I was a bit concerned about John's level of communication when I first booked with him. However, as the pick up date for our sweet pup got closer, he was quick to respond and follow up with all questions and concerns. He did not have GPS tracking throughout the trip; but, this was not an issue, as he sent several pictures and updates. I always felt comfortable that our pup, Smokey, was in safe hands and doing well! He also arrived promptly and as scheduled. Smokey seemed to love him....and his wife, Dee Dee ? DO NOT HIRE 203 Transportation !!!! I selected 1-3 day option on Oct 15th .Was quoted $800 from NE to NC. 203 Transportation assured me after receiving $400 (50%) payment deposit that he would begin his route from Fl on the 19th and I would have my puppy by the end of the week . I received numerous excuses and decided to cancel and was threatened with a cancellation fee of $200 for cancelling because 203 Transportation elects to maximize his route and travel from Maine to California then back to NC before delivering my Puppy . NE to NC is 1 days travel. Didn’t receive my puppy until Oct 30th. 15days after paying this guy . This guy will sweet talk you to get your 50% deposit than give you the run around while he books every trip he can headed to you . And, if you attempt to cancel on home he will deduct $200 cancelation fee. Which I never agree to any cancelation fee. He drives a 25 year old van with looks like a 4 foot work trailer . Not sure if my pup every received a potty break since he was soaked in urine and smelled awful. So, again . If you want to pay too dollar, get your pet soaked in urine 15 days later after Receiving multiple excuses this is your guy . I frankly would never use him or Citizenshipper ever again .

All dogs arrived and appropriate condition for a trip of this length. When I need to ship again this will be the transporter I will contact. From the moment I began our business agreement to bring my daughters dog Guiness from Seattle to Billings, MT, I felt like I was contracting a high-quality company. Mike answered all of our questions completely and quickly. It was Gwen who picked up Guiness at Seattle Airport, right on time, and made what could have been a confusing rendezvous seamless and easy. Despite a surprise mechanical problem with her truck on the way to Billings, Gwen was in constant contact with us advising of the situation. Unfortunately, this trip was marked by miscommunication, a break down, and accusations that I was attempting to avoid paying for the transport. My dog did not arrive in good condition; evidently, she had an accident in her bed but she was left to lie in it for the trip, until "team 2" threw it in the back of their pick up due to the smell. However, the dog wasn't even cleaned off or wiped down. I consider cleanliness a pretty basic service to provide when transporting a dog. I was given short notice of her pick up and didn't happen to be at home, so I rushed to meet the pick up team and my dog, who is 12 years old, and may have felt anxious. She was picked up Wednesday evening and arrived Saturday evening. The drop-off team wanted me to pay them directly, so I contacted the owner to see how she wanted the final payment and she didn't respond right away (it was close to 11 by the time I got home and so didn't expect an answer right away). In the meantime, the drop-off team began to threaten me with police, court, etc. When I had confirmation about what the owner wanted, I paid her the full price, despite the delays and the condition I found my dog when I got home. I picked up my dog at a gas station, so it was very dark and I didn't get a good look until I got home. My dog drank so much water when at the gas station and at home that I suspect she was dehydrated. I believe that the company and the drivers were trying to get my dog delivered as soon as possible after the first team broke down, but the experience was marred by disorganization and communication problems. In the end, there were apologies made, but I still felt let down by the experience (especially the threats that were so unnecessary). I will be much more diligent in my research if I choose to try transporting my dog again.

DO NOT HIRE! NEGATIVE 3200 STARS because I LOST $3200 hiring this company. Joe was hired to tow our boat and never showed. He said we had to pay a deposit before pickup, charged us $1500 payment in full and he said "My office made a mistake so you paid in full" He did not give the money back. We lost more money hoisting the boat out of the water at the marina 3 times due to Joe scheduling with the marina a pick up and did not show, saying he had truck trouble. Joe said he refunded our money and sent a screen shot to us and CitizenShipper but the money never went into my account. Many Red Flags, I was told by another trucking company: NEVER GIVE MONEY UP FRONT! Citizen Shipper refunded $250 which we had to pay them to use their site, where the say the screen all the truckers, THEY DO NOT SCREEN THEIR TRANSPORTERS OR STAND BEHIND YOU AS A CUSTOMER.

James took excellent care of my fur baby. I was so nervous in sending Frodo 1/2 way across the country with a stranger. Frodo is not a very social dog, in fact, he’s a one person dog. The minute he met James he was ready to go on his big adventure. James sent me photos and a location map at each stop and in the evening text me with a summary of their day. James was so professional and kind to me and Frodo. So much so, I have already scheduled him for Frodo transport back home. He deserves a 10 star out of 10 from me!

Every day she sends us messages and videos and photos etc. We were so relieved to have our dog with her. She was very obliging and helped us with a lot of consideration, which was very touching. Because this care is from a stranger. I'm so happy for the dog that she met Talisa, it's a choice you won't regret and I'm still willing to contact Talisa if there is another trip.
