Rick was awesome! I had a GSD rescue (Miley) that I needed to get a transport for from Southern California to Iowa. Rick responded promptly with his bid, and his price beat everyone else. He picked up on time, gave me updates along the way, dealt with blowing coat and potty accidents like a champ, and my adopter"s first comment after he let me know the dog arrived was to let me know how great Rick was. Rick's timing was reasonable, and I'd definitely use him again for transport.

While I don't love that I have to leave a one star review, I do want to be honest that my experience with Becca was unfortunately not great. The day prior to our scheduled pickup date, I reached out to her via text multiple times throughout the day to ask about what time she might be Colorado to pick up my dog. I received no response at all via call or text. The day of the scheduled pick up, I reached out again via text and let her know that I assumed the transportation would be cancelled as I had not heard from her, and requested a refund of the 50% deposit that I paid to her the week prior for my dog's transportation. This time she did respond via text—she let me know that her car wouldn't drive on the road and that she was "going mental", and said she would refund me when she had time (I paid via Venmo so the refund shouldn't take more than a few minutes). She did apologize for not being able to complete the trip and I let her know there were no hard feelings and that I understand sometimes things happen that are out of our control. Though I do wish she would have communicated better in advance rather than making me do all the work of reaching out, I did mean what I said. It's now 4 days after the originally scheduled pick up date. I have reached out via text again to inquire about a refund for my deposit and have received no response from Becca at all once more. I am very privileged to be in a position to afford to arrange alternate transportation for my dog even without receiving that refund; however, I would expect that in this case the driver should do the right thing and refund the money that I paid to them when I originally entrusted them with this job that fell through with no communication or warning. I truly do hope that whatever is going on in Becca's life turns around and she's able to get her car in shape again. In posting this review I may be assuring that I never receive my refund but I feel like others should know to proceed with caution here, as when things didn't go exactly to plan with Becca, I certainly got the short end of the stick, and am out $525 unless or until she finds the time to refund me.

I had tried absolutely everything to get my dog to Texas, but due to his size we were out of options. I found this site through a Google search and was nervous of scams, but it was our last option. From the first message Toni sent I could tell her & Floyd cared deeply for the pets they transport. Which is what led me to booking with them. She provided superb communication the entire time and even gave us a gps tracker so I could watch where our pup was in his journey. He made it safely from Reno to Texas in just a little over a day! I can not say enough good about Dawg Gone Pet Transport! They went above and beyond. I needed to book a last minute travel for my puppies to be picked up from the breeder. The breeder was giving me an extremely hard time because she wanted me to have the puppies shipped in cargo for a considerable amount. I decided to go with ground transport with Dawg Gone Transport instead of flying to bring them back. Todd at Dawg Gone was amazing!! My breeder would only accept cash or usps mailed money orders. Todd went out of his Wray to let mw send the money to him electronically to give to the breeder. He made multiple stops to ensure that my puppies pick up went smoothly. He even communicated with the breeder for me, who gave him a hard time. Despite the struggles with the breeder, Todd made sure that my puppies were well taken care of and he brought them safely to me. They are the sweetest girls, and I am so glad they are her safe! Thank you thank you thank you!!! I can not recommended the company enough.

My dog was on the road for a week and I had to reach out for photos which I only received two in one day when I asked for them. Not knowing where she was located or how many dogs where together made me slightly uneasy. The communication could have been better, but overall I am glad my dog made it home and in one piece.

If you love your animal and you want to have piece of mine that they are in the hands of a person whose desire is to bring them to you or wherever they are going with the same care that you would have, then hire her and I assure you that your worries will be solved.!If she can bring a 90 lbs neurotic pitbull with a fear of cars across the country from philly to Los angeles and hand deliver her over her fear of cars and in good mental state she can deliver any animal. She did it with patience, love and understanding.She has a touch with dogs for sure. I wish I could have given her 10 x the amount it was to send her because the job she did was worth that and more!

Plants and trees

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!!! They burned us for $11,200 they were supposed to move my dogs but somehow cuz we are good people They convinced us to let them move our stuff???? They took off in the truck with all our possessions as we are moving to South Carolina and our whole life was in that track. Needless to say they left the other one with just plants in it. They then left after dropping the truck off at a motel six they left it unattended and unlocked and got on the road! I feel hours later they text where the truck was. No keys and no way to do anything! All because we wanted to make sure they had insurance so we were the bad guys! Literally, I don’t wanna talk about her mental state , but it’s something to worry about. I wouldn’t use these people as there’s no way you could trust that your loved ones with make it in one piece ! Enough said just don’t use them. Even Penske has blocked them from ever getting a truck again this is the third time they’ve stolen a truck! And thanks for reading and I hope you believe what I have to say so you don’t get hurt in the process 10!

I was concerned transporting my 10 year old Great Dane from the east coast to the west coast. I wanted to.make sure I picked someone that would have patience and understanding with an older dog. In the end everything, for the most part, turned out fine. I was told it would be a 2 week or less delivery, I got it 1 day before 3 weeks. There were obviously a lot of jobs picked up in the middle of my transport. The only communication I had was from my brother that it was picked up, and then if I reached out, I received a response. I guess I expected a little more updates along the way. I was told it would be delivered around a certain time, then a couple hours later and so forth, until 6.5 hours after the first time mentioned. Also upon inspection the next day, since it was delivered so late at night, there was a fresh 3 inch gouge out of the edge of the wood arm on my chair that now needs to be repaired.

There are not enough wonderful adjectives to express how she cared for him. She made extra stops because he had knee cap surgery in the past, and wanted to be certain the long trip didn't cause it to stiffen up. She is caring, professional, conscientious, kept me posted, sent pictures. She is the absolute best!!! Would give her 10 stars if possible. Was a wonderful choice, and should the need ever arise for his transportation again, I would definitely ask her to please transport him again. Couldn't have asked for anyone more exceptional!!!!!
