I used William to pick up and deliver some furniture that I had purchased from two different individuals who were several hours away from each and several hours away from me. William was willing to take on both pickups as a combined job. He was great!! He communicated well while we negotiated the details of the job, he was fair in his bid, he was on time and professional at the pick up points, and he kept me informed throughout his trip. Upon his arrival at my house, he was friendly and professional while unloading my pieces of furniture. Moreover, he had wrapped my items and packed them in his trailer so that the pieces were well protected during the trip. He even put glass items up front in his SUV. He has a 10x5 trailer that he pulls behind a large suv so he has plenty of room to transport quite a bit. I highly recommend William and would definitely use him again.

She texted every few hours and sent photos. She informed me when she was stopping for stretching and potty breaks. Her bid came in smack in the middle of the range of bids I received. I thought about going with a cheaper bid, but her amazing reviews and the connection I felt when talking with her convinced me to spend a little more and go with her (Amanda), and I am glad I did. I didn't have bad feelings about the other two I considered, but I had a good feeling with Amanda. Totally will use again if I have a need. Will definitely recommend. Absolutely unprofessional and CANCELED delivery 30 MINUTES before she was to pick up a puppy for a 3,000 mile trip from North Carolina to California. Here is the exact text messages between the driver and I, minutes before she was supposed to be at my house. This trip took a ton of planning and it is hard to get a driver for that long of a trip on such short notice. I rarely leave a bad review, but this transporter cost me a lot of extra time, double the money for a new transporter, and I had to keep the clients pup for an extra 3 weeks because that was the only time period she was available to get her puppy. Also CITIZENSHIPPER never got back to me when I reported this and still hasn't returned the fee they charged for me booking with them. ME: Is your ETA still 7AM ME: ? DRIVER: I'm going to have to cancel and I'll let citizenshipper know. Personally I have some health issues that are flared up causing other issues. I'm sorry. I don't expect you to understand because you don't know me. Just accept my apology and I did try to get a replacement. ME: Are you kidding me? You are supposed to be at my house in 30 minutes for a 3 day trip to California. You had to of known before now that you were not going to be at my house at 7:00 a.m. I have already confirmed everything with the new buyers and they are expecting their puppy. This is completely unprofessional. Now I am going to have to pay double to get this puppy to its new home on time. I am a very understanding person just like I was yesterday when you changed the date to today, but not giving me any warning is unacceptable. I got up at 5:30 a.m. got this puppy fed, washed, groomed, and everything ready to go just to find out my time has been wasted. I am going to have to give you a bad review. DRIVER: I'm sorry you feel that way. ME: Like I said I am a very understanding person, if you would have let me know there was a chance that you couldn't make it today it would have at least given me the option to start finding another transporter but instead you let me assume that you were going to be at my house at 7:00 a.m.

The dogs and us are VERY happy with the Platinum Pet Service! Our transporter was a woman named, Tammy, and she was above and beyond. We were moving from California to Wisconsin, and while she drove them she kept in constant contact with us via pictures and text updates along her travels. She also let the dogs out at dog parks and various rest stops along the way, as well as walks and dog-friendly hotels. She also gave them lots of water and a couple bones; the dogs couldn't have been in better care. I highly recommend this service, and Tammy in particular, if you are planning to move and agree that flying with them on the plane is too stressful and problematic.

Power Boats from Orlando

Roberto moved a boat we purchased in Orlando to Lake Tahoe for my family. The trailer of the boat was not in great shape and it had three major problems during the trip. One problem was so difficult, Roberto had to sleep in his truck so that our boat was not left vulnerable on the highway. Each time Roberto just handled the problem and gave me a call to work out the solution, making sure I knew what was going on. It is really important to have a trustworthy driver who can deal with these kind of unanticipated issues because I was powerless to fix them without getting on a plane. I am so glad I paid a bit more than the lowest bid to hire Roberto. In fact, when he did arrive, we paid him 15% extra as a tip for taking on so much extra responsibility. If we ever have anything else to move around the country, we will call Roberto first. Thanks Roberto!

We tend to forget these major things while sitting home waiting on our precious loved ones to arrive. Barbara tries very hard to accommodate you. The first one showed up and did NOT have room in his trailer so he wasted my time. He wanted me to jam my motorcycle next to an ATV. The second one changed the delivery date to the day before I arrived and he had to leave the bike unattended. I tried to explain to him how to LOCK my ignition, he ended up turning the ignition on and KILLING My battery costing me 170.00 for a new one. Use a professional shipper, spend the extra money!!!!!

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! If you try to use this company, you will be WASTING YOUR TIME! Literally!!! I hired this company through CitizenShipper to haul my boat across the country. I had a good 7-10 days or so of availability (meaning it could be picked up at any time) and I chose this company because the other drivers on CitizenShipper are mostly people trying to “fill returning loads”. In other words... if they haul something from California to Florida... they try to book a shipment from in/around Florida (to in/around California) for their drive *back to* California. The problem with this... is if the shipment *TO* Florida gets cancelled... the driver will typically cancel the “returning” shipment *FROM* Florida as well. Needless to say, I didn’t want *my* load being cancelled due to someone *else’s* shipment being cancelled... so I booked Ted and Stan’s towing because they were located just 4 hours from me, and I didn’t think the problem (that I described above) would apply to them as much as a regular trucking company. So anyway... at first, I was told that Edwyn could pick my boat up on Tuesday. So we booked Tuesday. Then he said his load for Monday was cancelled—so now he could pick it up Monday. (Perfect, I thought! Planning a cross country move is stressful and I wanted this boat GONE before we moved. So Monday was even better.) Then on Sunday I get a message stating that they got “caught up” on a load that day... so they wondered if they could push it back to Tuesday again. Totally... no problem. We understand that there are delays. Then Tuesday evening rolls around and we give them a call and 1) they sound confused as to who I am, then 2) tell me that there was an emergency with the driver so they would see if someone else could be dispatched. Mind you... they are 4 HOURS from my location, and the driver continued to “read” my messages without responding (see screenshots)... so by the end of the day... I think there was PLENTY of time to fill us in as to what was going on. When someone finally called us back, they simply told us that they were still looking for a driver. Then we asked for a discount and they said they’d call us back after speaking to someone about that possibility. Not only that... but they had a 3rd party vendor reach out to us... and when we’d try to follow up by calling the number listed for Ted & Stan’s Towing on Google... we kept getting the dispatcher who “doesn’t know anything because she’s just a dispatcher” and can only take a message. So, needless to say... we didn’t use this company after all. In fact, I couldn’t take the risk of this happening with another company so I had to drive the boat across the country, just to drive back before my planned-move across the country. And 2 weeks later... (even though I haven’t officially cancelled the shipment yet) they still haven’t followed up!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Like how are they even still in business? My baby Maltipoo headed home to New York to my mom and he contacted my mom and was always letting her know where they was and how was our Lola doing.
