Hello! I'm Devin J. Sherwood and I am a truck driver by trade! I drove for motor carriers for years, but wanted more control over when and where I went. That's why I decided to start V.I.Pet Express based out of Knoxville, Tn! As a truck driver for years and pet owner for decades, I am no stranger to the long haul with pets in tow. Also coming into our 3rd year if business with over 200 bookings here, and more than 500 dogs transported in total, there is nothing we haven't seen or can't handle! As well, I know that moving a pet is stressful for everyone involved. Thats why every trip includes constant gps location sharing for the whole duration so that you can check your pets whereabouts at any time you wish, plus photo updates at every break as proof of care to put your mind at ease! Every bid includes an optional but free pre-delivery grooming session followed up with a spritz in Earthbath Lavender or Vanilla Almond deodorizer, as well as a nail trimming! (This is great for helping breeders make a fantastic impression and gain word of mouth advertisement!) 📷📷 Introducing our newest service: we are now offering professional photos of your pet! For an additional $50, you can now purchase a photo package in which we will find stunning views for highlights of your dogs' trip! See your pet in amazing quality with incredible back drops, such as towering mountains, ancient desert canyons, or stunning ocean views! (May add up to 1 hour to total travel time. Driver will not divert more than 30 miles from any planned route. All photos can be provided as samples with a watermark upon request, and are provided via email. Editing and producing final results may take up to 2 weeks) *All dogs 12 weeks and under are required to be transported via no ground/no floor policy to prevent illness, and to maintain a sanitary ride. Horse pellet bedding will be added to the carrier, and replaced as needed, but they will not be walked. Toys may be provided if you wish to do so. *Cats will not be permitted to leave their carriers for the duration of the trip. All cats regardless of size must ride in an XXL carrier to provide adequate room for the litter box and living space. Litter will be cleaned as needed. *All specialized diet plans will be followed if I am notified about them! *Please message before booking to see if I am available. I place many bids in the areas I'm heading to. *All equipment is cleaned and sanitized between each drop off and the next pick up. No animals will be allowed outside the vehicle without a leash. *A 40% deposit of agreed upon total is due at booking via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or CashApp. The remaining balance is to be paid before the pet will be released at drop-off, and can be paid via cash as well.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Devin. He was our absolute hero this past week. My brother is suffering from terminal cancer and we were desperate to find a new home for his beloved dog. He lives in SC and we live in CO. We struggled with how to get the dog (Jax) safely to Colorado without adding even more trauma to his already very confusing situation. This is where Devin came to our rescue. He picked Jax up at my brother’s house and delivered him to ours in 2 days. He stayed in touch with us the entire time…both through a live gps link and through photos and videos during their journey. He provided many breaks and always made sure Jax felt comfortable and loved. This experience was simply amazing and I would recommend Devin to anyone, anytime without hesitation. Six out of five stars!

Devin was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. He kept in contact with us throughout the trip and delivered our dog safely and on time. We don't plan on moving for a long time. But if we do, I would contact Devin directly to transport our dog.
