The driver this was contracted out to (by ADL Logistics,) was great. However, the service provided by ADL Logistics LLC in scheduling the driver/delivery was less than superb. I booked my vehicle (motorcycle,) transport and scheduled pick-up for on or after 11/7, however that's where things got hairy. I called on Friday 11/4 and spoke with Ryan after receiving an email that the delivery was mistakenly scheduled ahead of the pick-up on or after date, and he advised he'd get that corrected and have another driver scheduled that conformed to the dates provided. When the end of day came on Friday and I saw the order was still assigned to the same driver for transport to be picked-up the following day on Saturday 11/5, I sent a follow-up message to ADL Logistics through CitizenShipper and let them know of the predicament and status of my call with Ryan and my webform scheduling the pick-up dates, but never received a reply. I tried calling the number for the transporter who was assigned to my delivery, but it went to a voicemail box which was full and was unable to leave a voicemail. I called again, but no answer. Friday night left me in the dark as to whether or not I could reliably expect the motorcycle to be picked-up on or after 11/7. Saturday (11/5,) around noon rolled around and I got a call from the dealer advising he driver was there to pick-up the bike. After giving the dealership the FedEx tracking info, they were at slightly more ease explaining to the driver that the bike was not able to be picked-up until after they receive the paperwork that was enroute and to be received in the next hour or two. Thankfully the driver was understanding and patiently waited for FedEx and the Dealership's Financing team to tie up the loose ends, and got it loaded up then safely delivered to me on Sunday 11/6. Again, the driver was great. However, being advised by ADL Logistics that this was going to be routed to another driver so that pick-up would occur on or after 11/7 after being assigned to a driver that was outside of my pick-up window left a bad taste in my mouth. Particularly because even when I called to address the situation, as mistakes happen, the issue was not handled properly. All in all I'm happy to have my motorcycle ahead of schedule, but if things hadn't worked out just perfectly where we had a driver that was willing to sacrifice an hour and a half of their time due to ADL Logistics' mischeduling, this could have been a much worse situation. Luckily it all came together in the final moments, however that is NOT how a service that you pay a competitive price for should operate. Expectations of scheduling around hard dates for pick-up (within 5 days AFTER scheduled pick-up would have been fine, as was the agreement when I scheduled,) should ALWAYS be the case, and ONLY an exception when the client requesting shipment APPROVES of such and is ADEQUATELY INFORMED.

Ruby Slippers to the rescue! Highly recommend they took excellent care of my grand fur baby, we loved the pictures along the way and the communication. If you have the slightest doubt (like we did) then put those doubts to rest and know that your pet will most definitely be in the best hands during transport. Ruby Slippers feels like family and made our fur baby feel comfortable and at home. Our little Rose (fur baby) is a rescue and is very nervous around new people, Ruby Slippers has the expertise to gain trust and the gentle understanding of how to help our little Rose feel so loved.
