Zero stars. Long story short, he lost our dog and decided not to tell us until the day after. He left the area and told us lies about the shelter going out to look for him every day. Unfortunately our baby ended up getting hit in the same area he lost him and passed. I highly highly recommend that you DO NOT use this man to transport your pets.

They were unable to pick up our puppy on the date I had given them. They wanted to pick it up and deliver a few days early. The puppy owners would not let anyone get the puppy until it was 8 weeks old which would be on the 16th of April which was the date I stated that it needed to be picked up. Therefore I had to make other arrangements to get our puppy to us. Actually our grandson and his wife are driving to North Carolina to get the puppy for us.

Thomas was an absolutely wonderful driver and companion for my cat, Kiko, who arrived happy and in good spirits today after his journey from New York City. Not only did he send me photos and videos along the way, he was able to hour my mind at ease about Kiko’s overall well-being; that kitty had quite the week. I discovered Kiko had been found yesterday after being lost for over a week- and I was now 800 miles away. Not knowing what to do, I quickly looked for a driver and connected with Thomas, who was able to pick Kiko up THE SAME DAY. I figured it would take days for someone to be able to retrieve Kiko, who was in the care of a foster who found him near an abandoned house. I connected Thomas with the foster, and they were both absolutely wonderful with communicating about how Kiko was doing. Great customer service and very communicative. First time needing a pet transport and was unsure what to expect. Received many calls and texts before, during and after. We had a milk snake and corn snake to transport from Massachusetts to Texas as my son moved out. Not possible to attempt ourselves plus complications of logistics. Jordan and Pets 1st Transport walked me through how to package the snakes for safe transport and maintain temperature controls during trip. The photos in company description of how the pets are transported is accurate. Your pet will ride in comfort like in the photo. Our snakes arrived exactly on time as promised and sent us a photo of the snakes with my son after delivery so I could see everyone was reunited. This was my 1st time using a pet transport service and I cannot express enough how absolutely great it was to work with this family. When all other options for air transport fell flat, the stars aligned and gave us Jessica and Lonnie to just happen to be in the same state for pick up that week. Previous weeks were chaotic and resulting in disappointment after disappointment trying to coordinate and confirm dates with air transport services but I experienced the complete opposite here. You might see “featured” reviews like this all the time for other products or services but I really can’t express enough how much Jason helped me out and how helpful and informative he was in the whole process. He shipped my little puppy Blue to my parents and gave me updates whenever I needed it and provided pictures as well when requested. He went absolutely above and beyond to ease my mind when sending my puppy across country like this (Washington to Wisconsin). I was supposed to have a puppy transported by this business, but the driver showed up with two crates, both of which would not have been appropriate transportation for my dog. One was very small and would not have given my dog any room to move during an overnight transport. The larger one contained old food and the feces of other animals. The breeder sanitized the crate for her, but then the rusted door on it broke. My breeder decided that she wasn't comfortable transporting the dog with the driver; the driver then became verbally abusive and called the police and even accused the breeder of physically assaulting her. However, the driver left before the sheriff's office arrived, so it is possible that there was nothing to report other than that the crates were not up to USDA requirements for transport of an animal between states. I felt confident booking with this shipper since it had such a high rating and multiple excellent reviews, but my experience was certainly not consistent with those reviews. I think the driver was under a lot of stress since she had mentioned to me that she had her father's funeral upcoming and was trying to finish pickups or drop-offs in Florida and Tennessee in addition to mine prior to going to the funeral, so perhaps she was overwhelmed and also overbooked; however, that's not an excuse for bringing unsuitable transport for the animal, throwing the pieces of her rusty crate at the breeder after it fell apart, calling her a "f*cking cunt," or calling the police on her under false pretenses. Alvin was subsequently sure to tell me and the breeder how many of all sorts of animals he transports successfully every week, and that may be true, but that bravado wasn't very helpful in this situation. Thanks to the quick work of my breeder, the dog will be shipped to me by air tomorrow for less than what was the total price quoted by PawLift Pet Taxi, despite that Alvin informed us that she wouldn't be able to ship the dog in a crate of the size she said was appropriate and gave us the parting message "I do 10-15 flights a week. Hope it works out for you." The breeder was able to secure a ride on Four Legged Kids Bus (which uses its own web site so isn't on CitizenShipper, and she says takes excellent care of animals) for $100 less than this business, but I wasn't able to use that shipper since the puppy would have arrived when I would have been on call at my hospital and I was afraid that I would be called into an emergency at the same time the dog was supposed to arrive. While the service provided to all of the other clients of this business may be excellent, let my story be a warning that great ratings and reviews don't make you immune from having an unfortunate experience with any business. This first experience with the "gig economy" will almost certainly be my last.

Natale was AMAZING! Our sweet boy Bobo is a new rescue and a young+spunky puppy. We were really anxious and nervous to leave him with a stranger and have them drive him across the country. When she arrived to pick up Bobo we were immediately at ease. The car was set up with a perfect and safe area for the dog (with seatbelt) and she even brought and extra harness for him. She frequently communicated with us along the journey and kept us posted with sweet pictures of Bobo and updates on their progress.
