About

Offering adequate travel conditions by using transport vhiacles customized for the best pet travel experience. Must book with us because we provide royal-treatment and accommodations, our vehicles provide outstanding traveling conditions. So, welcome to PET WAY courier. We are here to help you relocate your furry loved one and are focused on safety and pet confort. We undestand the concers pet owners endure for the relocation of their pet or pets. Meaning everything for families and individual owners, as a family member, the love for the furry ones is the most important focus durring this process. So, to make things easier your furry loved one pet will be offered outstanding accomedations on our equipped vhiacles relative to what the competition normaly offers, and will be cared with love. We have a vast experience accumulated by providing for more than two years a route along the east coast and monthly trips across country for regular and new custumers We guarantee a good and fear pricing and unique in the industry travel accommodations. We invite you to see and check the pictures of the travel accommodations available on our profile. Most transporters will not show these for a reason. When you book with us you will be knowledgeable of where and how we going to transport your pet. We don't do car-ride like trips, our vehicles are customized for pet transport so we can offer the best experience for your pet. Our costumers love when their pets travel in our Mercedes Sprinter van, the space and comfort it offers is unique in this market. Your pet can bring his favorite toys, pet bed or blanket. Very important to know that in our shared rides pets travel privately and not in group. They will have their own privet accommodations and no direct contact with other pets. Safety Our concern with safety is taken very seriously Sarting with our Gunner Kennels provided. These are the first pet crates to receive a Dual 5 Star Crash Test Rating from Center-for-Pet-Safety-Laboratory in the crate and carrier categories. Sanitation: kennels are cleaned and sanitized every 24 hours. Pet comfort Our accommodations offer more travel space for your pet then what our competitors will normally. Accommodations with up to 58 inches long, plus video screens to help entertain your pet, and pet friendly decorated accommodations are some of the treats we offer. Your pet will have the opportunity to get plenty of exercise. We can provide walk out services for adult fully vaccinated and safely friendly pets, where they get to be walk out and exercise. Pets that show signs of being aggressive will be accommodated within the USDA pet transportation guidelines. We do stop regularly on pet friendly parks or trails so they can get some fresh air and rest from the road. Every 4 hours pets will be check on, and any fresh water, food, cleaning, bedding adjustments or any other needs detected will be addressed. Most of travel in average is done during the night time, so pets get to relax and rest from the road during the day when they are normally more active. Pets tend to be sleeping when we are moving down the road, so things are pretty chill during transport. This may be due to our vast experience in accommodating and taking good care of the pets, which allows them to feel comfortable, and relaxed along the way with less stress as possible. Comfortable spacious bedding, fresh clean water, timely potty brakes, smooth safe driving conditions all contribute for a better experience for your pet. The driver will make the diligence to adapt driving habits to provide a safe and smooth ride to the furry passengers; avoiding to drive in high traffic, use moderated speeds and avoiding to drive during severe weather conditions. Safety and pet comfort may make our ETA differ from normal GPS ETA’s. The driver has to take a safety rest brake normally after every 10 hours of driving, or whenever he feels the need for some rest. GPS traking will be available and video and pictures updates. PET WAY is a Sole Proprietorship business registered in Florida under the fictitious name PET WAY Jun of 2020. We are insured by PET CARE AFFILIATES, LLC. We have high safety standards and are USDA licensed, and follow recommended regulations for pet surface transportation and keep our knowledge about any changes on regulation up to date. Our Transporter’s registration with US Department of Agriculture is under the name of Miguel Oliveira, registration number 58-T-0293. We help you get your pet ready for the trip and present solutions for each case (pets with anxiety, not comfortable being around other pets and people, pets not used to be in a crate and to car travel). We refer to the best guidelines to prepare your pet from the American Veterinary Medical Association recommendations for a better experience for your pet. We protect your pet so he will not encounter other pets or come in contact with any transmissible diseases or sicknesses during the trip. We do not transport pets loose in the vehicle on car seats or beds unprofessionally set up. We consider all guidelines and recommendations for pet ground transportation from institutions like USDA, AVMA, ASPCA, AVMA's, etc. !!!!!!!!!!How to prepare your pet for transportation.