They did a great job in being on time with pick up and drop off of my kitten. My buyer was very happy and my kitten seemed well cared for during their trip. I would defiantly use them again. The only reason for not the full 5 stars is communication during the travel would have been amazing. Would have loved a confirmation the day before, that arrangements were still on track (I did reach out and they responded very quickly confirming though). A text/photo during the travel would have reassured me as well. Other than a quick text for reassurance they took great care of my baby!!!

This was my first time using CitizenShipper and I was extremely let down, to say the least. I trusted Sandra even as she strung me along for days, delaying the pick up, each time for a different reason. She even asked to come earlier at one point and I had acquiesced, only for another excuse to arise. Whenever I would ask if she needed to cancel, she would say no and that, “I don’t cancel, I wouldn’t do that to you”. Despite my patience and understanding with her, she suddenly stopped replying to any forms of communication, even seeming to disconnect her phone. She couldn’t even be fair enough to reach out, tell me she couldn’t do it and allow me to move on with my preparations. She was, however, able to reach out to CitizenShipper and report car troubles - I imagine this was to avoid any ownership of the cancellation. Luckily, CitizenShipper has been able to credit my account so I can continue looking for transporters but this situation has severely affected my family’s plans and left my puppy in limbo. This has been such a poor experience with Sandra. I had hoped for more when first communicating with her but it goes to show: never judge a book by its cover.

I contacted Erin with little notice to pick up our new Aussie for us, and meet us halfway to Maine to save us some time on our trip. Erin was INCREDIBLE. I can’t say enough about how amazing our entire experience was. She sent pictures, called, sent us mobile app information to track her entire journey. She was transparent, SO personable and more than we ever could have hoped for. Where do I start? This is my first time ever allowing anyone other than myself travel with my animal for such a long period of time. With that said Alex, was able to help me through booking not only did she take me very last minute she walked me through the entire process explained the travel and steps throughout transporting my pet. She communicated so well with me kept me updated on my animal throughout their whole journey sent me pictures of my pet she was able to answer all of my questions she never left me on read or without getting back to me. If I didn’t have what I needed for the road she offered to help me with providing what my pet would need she treated my animal so well. I was updated the entire time and she made it from California to Idaho in what seemed like no time. My son was so thrilled to have his best friend home. Scott should most definitely be everyone’s first choice for pet relocations! Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was given no other choice than to (at the last minute) reschedule the pickup for the next day. Scott was very understanding of this. When a new time was decided upon, he had no issues with accommodating. Right off the bat, you can immediately tell how much Scott truly loves what he does and how genuine of a person he is. The decision to have my dog transported was not something I had originally planned to do. After trying to make arrangements for travel with her it helped my own transition of moving to another state a lot less stressful. After being at home for two years and very little contact with both people and animals I was worried about my dog and how well she would handle being cared for by people she didn't know. After reading profiles and reviews I chose Tim. My little girl is very shy but even on introduction, both Hachi and I were feeling positive vibes. As nervous as I am about my little girl being around anyone else, I knew that she was in good hands. I loved the fact that along with Tim a wonderful team of helpers including their own furbaby was there for the journey. I got regular reassuring updates. She was delivered a day earlier than previously expected which was great. My girl was happy and calm even though she had been away from me. She looked healthy and rested which was a huge relief for me. If ever I needed transportation for my little Hachiko again, Tim would be my first and only choice. WARNING JESSIE IS RUNNING A SCAM. If I could give a 0 I would. Let me explain what is happening on this site. Jessie amongst others are running this scam. They ask you for an up front payment for gas and lodging. Later they will call this a “deposit”. They pick up your shipment and somehow encounter a hardship in transit. They notify you and then come up what whatever reason they can on canceling the shipment. They then take your possession (in my case a $40,000 boat) to a place they can lock it up and then proceed to “impound” your possession until you pay them the rest of the shipping costs. They will charge you $50 a day until you pick it up. That’s the scam but don’t fall for it. Taking possession of someone else’s possessions is theft. I downloaded the tracking from the GPS I left in the boat and it never left Jessie’s hometown. This is CRIMINAL and I intend on pulling strings and making an example out of this situation. Please do not do business with this man and if you do make sure all your ducks are in a row. They will take advantage of your kindness.

Gina was God sent. My labrador retriever puppy was too heavy to fly on an airline which was disclosed to us at the very last minute. We found citizen shipper and within moments of posting Gina stepped right in to help us. Her quote met our budget and she was very professional throughout the process. She introduced herself to my pup first and made sure he was calm and comfortable with her. Her van was clean and sanitized and it was so pretty that I wanted to travel in that van with my dog.lol. She gave us regular updates with pictures. My dog had a little sniffle from before Gina had him but she took care of him like her own child. And when she was slightly delayed because of the weather she made sure that safety of my dog was her priority. Would not recommend using AAA Transport. Pick up was late, arrival was late, and the trip itself took much longer than advertised. I asked for a $50 (less than 7% of the total cost) discount because of the delays, and I was told the “hesitancy to pay” would lead to other shipments being delivered before my dog was. There was an extreme lack of communication, lack of urgency, and lack of respect for transporting my dog. Clearly cared much more about getting paid than getting my dog back to me on time. Nothing was ever their fault. If you’re looking to transport your animal, look elsewhere.

Brooke canceled on me pretty last minute, texting me that she couldn't do it the morning of the day that she was supposed to pick Molly up due to health reasons. As someone who personally has chronic illness, I am very empathetic and understand that health is number one. That said, it definitely was disappointing and put me in a tough spot to last-minute figure out how to get my pup home. I'm still giving Brooke 3 stars because she was very professional and communicative up until that point.
