Short story. Shipping to Alaska? Don’t use this company. Synopsis: horrible communication, did not even come close to meeting deadline, unprepared at border, caught repeatedly lying about shipment details, still charged full price for a partial trip despite his total incompetence. Long story: boat was quoted to be delivered by the second week of April. Boat was picked up March 17th with Brandon stating “I’ll watch the weather and bring it up between storms”. Okay, fair enough. After no updates from Brandon in approximately a week, I message him to let him know I’d be out of town April 10-14th and further collaboration would be through my wife. At this time he tells me his daughter has “a doctor’s appointment” and the boat wouldn’t be delivered until the 27th (two weeks past quoted time frame). At his mercy, I agreed. Finally, Brandon takes off for Alaska April 23rd with the preface that “if I run into any trouble at the border I’ll call you”. The next morning, I receive a call from Brandon stating, “hey, I was turned down at the border and they wouldn’t tell me the reason, pretty sure they just didn’t like me”. At this time I asked to talk to the border patrol to which Brandon stated, “I’m all ready an hour away from the border. The agent said you’ll either have to come across with me or hire a different company” (come to find out Brandon had let the bonding expire on the boat and failed to check it prior to embarking). As such, Brandon said he would once again work on getting bonding only two days later to state that bonding had been denied “without reason”. I asked Brandon repeatedly for the paperwork to figure out the reason for denial in case I needed to get a different company to transport, of which he repeatedly skirted providing. After 2 more days of deliberation, a good friend noted that he would pick the boat up and bring it back. After the boat was picked up, Brandon proceeded to charge me 2.44$/mile to drag the boat from Sacramento the Washington without any prior discussion stating, “this is what I have into it driving to the border and I’ll absorb the rest of the costs” (storage. As if somehow him procrastinating for 6 weeks to transport my shipment was my fault). Now, I missed a literal once in a lifetime hunt (boat was being used as transport for trip), out 40hours of PTO, thousands of dollars in supplies for said trip, and hundreds of dollars in flights/accommodations preparing for trip. Retrospect: I chose Brandon as he was fairly Priced, initially had good communication, had great reviews, and was a small, family business. After this experience, I’m not sure he should be allowed to stay on this platform.

I recently had to move from Massachusetts to Florida, unexpectedly and expeditiously. I had to find a way to get my 2 year old African Sulcata Tortoise to Florida also. I found that NO commercial Airlines, Bus companies, or Train companies would allow any reptiles! This posed a great hurdle for me as I was not willing to separate from my pet. I had grown very attached to Zenn since she came to me! I subsequently found Citizenshipper through many hours of searching the web for a solution to my problem. I created a profile, and began chatting with the many Pet Transportation companies that are part of their platform. I trusted companies on their platform because Citizenshipper does extensive background checks, and verification of the individuals operating as pet transport companies! I had many options. I also had to find a company that would be willing to accept payment through a state funded program. I was lacking the funds to complete my move with Zenn. First Flight Nanny understood my dilemma and graciously agreed! Right from the start, after I accepted the bid and paid Citizenshipper their fee, me and Juan began to communicate about the process. Through many weeks of hurdles, document submission, and state beuracracy we finally got the funding approved. First Flight Nanny was so professional and empathetic as we both were very frustrated about the process! Just before the agreed departure date, we found out that the state had mailed the check to the wrong address! I was almost in tears, having already purchased my bus ticket now concerned that First Flight Nanny would back out of our agreement due to not getting paid...I contacted them via a phone call and voiced this concern I was put at ease when they said " we will not give up on you and Zenn, we will get her to Florida" That made me so happy!! They came to pick up Zenn as agreed and for the next 3 days as I suffered on busses for the 1400 mile trip I constantly received photos and videos of my Zenn enjoying scenic water views, walking through and eating grass ( her favorite) and sleeping in hotel rooms! They were caring for my baby as if they loved her as much as me! I want everyone searching for a way to transport your loving pet to know there is only one company that will be professional, empathetic and caring and that company is First Flight Nanny!! When Zenn arrived at my door in Fort Walton Beach Florida I hugged Juan and thanked him many times for enduring through the payment process and for providing Zenn with a safe, classy experience in her move to Florida! I rate this company 10 stars out of 5!!

London was so transparent the whole trip, and super funny as well! I had only been fostering my dog for about 3 months at the time of her pickup and she seemed to do great with her! Elena was absolutely the best choice to transport my Husky, Nikita, from Florida to North Dakota. When Elena arrived to pick up Nikita, she unexpectedly got loose and ran away. Instead of leaving the situation to us, Elena went above and beyond by staying and helping my sister search for her. In fact, Elena was the one who found Nikita over an hour later! Throughout the entire journey, Elena kept in regular contact with me, providing frequent photo and video updates. I never once felt out of the loop, and it was clear that Nikita was being well cared for every step of the way. I cannot recommend Elena highly enough. I was very selective about who I trusted to transport Nikita, and Elena exceeded every expectation. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about Nikita’s well-being and wasn’t simply doing a job. For most of us it’s hard to send our fur babies off with someone we don’t know, that’s why, when you need to, it’s important to choose the right people. All Aboard Transportation is that. Now on our 2nd cross country move and more stress than ever, they took the worry out of moving our dogs. The communication was great and we received photos daily. It was a treat for our kids to see photos of our dogs doing so well and helped them feel good about moving. Let’s be honest, everyone has a way of caring for their pets, “rules” or “routine”, and they made sure to stick to that. We would definitely use All Aboard Transportation again, Byron was our guy and took amazing care of our other kids.

Paul literally saved us. We relocated from South Africa to Arkansas and because of the international conflict, no flights were available to ship our dog and cat to the US through Atlanta (closest CDC facility to Arkansas). We had to re-route them through LA but no pet shippers would transport further than Arizona from LA. One of the large pet shippers suggested we try CitizenShipper and thank goodness we did! Paul accepted our job and we couldn’t have been more thankful. His communication is excellent - he will keep you up to date via texts and calls every few hours during their transport and sends photos and videos. Our international pet shippers failed to provide our pets with food but Paul stopped and got food and even litter for the cat. Then when he realized we were living out of a hotel for a few weeks, he generously gave us the rest of the food and litter! Paul - we really thought we were out of options and we can’t thank you enough for transporting our pets safely and reuniting our family.

It was no small job transporting our 4 large breed dogs and 2 cats from Virginia to Texas but these guys were professional and took great care of our pets on the long journey. Communication was great and we got regular photo and video updates from the rode. I would highly recommend them!

Aaron is AMAZING!!! You couldn’t ask for anyone more professional in his work and more importantly, more caring and loving of your pets. He treats them as if they are his own. He has the essential skills in his past from working in a shelter and doggy daycare to understand body language and behavior, which was extremely important for my dog. I chose Aaron because of this since the rescue dog he picked up for me in Alabama had been in a shelter for 3 years and was shutting down and afraid of everything and everyone. Within hours Aaron had her feeling much more at ease and loving riding in his vehicle with him. I owned a luxury boarding/daycare/convalescence center for animals and have been a certified vet tech for 34 years. From the 20+ offers from different companies, I knew Aaron would do the best job for the long trip from Alabama to Minnesota. He kept me updated daily with pictures and texts. He is the nicest and most polite and caring person you could want to transport your precious babies. I am forever grateful for him doing this work so Princess could have the safe and happy journey home that she had. I’d rate 10 stars if I could. There wasn’t one single thing that could have been done differently to have made it better. It was perfect and my dog loved and trusted him.
