When it came to transporting a cat from one state to another, the team succeeded. Our rescued cat arrived safely and within the same week of posting on citizen shipper. For that, we are extremely happy and grateful! We also received several pictures of our cat en route, which an overprotective pet parent like me appreciates. When it came to communication, preparation, flight information and timelines – there is room for improvement. Most of our questions were left hanging or only given vague answers, when I would have appreciated concrete response (Again, because of my anxious and overprotective nature). At the end of the day, our cat arrived safe. This is what matters the most!

Great pet transport experience! Cynthia was responsive, answered questions and offered flexibility. She notified me the night before she was all set for pickup so I was not worried, sent us photos throughout the trip and gave an accurate eta on when to expect arrival. She had a large vehicle for our dog which we appreciated. Our dog had some anxiety issues and instead of a crate she tried a large suv trunk divider. Our dog was still restless so she was able to have her in the backseat with a seatbelt leash. I think she slept comfortably most of the ride! I was nervous as this was our first pet transport and it’s hard to leave your pet with someone you don’t know but I would not hesitate to use True Hart Transport again and recommend them to others!

I was extremely nervous having a stranger drive my cats across the country, but I knew I couldn’t do it myself. Darrell answered all my questions and made me comfortable from the beginning. He was patient at pick up when it took 30 minutes to get one of my terrified cats into the carrier and he came back when I realized I had forgotten to give him the extra food the cats would need at our new home. We had previously arrange a ride for our puppy through another company and the pickup window came and went with no communication or updates and they would not respond to emails or calls. Arrived 1 say later than scheduled, poor communication about the late arrival. Poor communication about EVA'S and route. Sent 2 apps that did not provide any information about route. Had to request video and pics of my pup. Made insensitive and rude comments during the difficult journey. Got lost during delivery to the new owner and arrived 6 hours late, after the new owner drove to the highway when DJ told him he was 15 mins away. Day of delivery the new owner requested a reduction due to late arrival and DJ lied to owner, saying he had to drive further. Original quote was for 2025 miles but actual delivery address was under 2000 miles from pick up location. He told new owner that trip should have been more $$, even though the reason he drove further was due to his own error and piss poor planning. I am thankful the pup arrived safely.

Sorry for the late response on this, I was going to give this woman a tip. She was poor in communication. I have pictures of that. she wouldn’t answer any of my calls. She was asking for the money before she even dropped my dog off. My dog was filled with pee and feces and he was terrified. She sent me minimum pictures. She said that she was going to set up an email to where I would be able to contact her and see where they were and she did not do that at all. I did not know exactly when she would be here. She just said when I’m close I’ll let you know so there was no way for me to make accommodation so that I would be able to be home when I receive my pet. I do believe that my dog was in horrible manner. His fur was matted he reeked of urine and he had poop stuck to his fur, so that means she was not taking him out as much, and all she said was that he cries a lot, and she had a gentleman with her who also displayed minimum concern for my baby. I told her about the instructions because my dog was not fully vaccinated and I had to message her multiple times to get an “ok” and she did not follow any of that. She literally gave me bare minimum communication with everything. She never called me on video or on the phone never answered my calls, just text I’m very upset and because of this I no longer want to work with this company because I cannot trust if I get a pet in the future, they will not get the same and this is why you didn’t get a tip!!! She loaded the pups (for a small woman she is amazingly strong,) waited for us to gather last minute items necessary for their arrival at their new home... took their beds and blankets and headed off for the long journey to Atlanta. She sent me updates on their progress even though it was the middle of the night. She arrived right on time for the delivery... everybody was happy including the pups who I think mostly skipped the scenery in favor of more napping!
