About
Hi, I’m Justin, the founder, owner, and sole driver of Captain Slinky Pet Services. I named the business after my late cat, Slinky, whose memory continues to travel with me on every trip. What began as a tribute has grown into a trusted pet transportation service built on personal care, safety, and honest communication. Since 2020, I’ve transported more than 2,000 pets across the country and earned over 160 verified five-star reviews. When you book Captain Slinky, you book me—I personally handle your pet’s journey from pickup to delivery in my clean, climate-controlled Toyota Sienna. I keep trips small, provide regular breaks and photo and video updates, offer live GPS tracking, and arrange pet-friendly hotel stays for longer journeys. As a USDA Registered transporter, I put your pet’s safety and comfort first every mile of the way. My rescued miniature poodle, Scrappy, is often my road companion and a constant reminder of why this work matters. Thank you for considering Captain Slinky Pet Services. I’d be honored to help your pet get home safely.

Very reliable, well-maintained, front & rear climate controls. I removed the middle seats for pet beds/carriers. Your dog can be crated or uncrated - that’s up to you! I also use seatbelt tethers.

I had a great experience with Captain Slinky Pet Transport. Justin picked up our puppy and was incredibly kind throughout the entire process. He kept us well-informed with updates on arrival times and was very communicative, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. He was also flexible and accommodating to our needs, which we really appreciated. I was initially hesitant to book a pet transport service, but I’m so glad we chose Captain Slinky. Everything went smoothly, and our puppy was in great hands. I would absolutely use them again for any future pet transport needs!

I couldn’t be happier with this experience. I hired him literally the night before pickup, and he still went above and beyond. He picked my dog up in Florida and brought her to me in Baltimore, and she arrived happy, healthy, and clearly well taken care of. He checked in with me during the drive and sent photos, which I really appreciated. I felt completely at ease the whole time. I would 100% recommend him to anyone needing pet transport.