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PET WAY is here and along the way to help you prepare your pet and help your pet have a safe and comfortable experience. The better you prepare your pet for travel the better will be his experience. What should you think about when deciding to transport your pet cross country? Make sure your pet is comfortable with travel Some pets cannot handle travel because of illness, injury, age or temperament. If your veterinarian does not recommend travel, you should consider a reliable pet- sitter or boarding facilities in your area. Make sure your pet has identification tags with up-to-date information. Having your pet implanted with a microchip can improve your chances of getting your pet back if it becomes lost. If you are taking your pet across state or international borders, a health certificate as well as other documentation may be required. The health certificate must be signed by an accredited veterinarian after examining your pet and determining that it is free of infectious diseases and satisfies all import requirements of the receiving state, territory, or country. International travel often requires USDA endorsement of the certificate. For more information, see AVMA's resources on Animal Travel and Transport and Basic Timeline for Interstate and International Travel with Animals. What can you do to prepare your pet for ground transport You must always talk to your pet's veterinary about all of his health conditions and characteristics and how that may be impacted by the transportation before shipping your pet. Not used to car rides? If you don't often take your pet in the car, start with short trips to "fun" destinations (such as a dog-friendly park or play area) to help your pet get used to riding in a car. Not used to be in a crate? If your pet is not used to be in a crate, u must train him days before transportation to be in a crate in hour house, by placing him a cupule of hour a day. If your pet gets car sick, talk to your veterinarian about alternate traveling suggestions or medications to keep them comfortable. According to the AVMA Policy: Transport of Dogs in Motor Vehicles Pets will not be allowed to ride with their heads outside the window. Dirt and other debris can enter their eyes, ears and nose and cause injury or infection. Pets will not be allowed to ride on the driver's lap or near the driver's feet or loose on car seats or vehicle trunk. Providing a familiar blanket and/or safe toy can help make your pet more comfortable during the trip. We never leave your pet in vehicle unattended. Vehicle is climatized and we adjust it too the climatization needs requested in writing on the acclimation certificate of your pet. What should your pet bring for the trip? Veterinarian's contact information Pet Identification Current color photo of your pet ID tag should include: The microchip registration should be updated with your current contact information including a cell phone number. Medical Records Current copies of your pet's medical records including pre-existing conditions and medications (especially when re-locating or traveling out of the country). For travel within the United States, a brief summary of medical conditions would be sufficient. Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (health certificate) Proof of vaccinations (Proof of rabies vaccination required) and other illnesses !!!!!!!!!!!!!Travel and short-nosed dogs!!!!!!!!!!!! In July 2010, the U.S. Department of Transportation released statistics that showed short-nosed breeds of dogs—such as pugs, Boston Terriers, boxers, some mastiffs, Pekingese, Lhasa Apsos, Shih tzus and bulldogs—are more likely to die on airplanes/surface transportation than dogs with normal-length muzzles. Veterinarians have long known that short-nosed – the technical term is brachycephalic – dog breeds are more prone to respiratory problems under normal circumstances, and not just during air travel. The situation is worsened if the dog is overweight or obese. There are many things you can do, including: Keep your pet healthy and at a normal weight. Pets with underlying medical conditions may be more likely to have problems during transport. Elderly and obese pets may also be at higher risk. Getting your pet used to its traveling crate can really reduce stress while traveling Although it can be comforting to your pet to have a familiar-smelling item in its travel crate, avoid thick blankets, fluffy towels or cloth items that your pet can wrap itself or bury its nose in – this could increase the risk of respiratory problems. A very thin blanket or flat newspaper is best for lining the crate. If you have a short-nosed breed of dog, ask your veterinarian about your pet's respiratory health and what precautions you can take to minimize the risks for your pet if he has any health condition that has been recommended for surgery in the pass we don't recommend traveling with pet till you take care of it. We strongly recommend that you avoid tranquilizing your pet for air travel, because it can increase your pet's risk of injury and health problems. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TERMS AND CONDITIONS YOU MUST ACEEPT BEFFORE BOOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please read terms & conditions before submitting you request We provide only 5 star certified crash proof crates, offering extra safety and a comfortable/private enclosed area with adequate size for your pet where he can stand, turn around, and lay naturally (a crate with excessive space relative to your pet size may lead to injures during ground transportation). All crates have water drainage system (for better cleaning/sanitation) and most offer dedicated ventilation and private light. All pets must be at least 8 weeks of age to be ground transported. The individual requesting or arranging for transport certifies that the pet being transported by PET WAY is at least 8 weeks of age on or before transport pick-up date. Your pet must be healthy and at a normal weight. Pets with underlying medical conditions may be more likely to have problems during transport. Elderly and obese pets may also be at higher risk and in these cases PETWAY Courier has the right to refuse trip or reschedule trip. We strongly recommend that you avoid tranquilizing your pet for travel, because it can increase your pet's risk of injury and health problems. We don't recommend shipping any pets within 48 hours after shoots or other medicine with the risk of causing secondary effects to the pet. For short-nosed dogs and cats the last 2 points must be taken into extra attention before trip. Please have the Emergency Care Authorization questions box check when requesting trip on this website, Rabies certificates (just for pets more than 16 weeks) available when your pet is picked up