My whole experience from beginning to end, was amazing! She had my dog here quickly, safely, and treated her like a Queen. She got treats, lots of food and water, etc. All her belongings were kept together and arrived perfectly. Pam drove the whole day and three-quarters of the night to get her to me. She was so flexible with timing and even stuck around when we had complications with pick up in the other state. Updates were frequent and informative. Not to mention, Pam is a sweetheart! If I could give them 6 stars I would. As anyone would be, I was initially skeptical on giving my puppy to a stranger to drive all the way across the country (NJ to CA). However, even upon inquiring, Risa gave me a call to answer all of my questions and erase any doubts. Her process is very professional. There was constant communication from day of pickup all throughout the journey, including pics and videos. She made great time driving my dog across the country as well. Only took 4 days! I'm usually not one to make reviews on people; however, I felt it was important to share my experience. M&M came off as professional, answering my questions and concerns regarding a long trip for a misunderstood breed. We had trust in the process and them, but the process got out of hand quickly when it came around to picking her up. Although they answered calls and messages quickly, their timing was very inaccurate and caused a lot of stress. We were first given an estimated pick-up on a Sunday morning; we were then updated with a 730pm pick-up for Monday after calling for an update from them because nothing was received. A few hrs later, I see they're nowhere near pickup time originally updated for 730pm, and then it changed again to 1130pm. This was very frustrating, and while I understand traffic and needing to make stops, it's a big difference between date and time. After pickup, my nerves settled as I got pictures and videos. On arrival nearly four days later, the first thing we see is our dog covered in blood swipes. Of course, my first thought was that a dog fight broke out, with my pitbull. Turns out she had gnawed on her tail and opened it, but on the day of arrival, we had just found out. If they had reached out, we would have suggested muzzling her so that more damage was not done; as we are still dealing with the clean-up of its reopening and putting her in a cone of shame. We also learned that they threw out belongings because she had pooped on them but were not told until they were about to pull away after I inquired. They were parked, getting ready to leave when I had gone up and asked where the precious belongings were and were laughed off as she had pooped on them and thrown them away... If I had known I would've insisted they bag them and let us wash them, as they couldn't have added to the smell or caused harm for other animals in the vehicle. Like I said these were precious belongings to the family. I understand we get what we paid for, but I also found by looking at previous video and picture footage closer that her tail had been open by at least Tuesday evening to the morning of arrival and it's irritating that I was not told and very stressful for her. I'll end with, it was a God move to have accidentally not grabbed the extra cash we had set aside for tips after this experience.

Unbelievable service, but not in a good way. I booked Dawg Gone Pet to transport my brother's dog from Iowa to Maine. My brother passed away and we are taking over the care of Wishtan. I booked them due to their great reviews so I'm still confused why my experience went so poorly. Wishtan was picked up in Iowa around 7:30 am on Thursday. My friend texted me to tell me that Wishtan was picked up, I didn't hear anything from Dawg Gone Pet until 1:45 pm (after I emailed them) when they sent me the GPS link to track the driver. They only sent me the link, never told me the driver's name. I texted back at 3:30 pm asking who the driver was and there was no response until 6 pm. Danielle told me that updates were every 6-12 hours per the contract. I told her I never received a contract in my inbox or spam box. It was immediately "resent" to me I was completely fine with receiving updates every 6-12 hours because you can check the GPS tracking at any time and see the location of the driver and your pup. The problem was that I never received updates every 6-12 hours. There was one time I checked in the response was "There's not much to report he's eating & drinking & sleeping" I responded with "That report might not mean anything to you but it means everything to me." You would think communication would get better after that but it didn't. At one point when I checked the tracking the one driver. Taylor had 56 phone usages, 7 hard brakings at that point. I was scared to death for my dog's safety. The first picture of my dog was sent on Friday night at 5:31 pm. On Saturday morning, I receive a text saying that the ETA would be after 5 pm and they would know a better time once they made it thru NYC. I watched Wendy (new driver at this point) on the GPS tracking. She was in MA and had been thru NYC for awhile and I still hadn't heard any updates. So I texted and asked for an update. Danielle told me to click on Wendy's name and it would tell me the ETA. Which I clearly knew since I had been following her all day long. The problem was that I didn't know the lineup for Wishtan's drop off so the ETA wasn't accurate. Danielle's reply was "she has to let the dogs out too and go to the bathroom, potty breaks are every 3 hours." That has nothing to do with it taking over 15 hours from the time she texted me on Saturday morning to the time Wendy actually dropped Wishtan off at my house. Wishtan drank 3 bowls of water immediately. I was very concerned last night but after a relaxing day he has seemed to perk back up to his normal self. The only reason I can give them a 1 star is because Wishtan was delivered to me. The whole experience was a nightmare and very stressful on top of an emotional situation of needing to bring Wishtan to Maine. If you are looking to book with Dawg Gone Pet Transport, I would make sure you get the contract before booking, understand all the details of the route, and know that you may not receive amazing updates like the reviews say.

