When I tell you Donna is an Angel sent from above, I mean it. I can’t even put into words how awesome she made our first experience with having a puppy transported. She had great communication, she sent videos and pictures along the almost 12 hour drive, and we got to watch her make the trip over live GPS. They also checked the wheel bearings on the boat trailer to make sure they were in good condition, when the made stops. I can't say enough great things about Ms. Clay Hardy. She picked up Toby who we were rescuing and showed him love & compassion. She sent me 1-3 videos a day of how they were doing. He was not groomed sufficiently as required and she gave him a bath & clipped him herself. He came with nothing, but a bag of food which he didn't want so she stopped & got him chicken for the transport. Angie and Thomas were both very friendly and brought our two dogs to us safely, however I was disappointed with several aspects of the transport. Firstly, I was told that our two dogs would be the only dogs in the car during transport. When they were picked up, there were at least 2 other dogs in the car, and at least one other dog in the car by the time they were dropped off. Secondly, I was told that our dogs would not be crated and could instead ride in the car with just a seatbelt harness. Both dogs were crated for the entirety of the drive (besides short breaks at stops). I would not have booked PuppyLoveRelocating Too if I had known that there would be other dogs in the car at the same time and that the dogs would be crated. Additionally, the transport was set to arrive at 10:30am, but didn’t arrive until around 4pm. Honestly, this wasn’t a big deal and was the least of my concerns with this transport. My biggest issue with this was that I was not notified of the delay until 15 minutes prior to the original drop-off time. Finally, one of our dogs arrived very overheated and was sick for the rest of the day after arrival. The transport was from TX to AZ in the middle of the summer, but I would have hoped that the car would be kept cool enough for the dogs, especially if they are being put in a crate in the very back of the car. Our dogs are with us and have fully recovered, which is all that matters, however, this transport was less than ideal.
