Skoot was created with a simple mission: to make long-distance pet travel easier. We provide a safe, reliable, and affordable way to transport pets between major cities throughout California, Oregon, and Washington. Our Transport Options 🚐 Skoot offers two ways to travel. Please review both options carefully so you can choose the service that works best for you and your pet. 1️⃣ Standard Transport Our most affordable option operates like a comfortable, professionally managed shuttle service for pets. Pickup and drop-off take place at convenient, predesignated meeting locations along our scheduled West Coast routes. This helps keep transportation efficient and affordable while still providing attentive care throughout the journey. Standard Transport is especially helpful for breeders, rescues, adopters, relocating families, and pet parents who can meet our team along the route. 2️⃣ Premium Transport Our most convenient option provides pickup directly from your pet’s starting address and delivery to their final destination. Premium Transport is ideal for customers who prefer door-to-door service or have a pet with additional logistical, medical, mobility, or behavioral considerations. Exact pickup and drop-off addresses are required to provide an accurate quote. Why Choose Skoot? 💙 🔹 Two-Person Transport Team: Skoot’s long-distance journeys are completed by a two-person team. While one team member drives, the other can monitor the pets, provide care, communicate with clients, and help manage the journey safely. 🔹 Direct, Efficient Travel: Your pet remains in Skoot’s care throughout the journey. We do not transfer pets between unrelated drivers or place them in boarding facilities along the way. 🔹 Purpose-Built, Climate-Controlled Vehicle: Pets travel in a vehicle organized specifically for animal transportation, with secure carriers, comfortable bedding, fresh water, ventilation, and dedicated climate control. 🔹 Professional Care Standards: Skoot is USDA-registered, fully insured, and operated by team members trained in pet first aid and CPR. We also maintain emergency, roadside-assistance, and backup-vehicle plans. 🔹 Clear Communication: You’ll receive consistent travel updates, including photos, location updates, and important information about your pet’s journey. 🔹 Veterinary-Grade Sanitation: Carriers, equipment, and transport areas are thoroughly cleaned using veterinary-grade disinfectants to help maintain a clean and sanitary travel environment. Hunter Lowery of Skoot Pet transport services deserves a 10 star rating!! He immediately gave a very fair price (no price gouging). And then he was so responsive, attentive, respectful and flexible. We moved 22 cats for a non-profit and we could not be happier. Transport was from SFO (San Francisco Int’l airport) to a private distination near San Luis Obispo (4 hours of driving). Our flights were delayed by 5 hours, he WAITED for us! The delay also added an hour of travel onto our itinarary due to rush hour. He was so gracious and polite, taking it all in stride (even though he had a tight timeline the next morning.) He was extremely reasonable for the extra hours (no gouging again.) We cannot recommend him ENOUGH!! His van was marked out exactly for our kennels (every single twenty-two of them). His van had AC, he is a careful driver. He helped us up/download all crates/kennels right into the holding area rather than just in the driveway (above and beyond what was expected). A good human and animal lover. HIGHLY recommend Hunter!!!

AMAZING!!! Due to my daughter getting sick, we needed to transport her cat from CA to OR. As a mom I have been worrying about so many things but I didn’t need to worry about the cat with Hunter and Skoot Pet Transport taking care of the details. The communication was timely and proactive, he was very punctual at pickup and drop off, and his van with a large crate for Binx to move around in was perfect. He was attentive to Binx’s litter box needs and kept an eye on whether he was eating and drinking. I would 1000% use this service again and highly recommend him to anyone needing to move a pet. Thank you Hunter for making a trying time a little less trying. Binx and my daughter are so happy to be reunited!

I was so happy we booked with Hunter with Scoot Pet Transport ! The communication was clear and made very easy. Everything he said he would do he did and he treated my very precious cargo, 8 week old boxer pup, with lots of tlc. The cherry on top was his price was the best out there!