Pickup dates (2 consecutive, possible days) agreed upon - then I didn’t hear back regarding a pickup time, so I reached out, having a deadline to have my dog moved, and only then did someone say that their driver broke down on the west coast. When I asked when my dog would be picked up, the response was non-committal - they had no idea when pickup could / would happen (‘maybe’ in another 3-5 days, maybe not), so I had to find an alternate transporter (who was professional and amazing!) Unfortunately, Rollin 4 Paws got snappy and rude about the situation, and also kept $50 of my 50% down - very unprofessional all the way around - I was concerned from initial texts after booking, and turns out my bad feelings were warranted. This is the ONLY shipper on this platform that I have ever had an issue with.

So, I have been watching the reviews for Rodney pile up. I asked him all along why are these reviews and sworn statements coming through? In the back of my mind, “You are scamming people!? WTF.” People that put money and faith in you to take care of who is dear to their heart and get them their safely. No, no, no, Rodney says. He says to me it’s disgruntled customers trying to ruin him. Threatening him and his family. I know this was never true. Okay - WHAT? These people hired you to do what you advertised. You spent their money and my savings to do (I don’t know and )… NOT WHAT YOU WERE HIRED / PAID/ CONTRACTED TO DO! I hope I am the last one with a story like mine and like all of you. Although I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, similar testimonies help - My bank is looking in to my case because this treatment is considered fraud. So, here’s my story. I booked Rodney, signed a contract- paid him in full. (4/20/2022) for puppy (9 weeks old) transport from Oklahoma to Arizona (4/26/22). No show, no call, no pick up.? So, in hindsight, what I assume is he gave me false dates — THREE TIMES!!! First, a delivery reschedule in May -!Because, I gave him the benefit of the doubt due to his mentioned hardships & family tragedies. (I Lost my mother recently so,…you know). I insisted on rescheduling - he did. (Going on 1 1/2 months now!) June 5! Texted him several times. Finally answered late afternoon on, what? JUNE 5! Acted surprised when I called to confirm. I’ve paid for two health certificates since (he forgot he even gave me his word he obligated a date (June 5)! He acted super inconvenienced when I asked if he is showing up to pick up my dog. Tells me he can do nothing until July 1st (anything! Move animals! Give me back my money! ANYTHING!) Come to find out, he kept booking the people who posted the last three reviews. Continuing with his idea of service was already out of the question. But, this was his intent. Now even more so that I see he just continues and that it’s a scam. The breeder and myself lost confidence in Rodney long ago, really. I felt sick I gave him these chances to do right. I will not put the life of my pup in his hands and my breeder concurred. I am amazed that since he had so many no-show, no-call, (no-cancel- so he - can try to keep my money I suppose?!) for me that he continued to book others, or allowed to use the platform to continue to book. I see they locked his account - but I'm baffled how he booked for June when for what Ive been through- he never intended to deliver. I'm upset at the number of people,…& the money I saved for my puppy misused. She should be here already. And, the unnecessary costs are brutal. They were a day late picking up the puppy BUT I was late arriving to give them the puppy once they arrived. Very friendly with myself as well as the person the puppy was going to. Sent pictures and gave regular updates and always very punctual sending texts when I asked how she was doing. They took fantastic care of the puppy and I would definitely use them again.
