Overall C&D got my pets to their destination safe. I am not certain they are appropriate for larger pets. I'll admit my girls are a handful...but this is expected of young energetic dogs of their size and breed (Weims). There was a moment they told me that they opened the back and had to chase the girls down and if it weren't for a fence they would not have caught them. One of them fell during the ordeal and I felt horrible and compensated her for the trouble. My dogs arrived soiled in feces due to them not wanting to stop and let them out. Again my girls made it...but not without complications that could have been prevented. This is the 4th time I've shipped my pets and not had any issue like this.

This is a tough review because although the actual transport of the boat went well the scheduling did not. The original pick up date was April 1st in the AM. We received a message on April 1st telling us there was a problem and the pick up wouldn't be until on the 2nd. Fortunately we were able to be flexible and agreed to the change. The new pick time was 8:30 - 9am. Then we received another message stating they ran into traffic and wouldn't be there until 4pm. The actual time ended up being 7pm. When they left we were told the delivery would take place the next day around 7pm. We had a friend set up on the other to receive the boat, confirm no damage and I would make the final payment. Around 3pm we received a message telling us they wouldn't get there until midnight. They wanted to just send us pictures or a video confirming all was good and expected immediate payment. They wouldn't unhook without payment. I was not asking our friend to be there at midnight. This was not realistic and I was not comfortable looking a pictures taken in the dark. Fortunately, I was able to find a neighbor who met them at 12:45am and received the boat and confirmed everything was in good shape. I then issued payment, at 1am and they left. They are very nice people and I do believe some of this was out of their control. But I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't had the flexibility with our schedule or been able to find someone to meet them. I against better judgement was going to let them send me send me pictures but was so uncomfortable with it that I pursued finding someone to meet them.

When it came time to pick up there was no communication with myself or the breeder that she wouldn’t even be able to pick him up. She may have been a good carrier, but terrible communicator and now I understand why she came in with a bid much lower than others.

This was my first time using citizen shipping and the initial shipper I was going to go with was a no show and left me waiting with no prior communication. Billy came to my rescue and he and his son William were able to safely and securely transport my scooter from Baltimore to Myrtle Beach. I was provided with GPS tracking updates along the way. Our initial pick up time was rescheduled and pushed out due to some unforeseen issues with the uhaul trailer rental. Other than some hiccups with estimated arrival times, Billy and his son were very kind and helpful people. They arrived very late on Easter Sunday (last night), due to a bit of a late start that morning and my parents in Myrtle Beach provided their guest room for them to stay in along with a late dinner and breakfast the following morning. At the start, Lynn and Lolo were great. They were more than willing to hop on the phone with us and talked to us for 30 minutes about their experience and how they handle dogs on the road which eased our anxieties as first time users of citizen shipper. They have great reviews about their communication and service so we decided to move forward. However, shortly after the trip began, they experienced a family emergency. Instead of telling us the situation, their communication became spotty and they had odd excuses for delays and where they were which was concerning. As it turned out, they admitted on the second day (the day our dog was supposed to arrive), that they essentially had not yet started the trip which was scary and frustrating. They also seemed confused as to where they were which added to our anxiety. Once everything was settled and they started the trip the second time though, their communication became much better, sending frequent updates, pictures, and answering our every call. To their credit, they drove through the night to return our puppy as quickly as possible which was appreciated. All told, a two day trip took four days and while we saw the amazing service and communication many of the other reviews on here indicated, it was only after a very scary start to the trip. I believe they are good people who love animals who were overwhelmed by the family emergency but I hope next time they are more upfront about what is going on.

J.P. Transporters did an amazing job picking up and transporting my dog on very short notice. I posted my need for a transporter and my dog was picked up within 24 hours. It was a 12 hour nonstop drive to the drop-off location after pick up. I was kept informed of my dog's well-being during their entire entire voyage down the East Coast. He was given a comfortable place to relax during transport, was taken for frequent bathroom breaks, and was provided water as needed. The entire process was made easy and seamless for me and everyone else involved. And most importantly, it was stress-free for my dog. I would definitely hire J.P. Transporters again.

If you or anyone you know needs a reliable, caring, friendly person with great communication Patsy is the person to hire, not to mention when she says she will be there she is there (unless of course she gets stuck in traffic etc as we never know what could happen).
