To us, they are family, not just cargo. Being entrusted with someone's family member, over any distance, is something we never take lightly. Hi, I'm Matt, founder of Big Dog Logistics Group. I started BDLG because I kept seeing the same problems in transport: poor communication, impersonal service, and the feeling that what you were trusting someone with was just another item on a manifest. I wanted to build something different. I'm a former over-the-road driver and a Million Mile Safety Award recipient. That background shapes everything about how we operate, from how we plan a route to how we handle an animal to how we communicate with you along the way. Safety and professionalism aren't talking points here. They're habits. Large breeds are our specialty. Akitas, Rottweilers, Malamutes, Shepherds, the big, strong, strong-willed dogs that require calm, confident, experienced hands. Between us, we bring 60 years of experience as pet parents and handlers of some of the most powerful and intelligent breeds out there. We understand their temperaments, we respect their nature, and we know how to keep them comfortable and secure on the road. That said, every animal that rides with us gets the same level of care, attention, and respect, regardless of size. While we are newer to the CitizenShipper community, we are anything but new to the road. Over the past year alone we have completed 400+ transports through other channels, and we bring 25 years of long-distance transport experience across pets, towable equipment, boats, trailers, and small urgent freight. 🚚 ABOUT US Based in Atlanta, GA, Big Dog Logistics Group proudly serves the contiguous United States.
