About Me: An Animal Lover with a Personal Touch My name is Trevor Lord, and I’m the proud owner of Novacraft Pet Transport LLC. The journey that led me to create this business is deeply personal, shaped by profound loss, love, and a desire to honor the memory of those who meant the most to me. In February 2023, my mom passed away from pancreatic cancer. She had an unwavering love for dogs and animals, and our home was always filled with the presence of various pets, including mutts and English Bulldogs. Her passing left a hole in my heart, but it also reminded me of the joy and comfort animals bring into our lives. After my mom’s passing, my dad began driving more often, telling me that he felt a deep connection to my mom when he was on the road. He longed to take a road trip across the country, feeling that the open road would help him stay connected to her. Unfortunately, this journey never came to be, as my dad passed away just five months later, in July 2023. In the midst of this immense loss, I found solace in a new companion — Nova, my emotional support dog. Nova helped bring joy back into my life when it felt as though the light had dimmed. She gave me the comfort and companionship I needed during a very difficult time, and it was through this bond that the idea for Novacraft Pet Transport was born. The road trips I shared with Nova were not just about traveling from place to place; they became a way to heal, to remember my parents, and to feel connected to them in a way that words couldn’t express. That connection to the road, to animals, and to the memories of my parents is what drives me to offer this service. Novacraft Pet Transport is my way of honoring their memory by providing pets with the care, comfort, and companionship they deserve during their journey, just as Nova did for me. Our Vehicle Setup: Safe, Comfortable, and Pet-Friendly Novacraft is proud to offer the 2025 Toyota RAV4 as our primary vehicle for pet transport. This spacious, reliable SUV is equipped with all the features necessary to ensure a comfortable journey for every pet we transport. Our RAV4 is equipped with security monitoring, and I’ll share the location with you throughout the journey, so you always know where your pet is. This added transparency ensures peace of mind for pet owners, knowing that their pets are traveling safely at all times. We take regular bathroom breaks every 2-3 hours, and I offer optional stops at dog-friendly locations like national parks along the route — your choice. Along with plenty of breaks, I provide portable bowls for food and water to keep your pet hydrated and happy. If your pet has any specific preferences, I can also stop at a nearby Petco or PetSmart to pick up their favorite treats. Safety and Comfort: What Sets Us Apart We believe that pet transportation should not just be about getting from point A to point B. It’s about the overall experience. That’s why I go the extra mile to ensure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved during the entire trip. When a trip takes more than one day of travel, we stay at pet-friendly hotels, such as ALoft by Marriott, to ensure your pet gets a restful night before continuing their journey. These accommodations are known for being super dog-friendly, ensuring both you and your pet are comfortable along the way. We offer a meet-and-greet with you and your pet before the journey begins, ensuring that we understand their specific needs and preferences. Whether you have a dog, cat, or other animals, we’ll transport them with the same level of care. Apple Pay: A quick and secure mobile payment method. I prefer to be paid 25% at pickup as a good faith deposit, with the remaining 75% due upon drop-off to ensure a smooth and secure transaction. A Personal Touch to Professional Service I have a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Roosevelt University, and I spent 5 years as a Data Specialist at JP Morgan Chase while living in Chicago, IL. My background in business and logistics has equipped me with the skills to run a smooth and efficient operation, but my true passion lies in caring for animals and making their journeys as comfortable as possible. Home base is in Glastonbury, Connecticut, but I’m about to hit the road full-time, traveling wherever the next customer’s pet needs to go. Trevor (and his dog Nova) are fantastic. I am absolutely recommending Novacraft to all my friends. We are so excited to have our dog with us for the holidays in the Midwest and we saved money by having Trevor bring her there! She was happy along the way and we got consistent updates from Trevor. Rest experience ! Trevor planned the trip and sent me an itinerary in advance. There was no crate and he rode in his car with his dog Nova. There were daily hikes and I was sent videos numerous times a day It was obvious he loved dogs and my lab always looked happy. I would definitely recommend Novacraft.

This was my first time using pet transport, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! Trevor was incredibly understanding and informative. I had so many questions before I even booked him, and all were answered kindly and thoroughly...without him even knowing if I was going to book him! Needless to say, I gladly paid his very reasonable rate, and the communication and obvious care for both my concerns, and the well being of my new puppy continued all the way through the delivery! He was amazing! With GPS tracking, and constant updates with photos and videos, I experienced my little pups adventure to his forever home! Could not be happier i chose Trevor and Novacraft for this experience!

Trevor picked up Hurricane on Tuesday and delivered her to Alabama on Saturday. He sent us a daily itinerary and checked in with us with daily videos. Trevor’s dog Nova was great and gentle companion. We would highly recommend Novacraft to anyone.

I’m a dog breeder and have used this sight multiple times and this has been my best experience! He is very accommodating, extremely responsive, keeps you updated the whole time, and sends lots of videos so you can watch your dog along the way. His dog Nova is super sweet and in my experience made my puppies feel better on the long car ride knowing they were not alone. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

We used Novacraft to bring our rescue home from Nebraska to Chicago. Novacare was SO gracious in making sure that both Grant (puppy) and our family felt comfortable for the trip. Novacare identified what Grant needed and went out of their way, to a Pet Smart, to make sure all of Grant's needs were taken care of - we did not ask for this, Novacare just offered. The communication was beyond amazing and we could not have asked for a better trip for our new puppy. We will be using Novacare again for some upcoming travel needs in the near future!

Trevor was absolutely amazing!!! Our dog, Frank, a shar pei mix, was picked up in Batavia, IL and had a wonderful trip to San Francisco! Trevor's dog, Nova, made the trip with Frank and the two dogs became furry friends immediately:) Trevor exceeded our expectations, his communication with us was incredible. We knew their exact location at all times and we received many texts, photos, and videos throughout each day. Trevor stopped every 2-3 hours to let the dogs stretch and get some fresh air! He planned the trip (the route, stops and pet friendly hotels) with great care! Our dog, Frank, was in such good hands! Frank can get kindof anxious in certain situations and Trevor knew just how to calm him. We feel very fortunate that we found Trevor, his personal attention to detail and all the attention he gave Frank was something we'll never forget. I would highly recommend him!!! He was the best!!!

I booked with Novacraft to transport my dog, Grizzly, from Connecticut to Colorado by car. At first, I was a little worried that a long trip with a stranger might be stressful for him, but after talking with Trevor on the phone, I felt confident that Grizzly would be in good hands. Trevor even took the time to introduce himself to Grizzly the day before pickup, which really helped put my mother at ease. Throughout the journey, Trevor kept us updated with pictures and videos, and it was clear that Grizzly was having a great time! He seemed to enjoy the adventure—especially having Trevor’s dog, Nova, as a travel buddy. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
