Gloria told me I would get updates every few hours. When I booked, the understanding was that she would drive direct from picking up Howie to dropping him off to me. Neither the updates or the direct route ended up being the case. I took 1 star off for no frequent updates offered for over 24 hours and 1 star off for not being told I was no longer the first stop. Pickup was at 9am Friday and drop off was at 8:30pm Saturday. Feb 6 my first message from Gloria was at 12:24pm (pickup happened at 9am. It would have been nice if she texted me that pickup was a success). In this message, she sent a photo and said she’d give me an update in a few hours. That was the last time I got anything from her without me texting to ask for a photo or status. After 9 hours of not hearing anything I texted. She said she was passing through Chicago and stopping for the night. The next morning, after not getting a text saying she departed, I got worried and texted around 9am. I asked for a photo too since at that point as I was getting nervous. She sent me a video as requested and gave an ETA of 3-5pm. Google maps confirms she’s 6 hours out in PA. 5 1/2 hours go by and nothing. Silence. I text. They are making a rest stop. Said they hit traffic. I again request a photo and receive one. At 3pm I find out they are headed to NJ to drop off another dog. When I booked her, I was under the understanding she was headed direct to me. Fine if another dog traveled along, but I was pretty upset that the customer who booked after I booked got priority. Overall it was stressful not to get the updates as advertised. I was also upset that a second customer signed on later and became the priority destination without telling me I was no longer the first stop. I did not mind the second dog, it was nice to have a companion. I did mind not being told about the change in plans. I do feel that my dog was well cared for and arrived in her arms (there was a second driver with her) and he was very healthy and happy. My only complaints are around communication, which was the reason I chose Gloria. I liked the idea about the updates every few hours. I just did not get them without asking for them after 9 - 12 hours of silence. I think if communication can be improved upon, Gloria is a 5 star driver.

Five stars is not enough. I cannot even tell you how amazing Kate is!! I had my heart set on a puppy in Miami and was trying to figure out how to get him to Denver. I found Kate, and it seemed like the perfect fit. She was quick to respond and coordinate a plan, and she kept me updated before the pick up. The day of, she picked him up and got him on the plane, sent photos and updates throughout the flight. He absolutely loved Kate! She took great care of him. And she was so thoughtful and kind. My uncle who lived alone had died suddenly. He adored his little dachshund beagle mix so we needed to make immediate arrangements to have her brought to our home to live. He lived in Virginia and we are Michigan. The poor dog had been through so much and I did not want her put on a plane. I found my way to Citizen Shipper and received about a dozen bids within minutes. The prices and services varied. What was most important to me was someone who would be kind to the dog, allow her to be the only passenger, and would get her here safely. I did not know anything about her in terms of how she would travel, whether she was potty trained, if she was aggressive- and I expressed all of that upfront. Chris and Sharon were the people I choose to go with because they hit on all the points that were important to me. I am glad I did and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. They were flexible with the schedule, and honored every commitment made. When Chris arrived with Lorelei I found her in the truck in as close to a doggie 5 star resort as you can get. She had a bed, food and water bowl, toys and wetting pads all of which Chris had provided. He had to travel through snow and ice across two days with a 5 year old special needs dog on medicine, and he did a wonderful job. They sent photos on the journey and checked on her in the days to follow. Chris and Sharon are as kind as they come and I would never hesitate to do business with them again in the future. I would recommend their services to anyone. On behalf of a grieving family and little Lorelei who has been through a lot to get here...Chris and Sharon, thank you. You are wonderful and we appreciate you.

Extremely satisfied!!!!!! Shawn's flexibility was superb on both sides. He arrived a little later than expected but he had informed us of the delay and it was not an issue because we planned shipping Smith around our move, not our move around shipping Smith. We provided our own crate but Shawn showed up with the exact same crate if needed. He kept us updated on his progress throughout the trip to include pictures. We arrived in San Antonio the same day as Shawn, but we couldn't take possession of our new house until the following day. Shawn accomodated us and coordinated meeting us at the house. No pressure from Shawn for us to hurry because of another customer or because he needed to get back on the road. Patient and professional. Both characteristics we greatly appreciated during a truly hectic move. If/when we move again, we hope Shawn will still be available. Well I was kind of concerned with using this site. But after communicating with Mr. Griggs and his copilot I I couldn't be more happy with my experience.. I seen the one bad review he had but I looked past it due to all the other glowing ones. Boy am I glad I did. I even threw a curve ball and met him part way at the last minute and he did not disappoint me. My new lil baby was kept clean, and in a sanitary environment. I checked out the kennel and it was fresh and clean. I would give them 10 if I could. He is not only affordable but really cares about his transports.

We can't be more delighted with their service, they went out of their way to reschedule the trip to get our little girl here first. She arrived on time and was well taken care of during the 20 plus hour trip, it was very obvious that they love not only what they due but all pets too.
