amazing our transporter was. My wife's company has relocated us from Chicagoland to Southwest Florida on top of my wife's SUV being considered a total loss from a trucking accident, so us driving our only dog son, Patches, was no longer an option. The fear of flying him with us was also not an option and by the Grace of God we came across Dependable Driver Solutions, LLC via Google. The process was seemless, informed and I felt an honest love for all animals during our phone consult. The day Patches was picked up eased our minds every more since our driver was just an overall wonderful person who even offered to take some extra luggage for us, thus saving us a few extra hours of baggage checking at the Airport. He arrived perfectly on time at our new home happy as a clam and almost didn't want to leave the transporter ;-) I'm giving a 20 out of 10 review and we will be repeat customers during the holidays and/or special events back in Chicago. Steven, Samantha and Mr. Patches
