I am not sure where to start. I was alerted to an 11 year old Husky in Fort Worth, TX that needed a home or would be dropped at a shelter. I immediately started to work out logistics to get her to me (in Los Angeles) as safely as I could at her age. I ruled out air cargo. Joyce replied to a quote request immediately and we bonded. I had complete trust in her and her partner. Everything went perfect, communication was excellent and she alerted me to a few health issues to have checked out when I get her to her first appointment. Harvey and his wife were so awesome - helped us transport a dog we rescued from a shelter down in TX all the way up to CT. He was such a pleasure to work with, always kept me updated and shared his location. I also got some pictures of the dog along the way. Unfortunately since I’m so far away all I had to go off before adopting her was one picture. That said, I didn’t know what Harvey would be picking up in terms of the dogs disposition etc. He was so great and assured me “she looks like a great dog” and wasn’t at all worried about it which made me feel so good. He’s clearly handled animals and dogs many times before. He made it all the way from TX to CT in two days and gave us a very reasonable price. It seems they took great care of our new dog Lola on the way, and we were so excited to meet her. Nothing but a great experience with HEW Transport. There is a app that he used so you can track the progress I loved that being able to see them travel. They communicated with me throughout the process. My only negative was it looked like the dog kennels had not be cleaned since pick up because they were puppies there were several accidents in each kennel. Maybe that is standard within this type of industry I don’t have a ton of experience with transporters for pets.

My dog loved Jacquelin. She was so sweet and eased all my anxiety by providing constant updates on Blaze, letting me know where they were along the trip, and sending me pictures and videos. When Blaze wouldn't eat, I told her she could offer him something else and she sent a video of them at the McDonald's drive thru picking him up a 10 piece chicken nuggets. My dog was clearly happy when he arrived and kept going back to her for pets. She clearly treated him like her own pet and made sure we didn't have to worry. If you are shipping a live animal, you should definitely let Jacquelin take them for you. You won't have to worry at all. :)
