I hired this company to transport a 350-pound massage chair from NYC to Virginia. All the details were clearly laid out in my job listing, including the fact that the mover would be fully responsible for both loading and unloading the item. After a few back-and-forth messages, Pegas acknowledged the requirements and even increased the price, confirming that the new rate included full service — loading and unloading handled by them. I agreed and booked the job under those clear terms. Let me be very clear: this was NOT the service I received. Yes, the driver was communicative, pleasant and arrived on time, but that is where the positives end. Here’s what went wrong: • The driver arrived two hours early, despite me explicitly telling him the building could not allow freight elevator access before 9am. He showed up at 8am, saying he’d arrive at 10. Not a huge deal, but the disregard for specific instructions set the tone. • He came with NO equipment. No dolly, no ramp— nothing. He literally showed up in flip flops to move a 350-pound massage chair. • I had two separate phone conversations with the driver before the move, explaining that no one would be available to help and that he needed to come prepared to handle the job himself. He acknowledged that and still arrived unprepared. • As a result, my sister (who was there at pickup) had to scramble to find workers from the building and pay them out of pocket to help load the chair. That’s completely unacceptable. • At delivery, he once again had no help and no plan for how to unload the chair. My husband and I had to leave work to meet him and help unload the chair ourselves — which is not what we paid for. To make matters worse, the pricing turned into a mess. I had already paid portion of the cost prior to the move and was told the remaining would go to the driver. However, the driver demanded more than the difference I owed, which is not only incorrect, but outrageous given that he did not provide the full service I paid extra for. When I called the company, they said the extra $50 was for “insurance” — something that was never explained in advance. It felt like an upsell scam at the finish line. In the end, I paid the driver just to get him out of my home. I still don’t know if the company is shady, the driver is shady, or both — but this was a completely unprofessional and frustrating experience from start to finish. It was clear that Pegas failed to assign this job to a driver with the proper equipment, experience, or preparation. Either the dispatcher didn't communicate the job requirements or they ignored them altogether. Bottom line: I paid for a full-service move and ended up having to find and pay extra help myself, take off work, and do the job I hired someone else to do. This is NOT how you run a business. Do yourself a favor — avoid this company at all costs.

He courteously dropped me off at my hotel and started his journey with Luna. I returned to California the next day by plane and Anxiously waited for my baby. Lisa annd Michael informed me of where they were and their estimate time of arrival several times each day. If I could give CJ 10 Stars, I would! Very friendly and awesome communication from booking to delivery. This was my first time using CitizenShipper and I was a bit nervous having a stranger drive our 4 fur babies across the US from CA to GA. He was punctual at pick up and had a comfortable setup for the cats. He provided treats and water and he even had enough room to ship our cat essentials. He was very accommodating when setting pick up and delivery. He went out of his was to spend an hour with us to help the cats become more familiar with him. I was incredibly disappointed in the service. Both of my cats did arrive to my destination, but they did so 3-4 days late. This would have been fine had they both not been soaked in their own urine. I understand that they are cats and it’s difficult to make sure they have constant access to the litter box while driving. But the white parts of their coat were discolored from sitting in it. They were both skittish upon arrival, which was to be expected. But having to spend the next several hours bathing them, making grooming appointments, and making emergency vet appointments for a possible UTI was not. I am devastated and disgusted.
