Everything shipper told me led me to believe my shipment would arrive in 48 hours of pickup. The shipper was delayed three days due to a snowstorm which I was fine with but then said they were picking up around noon. They didn't arrive until 7:30 pm. Then they said the dog that was picked up in Indiana had to go to PA, CT, Buffalo NY, Maine and then on to me. I asked if I could pick up in PA and they agree to a location. I was told be there between 5-6 pm. They he changed it to 7 pm, then he was late another hour and a half. So dog was in transport for 3 days and would have been in a crate for 5 days, had I not gone to pick her up. When she arrived she had poop on her and was absolutely terrified. Since trip should take 10 and a half hours was expecting her to arrive in two days not three. I was not happy with the communication as I had to constantly get in touch with the driver as the driver did not inform me when he picked up, as I was led to believe he would, nor were there any in route pictures until he was an hour and a half away. I was told that it was customary to tip the driver on top of the payment which I felt was within the normal range, not excessive but the trip length was. The lack of communication had me very stressed. Now I have bred dogs and shipped dogs since 1980 by both ground and air and have shipped all over the US, to Japan, Brazil and the Czech Republic. This was the most stressful shipment and erratic shipment I had ever had. I was told that pick up and drop off were by booking date, but if that was the case the dogs picked up after my pickup should have had to wait for drop off and my drop off should have been before the pickups in CT, Buffalo and Maine. I would have to say that I could not recommend this shipper as I was very disappointed in the service, or should I say, lack of service. I am sorry this review is so long and so negative and that is NOT my nature but this was a very bad experience for me, Thank God my dog was ok and is settling in well.

I am beyond thankful and grateful I came across this website and more importantly accepted Teonnas Travels bid and hired her to transport my Lil’ Ladies (cats) to me. I HIGHLY recommend choosing her for your fur kids travels! No one was able to be at my house when my Ladies were getting picked up. With out incident Karen was able let herself in, crate my Ladies and get them into her car. For my Ladies not knowing Karen previously, they obviously felt her amazing energy and were comfortable enough to be handled and crated (they had never been crated before) and go with a stranger with out dramatics. To be honest, I did not think it would go so smoothly. But it did and the ease of this situation made me extremely comfortable and thankful I chose Teonnas Travels! Karen picked them up around 1pm. She stopped around 930 for the night to sleep and to allow my Ladies to eat and stretch their legs. I was told exactly where they were and sent a photo of my Ladies checking out the hotel room. It rained on their whole drive down (1100 miles of rain!!!) and still got here safely and in great time! My Ladies litter box was not transported because my roommate didn’t have time to clean it properly (though now looking back I am sure Karen would have if I had asked) I hadn’t had time to get one until they were very close to arriving. I believe Karen could sense my anxiety and told me not to rush out to get one. I could have the one that was in the crate with them. She also left me with the water and food bowls and the extra dry food she bought for the trip! This was the first time my Ladies have been in a car and stayed somewhere other than home and it went great! Karen treated my Ladies as her own fur kids and I can tell this experience was just fine for them! One last thing I appreciated is that when Karen arrived with my Ladies she did what was needed to to help get them inside. Said her goodbyes and left. As much as I wanted to chit chat with her and get to know her more she realized the need for me to initially have my time with my Ladies since it had been a month since we had been together. She even text me this morning checking in! If ever needed again I will 100% use Teonnas Travels and urge you to choose her! I might even hire her to drive me across country sometime! Thank you Karen. Outstanding service and extremely accommodating! My family had an unfortunate experience with our original dog shipper, in which he never showed up. We had a no-wiggle-room flight plan, which made the situation extremely stressful. K & K was not only able to respond to a last minute post, but drive 4 hours out of the way to help my furry family out. Only because I struggle with giving people 1 star and she hasn’t been rude but Heather hasn’t even picked up my dog as planned at 7:00 AM for 1-2 PM today and it’s now 8:40PM. I don’t trust that she’s handling these transports properly and though she might not be endangering the animals she seems to be picking up every job she can between here and there and not communicating time but simply taking every job to make money and disregarding the schedule/plan she had in place for picking up my dog and getting her to Baton Rouge. At this point I’d rather a refund than to send my dog with her and her inability to be detailed in communicating times and adhering to it. She’s been kind in how she responds but she’s riddled with excuses and for someone who proclaims to have 30+ years experience doing this, she should have a better ability to manage time and plan for delays. I’m grossly dissatisfied and would simply like my $800 ($847 after tax) back from her. Not to mention a $160 booking fee for a transport that won’t happen.