A valid health certificate issued by a doctor of veterinary medicine is required by some states no sooner than 15 days before the scheduled delivery date and the certificate must travel with the pet. Scheduling Pick-up and Delivery: You will be given a 3-day window of time for pickup and delivery. Pickup or delivery may be outside of normal business hours to keep on schedule and to meet your needs. We cannot guarantee specific pickup and delivery dates and times, especially on our shared rides. All dates for pickup and delivery are approximate. We will make every effort to meet the dates specified by you, but there can be unforeseeable circumstances which affect the dates given for transport which can include weather, road conditions, acts of God, etc. If no person is present at the time of transport and/or the above-described paperwork is not in order at the time of pick-up or delivery, we may have to continue without your pet. You may have to assume part of costs or booking fee. Emergency Care Authorization gives us permission to take your pet to a qualified veterinarian in the event they become ill during transport. We will make every effort to contact you prior to seeking emergency action. However, if you cannot be reached to have medical emergency treatment approved by you, we will use our discretion to ensure the well-being and health of your pet. You have to accept and be comfortable with the fact, the handler/driver may have to take photos and videos, with audio, featuring the individuals/parties and pets evolve with the transportation, as updates and to communicate the condition and wellbeing of the pets along the journey, some may be published on social media, group messages and or be used as proof of delivery or pickup. Scheduling - Length of Transport. You understand that there is no guarantee or promise made as to the length of time necessary to complete the transport of your pet. The duration of transport is determined by routing, weather, and traffic conditions and could potentially last up to 6 days for long cross country trips 3000 plus miles on shared rides due to delays. While this is rare, all efforts will be made to keep you informed and to keep your pet as comfortable and happy as possible. We provide transport services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be provided with estimated pick up and delivery dates. We will make every effort to arrive at convenient times, however, scheduling changes and unforeseen delays beyond our control may occur. DELIVERY. We will make every reasonable attempt to notify the person receiving the pet of our estimated time of arrival. If no one is available to receive the animal and/or we are unable to contact the responsible party, there will be a daily fee of $150 per pet for the cost of care and boarding. The party ordering the transport will be responsible for these charges. We recommend that alternate arrangements be made in the event the person responsible for receiving the animal is unable to do so. The receiving party must be available 24 hours a day. Cancelations 3 days before pick up may be subject to a 250$ fee or a rebooking fee PET WAY courier reserves the right to refuse transport of any pet due to misrepresentation at the time of scheduling as to the pet's ability to walk or stand of its own accord, or on a leash, and is of a size and weight that one person is able to pick up and carry. You can only bring along with your pet only a small bag with pet food, toys, bedding and any supplements/medications. We do not carry privately owned pet's crates, or dog houses for cats and dogs on shared rides, except when pet is being shipped to air transportation, and except for birds and other exotic pets. We do not carry along your cat's own litter box, we provide one. All pets are checked every 4 hours. Pictures, videos and updates will be sent at least once or more a day. Crates are sanitized once or more a day (we use pet friendly and certified products only) Adult dogs are walkout 3 or more times a day. Dogs with anxiety or advanced age get extra exercise time and walks a day. Puppies less than 16 weeks will not be walkout on public spaces. We proved extra exercise in a fenced mobile area set up in safe and clean ground only for lager puppy breads). Small breed puppies may be relocating do a sanitized larger transition crate for extra exercise (All surfaces are sanitized every 12 hours, including all crate's interior surfaces and door, food, water receptacles) Cat liter will be set up in crate, we provide litter box (we do not carry your pet's own litter box aboard in sheared rides) Driver will share live GPS tracking link along the trip, starting before pick up till delivery (due to network restriction this link may not during some periods) Driver will send updates via text message with pic and videos and voice messages at least once or more a day. Driver may not answer your call or text right away for being busy, due safety reasons, due brake time, due providing pet care/pet walks (please be comprehensive, cause driver is under big responsibility on hands, and need to be very focused) Updates and times will be provided by driver when he has that information updated with more accuracy, and it may be subject to changes due several factors. Please consider using the GPS tracking link to help you predict arrival date and time) Pet handler/driver must wash and sanitize hands before and after handling any pets. Covid-19 guidelines must be followed by driver/handler and any individuals interacting with transportation.

I was initially hesitant about transporting my pet via Petway, but Miguel’s communication leading up to and during the trip was great. He answered pretty much every question and sent me pictures during Betty’s travel. The only question that remained unanswered was if he stays at hotels to sleep along the way and leaves the pets in the van or he brings them along. I know he does most of his travel by night while they sleep. I would definitely use him again for future travels.
