Maybe it is just the shipping industry? But communication was VERY confusing: I would talk with ADL & he was informative- but not all knowing- he said alot of things to me but never backed up his intended actions... connection to the actual person that handled my motorcycle was confusing- they had 2 numbers: one was dispatch & the other was the driver? Dispatch was kind of helpful? The driver was kind of helpful? After what I undstand was a breakdown in the tow vehicle, I was texted there was going to be a delay... let alone the pick up was a cluster ( 5 days late & @ 11pm instead of during the daytime hours...) My bike arrived this morning @7am after the driver texted me @6pm last night intending to deliver "sometime later tonight..."... I guess the shipping business is just "that way"? My bike is safe in my possession finally almost 2 weeks late! What a stress to have this happening recently!!! Put a lot of people out, adjusted schedules for pick up & adjusted schedules for the delivery! A lot of jumbled phone calls, texts, emails & a lot of money spent to have so much "fun" to be included in this debockle!!! Carry on! Good luck on your shipping adventure!!!

Both of the transporters did an amazing job. I added a little bit of a challenge because the day that they wanted to deliver my pets in South Carolina. I wasn’t even going to be there. So they were very accommodating, even though it created some issues with their previous travel, arrangements and clients. I have been unable to rehome two cats that my son had. They were unfriendly, unfortunately, and did give the ladies a bit of problem when it was time to clean out their cat litter. Wanted to let you know that they did an excellent job caring for the cats and especially accommodating with my last-minute request to take them with me to South Carolina since I was unable to find them a place to live. There was no way I could just allow the cats to be let out to fend for themselves. They went above and beyond to take great care of the cats, communicate consistently with me along with sending pictures of how the cats were doing. I really appreciate these two ladies for the job they do. I would give them a very high rating and recommend them to anyone, wanting to transport their pets.

Do not use Furr-Babies-Ride/ Rodney Guin II. I was scammed. I booked a puppy transport on Citizen Shipper and hired Rodney Guin II with Furr-Babies-Ride to transport them from Cumberland MD to Elizabeth City NC between 5/19 - 5/21. It was a surprise for my Husband when he got back from a trip and they had to be delivered within that 3 day window. I booked this weeks in advance & spent $350, which more expensive than other bids because he had good ratings. His contract stated any job under $500 would need to be paid in full at the time of booking. The contract also stated that the job would be completed no later than 5/21. We had good communication up to the week of the delivery. Most of his messages he sent said that he was having difficulty getting a van or SUV to transport them. They were two 5 lb Pug mix puppies in a small carrier, so I'm not sure why he needed a van or SUV, as a car would work. This made me suspicious that this was a scam. On Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday before the delivery, I kept texting him asking the status of him getting a vehicle. Again, he indicated the difficulty in getting a vehicle. As of 6:25 pm on Thursday he stopped replying to my text messages. I tried again at 9:25 pm, with no response. On Friday afternoon, he finally replied stating he was still waiting to hear back about a vehicle. At 2:00 pm, I asked what if he didn't get a vehicle. He replied he hoped that he could get one. I asked if I should contact someone else to do the job'? He asked if I wanted to cancel his services and If so I needed to contact citizen shipper or he can. I replied saying no, that I really wanted him to do the job, but this last minute vehicle issue was stressing me out. Rodney replied that he understood my feelings & he doesn't normally have issues, but they were high in demand & he was sorry. I believe now this was all BS. I replied asking if we were still on for delivery. I then sent '??' at 9:00 pm with no response. I ended up posting the job again on Citizen Shipper at 4:00 am on Saturday morning as I didn't know if he going to cancel on me or not. He said if I canceled the job, per the contract that no money would be refunded as it was a deposit and non-refundable. I argued that the $350 was for the entire job, not a deposit and that I wanted him to complete the job, but it was HIS fault that he couldn't obtain a vehicle. After going back & fourth via text, he finally agreed to refund me. I contacted him several times & he stopped responding completely. I have yet to see a refund. I have screenshots of all our texts. So instead of paying $350, I ended up paying an additional $350 to someone else who delivered the puppies that same day. I also found out later that he lived in Texas. I told him that I didn't believe that he was planning to do the job & he was scamming me. That's a long drive from Maryland & North Carolina for $350 & it most likely cost that much to rent a van. He said it wasn't a scam. I contacted Citizen Shipper, but they offered no help in resolving the issue. They are only the middleman listing jobs. Any contracts were between the Shipper & Receiver. Gina was the absolute best! this was my first experience with citizen shipper and I struck gold when I selected Gina to transport my mother's Shih Tzu from California to my home in Georgia. Gina went above and beyond to ensure that our little guy who is suffering from separation anxiety due to the death of my mom was comfortable and treated him just like family. When there was a delay at the beginning of the trip due to an illness, Gina still received Champ on the scheduled due date and kept him with her until the updated travel date at no additional charge to me. On the day that Gina was scheduled to deliver my little guy to my home, my husband had to undergo emergency surgery. Gina rerouted her schedule and kept Champ 4 extra days just to give us some time. I could not have been more pleased with the service and level of care she took with our fur baby. What a great experience!!! I was hesitant to use this site for the very first time to book services to have my pup transported to me. Mindy messaged me and was extremely warm and pleasant. She answered all of the questions I had pertaining to her services and was very open with her communication. Once we agreed on a bid, she was great from start to finish. Mindy sent me pictures and kept me informed every step of the way about her travels with our new pup. I unfortunately had the wrong address on file when she arrived, and under normal circumstances, others may have been extremely upset. She was nothing short of understanding and promptly changed course and delivered him safely to us. Mindy personally brought our pup to our front door. Post delivery, Mindy reached out to see how he had acclimated to his new home and was interested in what we had decided to name him. I informed her that his name was Cien, which means "100" in Spanish; she asked if we were going to speak Spanish to him, to which I informed her that I wasn’t bi-lingual and just loved the name. Mindy went out of her way to send me links to learn basic Spanish puppy commands, which was extremely thoughtful. This has been a horrible and truly gut-wrenching experience. Courtney was set to pick up my foster dog on February 27th, but was delayed to March 1st because of mechanical issues on her truck (and trying to get an actual ETA from her was like pulling teeth). After promising updates when she picked my dog up on March 1st in Dallas, TX to take him to Northern California (what should be a five-day trip at most), we got very little updates and information from her when we requested it, if any (including current location/city and state, asking how my dog was doing, an ETA, etc), between March 2nd and March 10th, and certainly just about none on her own. After telling us more than once that she was surprised she was "just seeing our texts now", she let us know on March 9th that she had a medical emergency, and while the receiving party and I let her know we completely understood and hoped things would be alright for her soon, we needed more updates and an accurate ETA, and on March 10th, she got defensive and shared with us that her "communication lines had been open" because she had "on more than one occasion sent even photos without being asked" (she had been asked more than once before she sent three photos - one in which the dog was doing his business - and had barely given us updates even when we asked repeatedly). It is March 21st and we have not heard from her since. With that in mind, Courtney has blocked the receiving party on Venmo, and while I have been in touch with CS to get more information about the whereabouts of our dog, they let us know today that Courtney is claiming that we cancelled the shipment and my dog was never picked up. This is the worst possible outcome and I am dreading the final steps of this matter.
