Most people booking a pet transport don't say the real fear out loud, but it's always the same one: who is this person, and can I actually trust them with my dog for hours on the road. The profile looks fine. The reviews look fine. But this is your family, not a package, and once they're in the vehicle you're trusting a stranger to treat them the way you would. Hi, I'm Matt. I'm a former over the road driver with a Million Mile Safety Award, and before BDLG I spent years moving boats, trailers, equipment, and freight across the country. I started this company because I kept seeing the same gaps in pet transport: vague updates, generic handling, and owners left wondering what was actually happening with their animal between pickup and delivery. I wanted something built around the opposite of that. Large and strong breeds are where I have the deepest hands on experience, Malamutes, Akitas, Rottweilers, Shepherds, the dogs that need calm, confident, experienced handling because they're strong, smart, and read tension immediately. I've lived with and worked around powerful breeds for years, and that's not a marketing line, it's just where my actual background is. Every dog that travels with me, regardless of size, gets that same level of care and attention. I'm newer to this platform, but not newer to the work. Over the past few years I've completed more than 400 transports through other channels, and I bring 25 years of long distance transport experience across pets, boats, trailers, and freight. The number of reviews here doesn't reflect the number of trips behind the wheel. Here's what every transport includes: A secure, climate controlled setup sized for your dog. Stops on a real schedule for water, stretching, and bathroom breaks, not whenever it's convenient. Calm, confident handling from someone who reads dog behavior, not just drives a route. A clean vehicle and a route planned in advance so nothing is improvised. Regular updates including photos, check ins, and live GPS so you always know where your dog is and how they're doing. Every transport runs on a written contract, not a verbal agreement or a handshake. You'll know exactly what's covered before your dog ever gets in the vehicle. I also carry a comprehensive insurance policy with animal bailee and emergency vet coverage. You're never out of the loop while your dog is in my care. And if for some reason you ever feel otherwise, you'll have my direct line, no waiting on a platform message to get an answer. I operate out of Seattle, WA, and serve the contiguous United States. I'm not trying to be the biggest name on this platform. I'm trying to be the one you don't have to think twice about.
