Needed to transport 2 guinea pigs from NC to Texas. 1. our driver was not the cheapest quote (there were a couple that were maybe $100 less) but some quotes were well over $1,000 more than hers. Basically, choose wisely based on reviews and don't take the first bid. 2. Communication with her was great via text and the app prior to the trip. 3. Pickup time was delayed a few hours due to winter storms but she kept us updated. 4. She kept us informed throughout the trip and sent us pictures of the piggies enjoying their ride. Piggies were safely delivered and we appreciated her attention to our family pets. 5-star!!!!

On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being excellent. Tim from Gentel-Pet Transfer was a 100. He was amazing with my new tiny Pomeranian fur baby. He doesn't answer the phone while driving, which is a great safety while driving to keep both him and your precious boundle of joy safe. I would pick him everytime if needed again. Just give him time to poll over and text or answer the phone cause he follows the law and won't put safty at risk. Hes friendly, and goes out the way to make sure your package is delivered perfect. He also will give you up to date progress with pictures throught out the delivery process. When he picked up my fur baby he let me know anything that was concerning or looked like a problem and updated me all the wax with locations and ETA. It lessoned my worry since I had just used the service for the first time he made it very, very stress-free.

I am not exaggerating when I say Tamara was a life safer. I have been overseas for over 4 months and unexpectedly found my dog Mortimer almost without a home because the arranged new caretaker could no longer take him once he moved down to Miami. With the help of friends I was able to find a temp home & a longer term home all the way back in VA until I get back. I needed a pet transporter ASAP, the first one fell through and told me the day of pickup that he couldn’t make it anymore. I was stressed and then reached out to Tamara. She responded very quickly and was able to accommodate my request. Once booked, she called me and introduced herself and the way she operates her transport business. She was very kind, professional, and reliable which put all my worries at ease. I knew my Mortimer was going to be in good hands. Tamara was very communicative during pickup, the trip, and drop off. She also helped relay some care info on my dog to the new caretaker and filled me in with pictures throughout the trip. My dog is also very anxious around new people and situations, but Tamara took her time to make him feel comfortable! He looked happy and relaxed throughout the trip. I am incredibly upset with myself for not trusting my instincts on this. I don’t understand how Deborah has five-star reviews after my experience. I initially booked her because she messaged me saying she was already driving to NYC, which aligned perfectly with my need for transport. I thought this would work out well, especially since she seemed to be heading in that direction already. I clearly explained that my dog had to be picked up by a specific time due to my afternoon obligations, emphasizing the importance of punctuality. She reassured me with, “No worries.” Unfortunately, it was all worries. When I asked about payment, she requested the full amount upfront, despite her page stating that half was due upfront and half upon delivery. She gave me a story about recently becoming a grandmother and asked if I could pay in full as a favor. This immediately raised red flags for me because reputable businesses don’t operate like this. However, I sent more than 50% via Zelle, even though I felt uneasy. After sending the payment, my doubts grew. I received no communication from her until I reached out the day before the pickup to confirm. Her reply was brief: “Yup, be there 8:30-9 am.” Then, she put her phone on Do Not Disturb. On the morning of the scheduled pickup, I contacted her at 7:30 am. Her phone was still on Do Not Disturb, and I received a text saying she would be there soon. Shortly after, she called to say she was in the wrong state. She then began rattling off excuses about being sick and other unrelated issues. This entire experience has been deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend her services to anyone based on the lack of professionalism, communication, and reliability.
