Hello! I'm Devin J. Sherwood and I am a truck driver by trade! I drove for motor carriers for years but wanted more control over when and where I went. That's why I decided to start V.I.Pet Express based out of Knoxville, Tn! I chose not to use a cargo van because I don't feel any one person could give each pet the attention they deserve while carrying 7-10 at a time. I instead drive the reliable and age tested Toyota Sienna, as well as the luxurious Chrysler Pacifica that could each fit up to 5 XL pet carriers, plus two mediums. However, by transporting only 2-4 pets at a time, I can give each of them more space during the trip, as well as more individual care! As a truck driver for years and pet owner for decades, I'm no stranger to the long haul with a pet in transit! A typical day consists of 16 hours of driving, divided into 4 hour legs with a 15-20 minute break for each pet in between. I know that moving a pet is stressful for everyone involved. Thats why every trip includes constant gps location sharing for the whole duration so that you can check your pets whereabouts at any time you wish, plus photo updates at every break as proof of care to put your mind at ease! Every bid includes an optional but free pre-delivery grooming session followed up with a spritz in Earthbath Lavender or Vanilla Almond deodorizer, as well as a nail trimming! (This is great for helping breeders make a fantastic impression and gain word of mouth advertisement!) *Introducing our newest service: we are now offering professional photos of your pet! For an additional $50, you can now purchase a photo package in which we will find stunning views for highlights of your dogs' trip! See your pet in amazing quality with incredible back drops, such as towering mountains, ancient desert canyons, or stunning ocean views! (May add up to 1 hour to total travel time. Driver will not divert more than 30 miles from any planned route. All photos can be provided as samples with a watermark upon request, and are provided via email. Editing and producing final results may take up to 2 weeks) *All specialized diet plans will be followed if I am notified about them! *Please message before booking to see if I am available. I place many bids in the areas I'm heading to. *All equipment is cleaned and sanitized between each drop off and the next pick up. No animals will be allowed outside the vehicle without a leash. *A 40% deposit of agreed upon total is due at booking via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, and Chime. The remaining balance is to be paid before the pet will be released at drop-off, and can be paid via cash as well.

Devin was super communicative the whole trip! My cats were obviously stressed about the long drive, and I could tell he really cared about their well being. When one of my cats wasn't eating her food he went as far to make stops to pick up things he hoped she would eat to make sure she was okay. I made an offhand remark about how the only people food she likes is tuna, and he picked up a can which got her to eat!! They arrived safely and are very happy to be home! Would 100% recommend.
