Before I booked Cali on Monday, she told me she would plan to transport my puppy in flight cabin that Saturday. She called me and told me her plans and even sent me flight confirmation numbers. However, later that week when I had heard nothing from her, I texted and called her. She told me in those conversations of the problems she was having with getting to the puppy since he lived a couple of hours away from the airport. She then said she didn’t have a flight booked and needed another week to get the puppy to me. I told her that since we already had training plans with our puppy, we needed to get him here asap for his training classes. She then told me she might be able to fly to get him the next day but would only be able ti make it to a different airport where I would have to drive a few hours to get him. Again, none of this was agreed upon when I booked her. She is not dependable and not good at sorting through her own schedule. You’re better off going with another transporter.

Before I booked Theodore, I asked him to agree to certain things like not transporting my puppy with any other dogs and just showing up to pick the puppy up at a dependable time since that would be communicated with the breeder. After booking him he then told me that he forgot he would be transporting his own dog with my puppy. Then on the morning of the transport he texted me that his car window was busted out. He didn’t say anything about if he would still be able to transport my puppy. He never cancelled with me or the breeder so I assumed he would still be picking the puppy up that afternoon. The breeder got my puppy ready for transport and even bathed him, but Theodore never showed up. Even though he obviously had a method to communicate to me (he had sent the message to me that morning), he chose not to update me on his change of plans. Poor communication and NOT dependable. You’re better off going with a different transporter.

Chris and Sharon were wonderful! As soon as I booked them they contacted me by phone and started making plans. Even with short notice they organized things for rapid pickup of my puppy. They were great to send updates over the entire trip and even sent videos of my little one. My puppy was the only animal they transported so I didn’t have to worry about him getting any sickness from another dog. Chris let my puppy have the entire trunk of his suv where he has food, water, toys, and a bed set up for him. Chris understood the importance of not letting my puppy out in public places where he could be exposed to something. Chris made the 16+ hour road trip at right through to get my puppy to me as soon as possible. Both Chris and Sharon were easy to speak to. Very dependable, safe, and personable.

Tuesday and Wednesday went by and I could not get in contact with him through phone call, text, or message on the website. It is 4/24 and I still can not get in contact with him. Citizienshipper still will not refund my deposit, and the place where my camper is located is not happy it is still there... not cool..

Never showed up, had some excuse. Now he won’t text me back and owes us $812.50!! Moving across country is hard, with a pregnancy due date of 5/5 - we couldn’t afford an error and he gave us his word. I’ve been sending calm messages for a week asking for a refund and no reply. This is not a trustworthy person. Please avoid at all costs. It’s a frightening thing that someone is praying on hardworking people in a very intimate time in their lives. Brody please give us our money back, you didn’t earn it. It was only a deposit. Please be decent and realize you didn’t fulfill a service and your not returning the money is theft.

Needed to move my dog across country and had no experience with any of it. Came across Citizenshipper and considered a few options but CarPets had the best combo: timing and qualifications. Peter did great with answering questions, giving regular updates with pictures and a map link, and made great timing with both an early pick up and early drop off! Highly recommend and was definitely better for my dog than trying to get him under a plane.

Overall it was a good experience. I was very nervous about using this type of service as it was my first time however, each time I sent a text either the boss or the driver responded to me. My only negative feedback is that the driver slept through their alarm which pushed my delivery back from early morning Thursday, to 1 am Friday. I only used this type of service because my puppy was supposed to be delivered sooner than it would’ve taken me to fly out to the pick up, rent a car, and drive the 21 hours back. I wish I had gotten more updates or a way to track the driver like some of the other bidders offered. Overall, I would still recommend if this type of service is needed.
