Hi, I’m Justin, the owner and operator of Captain Slinky Pet Services! 🚐🐾 The name comes from my cat, Slinky, a gray tabby I adopted from the Humane Society. Sadly, his back legs weren’t working right, so he sort of slinked instead of walked—and with his color, the name Slinky stuck! 😄 For years, he rode shotgun with me on long drives, hotel stays, and cross-country routes, becoming my constant co-pilot and reminding me that animals aren’t cargo—they’re family. After Slinky passed away, I honored him by promoting him to Captain, naming the business in his memory and committing myself to running a transport service built on the same patience, calm, and trust he gave me on the road. Today, I travel with my co-pilot Scrappy, a 10-year-old miniature poodle I adopted in August just before he was going to be euthanized. He loves people and animals alike and is a gentle, calming presence on the road. 🐩❤️ I bring over 30 years of hands-on experience owning and fostering dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, plus over 25 years volunteering with the Humane Society. Professionally, I’ve safely transported over 1,500 pets across the lower 48 states, earning over 150 verified 5-star reviews on CitizenShipper—all from real clients and real transports you can review directly on my profile. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a solo professional driver, your pet is never passed off to anyone else. I had a great experience with Captain Slinky Pet Transport. Justin picked up our puppy and was incredibly kind throughout the entire process. He kept us well-informed with updates on arrival times and was very communicative, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. He was also flexible and accommodating to our needs, which we really appreciated. I was initially hesitant to book a pet transport service, but I’m so glad we chose Captain Slinky. Everything went smoothly, and our puppy was in great hands. I would absolutely use them again for any future pet transport needs!

We used Captain Slinky Pet Services to transport our 2 dear Norwich Terriers from Indianapolis, Indiana to Lewes, Delaware. We can’t say enough about the service Justin supplied. Our dogs arrived as promised in perfect condition. We would highly recommend Captain Slinky to anyone transporting their beloved pets. I couldn’t be happier with this experience. I hired him literally the night before pickup, and he still went above and beyond. He picked my dog up in Florida and brought her to me in Baltimore, and she arrived happy, healthy, and clearly well taken care of. He checked in with me during the drive and sent photos, which I really appreciated. I felt completely at ease the whole time. I would 100% recommend him to anyone needing pet transport.

Top Tier Service - Justin is amazing! I was quite concerned about a 1400 mile journey for my (3) pets, but he made this happen so easily and stress free for my pets. Justin provided steady communication, along with photos and videos during the trip. I couldn't possibly have asked for more! Worth every penny - I highly recommend!
