I felt 100% comfortable having my 2 year old husky mix transported from arizona to Upstate NY in just 4 days! Truly compassionate animal lovers, who will cater to your dogs unique needs. They do not just crate the animal, they allow your animal to be free in the bus, if that's ok with you, and our doggo, bella arrived happy healthy! 100% recommend thier school bus transport. Way better and more cozy than a white van with a bunch of crates stacked in the back.

My wife and I booked with Tommy R. over a month ago. We have made multiple attempts to have a substantive conversation with Tommy R. and we continue to get unanswered phone calls short text messages pushing us off. We cannot understand why a shipper would or cannot take the time to participate in a short phone call to go over the shipping details for such an important event. We thought by booking well in advance of our move we would have some comfort in knowing our pets were secured and shipped in an around the date we requested. We are very disappointed and finally decided to disingage from this vendor as soon as possible so we can attempt to make other arrangements to ship our precious cargo. We are a little dismayed because we selected Tommy R. over others for his 5 star rating. Perhaps Tommy R. is a reliable shipper but this Citizenshipper will not be shipping our pets.

Not only did Melissa show a lot of love and care for our german shepard Myla, I could tell that Myla trusted her throughout their 11 hour trip. Melissa was communicative all throughout the booking process and the trip. She gave us live pictures and GPS tracking updates, so you never have to be worried! Ron & Dawn are amazing to work with! They were very kind, patient, punctual, and detailed. Communication was 100/10! We got the news that Ron had been on the receiving-end of a vehicle accident (no animals on board) a few days before our pick-up day. They communicated to us right away and even recommended that we look around for another transport in the event that they couldn't get back up and running in time. My client and I decided to wait it out and thankfully Ron was not seriously injured and was able to use a rental to continue their scheduled transports on time as originally planned! Pick-up day came and our 8 week old Chihuahua puppy started his journey from PA - MN to his new family. My client and I received updates with photos every couple of hours as Ron stopped for check-ups and general care. Our puppy had a 'no paws on the ground' transport and everything was flawless. My client received her new bundle of joy and couldn't have been happier! I just cannot stress enough on Travers Family Transport's excellent communication, care, perseverance, and kindness! We adopted our new Golden Pyrenees, Jemma, from a rescue organization in Texas. After Jemma had been adopted out by the rescue, she was returned a few months later, severely traumatized. We believe she may have been punished when she had one or more accidents in the adoptive home (as puppies will do--they should never be shamed for it). As a result, she was the most fearful 10 month old puppy my husband and I have seen. However, with lots of love, treats, encouragement and daily walks in nature, Jemma is doing better and better every day and learning to trust humans again. She has the absolute sweetest nature one could wish for and we are blessed to have her. Now, on to Mario. If I could give him six stars, I would. We explained Jemma's unfortunate circumstances to Mario, and he totally stepped up to help her with her transition-- not just to a new state, but to a new home. He was gentle, patient, and kept us updated at all times while he was on the road from Texas to California. Mario is a total pro and we will use his services again should the need arise!

The end result was my cats reached their destination and are adjusting nicely to their new home. However, I was mislead on some things. I was told by the person I made arrangements with that it would be a solo trip handled by him personally. I was in a bind and needed someone because my previous animal transport had to cancel. The day before I found out it would be someone else picking up my cats. That was fine. However, the pick up time was changed twice then he was still six hours late. It is difficult getting my cats in a carrier. I knew I would never get them back in, so they had to stay in their carries an extra three hours until he got there to pick them up. I was told my cats would arrive in NY in the late afternoon, early evening. My cats didn't arrive until 2am. The spend nearly 36 hours in a small carrier. The gentleman who drove them, seemed nice. He also seemed to be unaware of what I was promised and told when I made the reservation. I was given a discount, but it doesn't make up for the stress my cats went through. As well as I and the person who was receiving them. I would not recommend them because of the false information I was given.
