I am Extremely Disappointed in how he was cared for. 1-He was covered in urine and fecal matter upon delivery. He has never urinated in his kennel. EVER. It’s clear it didn’t just happen once and that this happened several times during the journey. He has been on many long distance air cargo trips and long car trips and has never peed in his kennel. 2- the kennel that we placed in the van upon pickup was our own and it was not returned upon delivery. We were given a different kennel that is much smaller. 3- also when he was dropped off at my sisters house she informed us that his kennel had a puddle of urine that covered the entire bottom that was so bad it completely ruined his pad. You could swoosh around the urine it was so bad 4- one food bowl that was handed to my sister was filled with dog food soaked in urine. 5- I called and their excuse for why his kennel and himself was covered in pee and poop was because there were times he wouldn’t go potty when they took him out which I call bull crap because he has had strangers take him to the bathroom before and he knows what “go potty” means and I know he would chose to go to the bathroom outside rather than chose to lay in a half inch of urine!!! And we lived in New Hampshire and is used to going potty outside in snow storms and even goes out in 2 feet of snow. And why wasn’t his kennel cleaned or why wasn’t he ever wiped down and cleaned?! I am beyond livid and will be issuing more than one formal complaint.

0 stars would've been more appropriate. Don't book or believe the rating system. Terrible communication, pick up was a full day late, and delivery took twice as long as what was promised. Lots of ridiculous babbling excuses along the way. He clearly had overbooked himself and no apologies.

I have never used a service like this before and was honestly a little hesitant, but my eagerness to have my puppy sooner than if I would have gotten him myself, and the many amazing reviews he had, I was quickly won over and took a chance. I cannot tell you enough how pleased I was with Darryl and the service he provided. From the time I booked with him, he kept in contact letting me know every detail of his plan. He transported our puppy almost 700 miles, getting up at the crack of dawn because it was the only time the breeder was available to meet him. He texted me when he had him, along with a picture and sent me pictures and updates all throughout the day. The breeder commented on what a nice guy he was and I quickly agreed both from his professionalism and his genuine compassion for our puppy. Amazing transporter! I would highly recommend. He transported our three big dogs across the country and did so with so much love, care and patience. I could not have asked for a better person to care for my babies during this stressful move. Doggone handled every situation as I would have and kept constant communication. He was respectful, professional and went above and beyond for my family and our pups. They even had a little behavior issue on the trip and Doggone handled it beautifully. I can not stress enough the care this man gave to our dogs. He did not lock them in crates and minimize their breaks. Pups received elite care and travel for an affordable price. Unlike most other transports Doggone made sure he cared for our pups as if they were his very own. If you want a peace of mind for your animal transportation then I wouldn't even think twice on Doggone. He might not have many starts which I was a little worried about but he has proven with experience and heart that high starts rating don't even compare in service here. I did a lot of research before I selected Hound Haulers to transport my 13 week old collie puppies from Tennessee to California. After careful consideration, I selected them and couldn't be happier with the experience. From start to finish, communication was great. They notified me as soon as my pups were picked up from my breeder and sent updates 3 times each day (5 day journey). GPS tracking via Life360 provided me a visual on where they were any time I wanted to check. The drivers were amazing, and tracked the challenging weather conditions, as there were snowstorms they were dealing with along the way. Even having to take routes that allowed them to avoid the worst of the weather, they delivered my new babies safe, sound, and most importantly, happy, a day earlier than anticipated. After 5 days of "no paws on the ground" due to their young age, you would think the pups would be a bit of a mess when they arrived (as litter mates, they shared a crate), but they were clean! I highly recommend Hound Haulers to anyone who, under these current circumstances where so few airlines are still allowing transport of animals who are too large to ride in the cabin, and those that are cannot reasonably guarantee that flights won't be cancelled, leaving your pets stranded with you thousands of miles away, are struggling with how to transport their pets. I found my drivers, Heather and Matt, to be highly communicative all the way across the country, responsive to my questions, and clearly very caring for all of the animals in their charge. They seem to truly love what they do, and that's a huge plus when you are entrusting strangers with the transport of your pet. Well done Hound Haulers!! You have my everlasting gratitude.

These two are great people. They brought our sweet little Moxxi girl from Texas to Montana. They were amazing with keeping us up to date on their location and how our sweet girl was doing. She was very well taken care of through her travels. Moxxi loved both of them as we could see from the pictures and videos. They truly made this process stress free and reassured us that she was in good hands. All of the pictures, videos and text messages were a total plus as well. I could message her late at night or early in the morning and would get a response back in a timely manner putting my mind at ease when checking up on Moxxi. Even through they had some sleepless nights taking care of her they didn't fuss a bit. The drop-off process was quick and easy as well. I had to work that day but they worked great with my significant other in bringing our sweet girl home. They also met our other pups that we have which I found very sweet. These two are very sweet people and I am so glad that we chose them to bring Moxxi home. We will be contacting them again if we ever need to transport our pets. The most important thing is that my dog was delivered safe and sound. I would advise Pawrunners to let their customers know up front that drivers could be subcontracted out. I actually chose Pawrunners because of the values they present as well as the vehicle they drive. This was a transport in the dead of winter involving mountain roads and potentially hazardous driving conditions. What I got was a woman with an injured wrist driving a smart car. The experience was a bit stressful but in the end my doggie is safely with me now. For that, I thank them!

Tricia was absolutely amazing! I can not thank her enough for everything she did with trying to get my fur baby home to me! Our original plans fell through when Texas got slammed with a crazy almost week long snow storm and freezing temperatures! Most people in Texas were out of power, water, and the highways were shut down but even with all of the devastation, she stayed on top of the weather and made sure to get my puppy home to me as soon as safely possible! She also took great care of her the night before traveling! Tricia updated me on how much she ate, when she’d gone potty and everything I could’ve asked for! If we could give higher than 5 stars we would. This couple are an amazing team. They kept us totally connected during their trip. The snow storms were horrible this week and they kept on pushing through. Once they picked up our pup, they took pictures at each of their stops and notified us of his eating and drinking. You can tell they truly care about the animals and treat them as their own. I would highly recommend them and would absolutely choose them again.

Karen and Steve just delivered my 2 ferret buddies 2800 miles California to New York in the dead of winter and I couldn’t be happier . From our first contact until delivery they were personable and amazing . GET A PRIVATE TRANSPORT if there is any way you can swing it . We decided to pay a bit more because our buddies can’t get out every 4 hours like doggies . I am sure for dogs who like a play date shared is super fun and they would do a great job no matter what - they love all animals Karen and Ron were fast , communicative and gave attention to cleanliness and love and safety the whole way .
