Hello! I'm Devin J. Sherwood and I am a truck driver by trade! I drove for motor carriers for years, but wanted more control over when and where I went. That's why I decided to start V.I.Pet Express based out of Knoxville, Tn! As a truck driver for years and pet owner for decades, I am no stranger to the long haul with pets in tow. Also coming into our 3rd year if business with over 200 bookings here, and more than 500 dogs transported in total, there is nothing we haven't seen or can't handle! As well, I know that moving a pet is stressful for everyone involved. Thats why every trip includes constant gps location sharing for the whole duration so that you can check your pets whereabouts at any time you wish, plus photo updates at every break as proof of care to put your mind at ease! *All dogs 12 weeks and under are required to be transported via no ground/no floor policy to prevent illness, and to maintain a sanitary ride. Horse pellet bedding will be added to the carrier, and replaced as needed, but they will not be walked. Toys may be provided if you wish to do so. *Cats will not be permitted to leave their carriers for the duration of the trip. All cats regardless of size must ride in an XXL carrier to provide adequate room for the litter box and living space. Litter will be cleaned as needed. *All specialized diet plans will be followed if I am notified about them! *Please message before booking to see if I am available. I place many bids in the areas I'm heading to. *All equipment is cleaned and sanitized between each drop off and the next pick up. No animals will be allowed outside the vehicle without a leash. *A 40% deposit of agreed upon total is due at booking via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. The remaining balance is to be paid before the pet will be released at drop-off, and can be paid via cash as well.

Devin is awesome! He truly cares about the well being of your pet. He not only shared GPS location throughout the whole trip he also sent picture updates. I had my 8 week old Australian shepherd puppy delivered from Tennessee to California. Devin really helped my worries with all the updates and pictures. Our puppy was given a toy , food and water along the way. Definitely recommending him to anyone looking for transportation services. Reliable , fast and best affordable price out there . What a wonderful person. We had our hands full with moving 2,000 miles with 2 dogs and 4 cats. He took our cats across country and then graciously took care of them until we got there too. I can not praise him enough.

Devin was generally quick to respond and very communicative about his progress across the country. He is a nice guy and it seemed my dog was very comfortable with him right away. No one offered a better price and the pickup was seamless and easy!

Amazing work and transparency on transporting our dad’s dog Radar from UT to AL after his passing. Devin was so caring and great to work with and we appreciate everything he did to help us through a difficult situation and made this one thing so easygoing!! Would highly recommend to anyone!!
