- Was left with the impression that my cat would be picked up in the morning from California and delivered the next evening in Austin. - Pickup was, in fact, nearly half a day late and drop off was SEVERAL days later. - I had to constantly modify my travel and moving plans to accommodate these continuous unexpected delays. Also, these changes required additional out of pocket expenses on my end. - The principal of the company, Donald Wells, shut down all communications as soon as it became apparent that the pickup was going to be very late leaving me with the only option of communicating with the driver. - I tried reaching Donald for updates and explanations regarding the delays via phone calls, texts and through citizenshippers' message portal with no response. Sensing that he might be blocking my calls, I called home from a different number and he picked up immediately. He claimed that his phone had been broken for days until the hour prior to my call from the new number. When I pointed out my numerous concerns he became very defensive. - There were inconsistencies in the explanations I received from the driver and Donald for the multiple delays. For example, I was told by Donald that my cat would not be traveling with other animals during the trip since he can become anxious around others. Then I found out from the driver that there was indeed another cat in the van for a leg of the trip. Then, when I finally reached Donald, he disclosed that that cat had died. - When I did receive my cat, he appeared exhausted, thin, disheveled and one of his paws was injured and bleeding. 24 hours later he is still unusually timid, tender when touched, stopped self grooming, eating very little, is wheezing when he breathes and is not acting his normal jovial self. I'm so concerned that I will likely be taking him to the vet if his condition does not improve. My cat is ten years old and has never been in such a weakened state. - Among the many excuses I received for the delays included: very late pickup because they had a dog in the vehicle and the the owners never contacted them about final delivery; another cat in the vehicle was sick or died and they had to divert to an animal hospital; the driver witnessed a hit and run incident and he had to stop to provide testimony to the police; a federal agency's regulation intervened and required a several hour pause in driving; and finally a dust stormed slowed things down. I'm not asserting that these were false statement but just providing you with the explanations I received. - Paul, the driver, was actually very nice when I was able to communicate with him. I think he was for the most part trying his best but ultimately the responsibility lies with his employer Donald.

I can't recommend Leann highly enough. She drove our 8 week golden retriever puppy all the way from Iowa to Massachusetts without a single hiccup. Omg where can I start? Ronni is the absolute sweetest and is willing to work with you for whatever you need. With covid going on, so much was changing and she helped me every step of the way. Not only was she cheaper than all the other quotes, I doubt anyone would have gone above and beyond like her! She came by my house, got all my trash and dumped it, then came back & picked up my cats, made them comfortable, dropped them off safely, then took my belongings to my mom's house. Good service, the pet concierge was very pleasant to work with. Despite the current pandemic situation, they were reasonably affordable and very flexible. We hashed out all the details and ensured we both understood the contract. On pick-up, we did get a bad first impression when only one of the drivers showed up with a van almost too small to fit both extra-large crates. On top of that, we learned that he would've had to make a detour to another state to pick up the other driver. My family members releasing the dogs to them, and us here were all on edge hoping we did the right choice. Once both drivers were on board and en route there were no issues, we received updates about twice a day with pictures and were very efficient. They arrived a day early to the drop-off destination and stayed until the dogs were released to the airline. They were courteous and I sincerely believe they took good care and loved our boys. All of us here are very grateful for the service you all provided for us. Thank you!

I just received my puppy today. Louis delivered her healthy, clean and maybe a bit spoiled from Virginia to San Diego. I can't say enough positive remarks about this experience. Please DO NOT use this service. They LOST MY DOG. They are claiming that he was vicious and that the clip on the leash broke. The truth is, they did not have control of him when they opened the crate and he ran off. It has been six weeks without any sightings. Odds are we will never recover him. They offered to pay his adoption cost, and are now balking at that. A lot of "talk to my lawyer." These people have all the right credentials, but are unprofessional. Do not trust your pet to them.

I hired Christian & Jenn’s Pup Hound Transport to transport my two cats from California to Colorado. During our initial conversation Christian told me that he had a cat carrier that would hold both of my cats and a full size litter box very comfortably. It is a 2-foot by 2-foot by 3-foot. I thought that this sounded perfect for my fur babies. I informed Christian that my kitties were born feral and are not friendly to strangers. I asked that they put my kitties in the larger carrier and do not take them out. Christian responded with “I believe we can handle that”. We agreed that he would pick up my kitties on the morning of the 25th and deliver them to their destination on the morning of the 26th. Christian & Jenn arrived on the 25th at 1:00PM. They did keep in contact with me letting me know that traffic was really bad and they were running late. When they arrived the carrier was not in the car. I had put my cats in a single cat carrier to transport from my house to the carrier they were supposed to have set up in their car. They told me that they were going to get the carrier set up and put my cats in shortly. At 6:02PM I received a text message showing me a picture of my cats. They were still in the small single cat carrier I had put them in at 1:00. I asked if I misunderstood our agreement and they replied that they were about to switch out the carriers and that traffic has been really bad. Not sure what bad traffic has to do with them keeping to our agreement of putting my cats in the agreed upon carrier. At 8:28PM I received a phone call, they had lost one of my cats. They had stopped to change out a headlight and to put my cats in the larger carrier. While transferring my cats, one escaped. My cats were in a small single animal carrier for 7.5 hours without food, water and a litter box, and on top of that they lost one of my cats. I informed them that I would drive the 2.5 hours to get my other cat. I picked up my second cat. They told me that they had checked into a Motel 6 and that my second cat was in their room STILL IN THE SINGLE CAT CARRIER. I picked up my second cat at 11:10PM. She had been without food, water and a litter box for over 10 HOURS! Christian told me that they were meeting Animal Control in the morning. I got up early so I could look for my lost kitty before traffic got to loud. At 7:55AM Christian and Jenn were at the location helping me look. They explained where he ran to. I asked when Animal Control was going to be out and Christian said that we would have to call them and ask them to come out. After looking for awhile I said that there wasn’t much more we could do. Jenn apologized and said that I would receive a full refund. Christian said that he would go get posters made and hang them up. I texted him a picture of Sage that he could use it for the posters. The posters were never done. I am driving the 2.5 hour trip tomorrow to put up posters. I do not recommend this company. They lied about the carrier that my cats were going to be transported in. They lied about hanging up posters to help me find my cat. Their FaceBook page looks all happy and smiles, but they delete any negative posts. They can have several animals in a small sedan at a time. What if your animal doesn’t get along with the other animals? You don’t see those pictures on their FaceBook. I am broken hearted about this. Do not trust these people with your fur babies.

Claude brought my Italian greyhound puppy from his breeder in GA to his new home in NY. He was incredibly warm and empathetic to my new pup, making sure he was covered in warm blankets and that he didn’t come in contact with environments that might have viruses he’s not fully vaccinated against. He also was great about communicating with me, calling right after we booked our trip and with state by state test updates and pics of the pup along the way. Anthony was willing to negotiate price, and when the task became very difficult (dogs could not be cleared by cargo AND THEN customs), he could have walked away. But he didn’t. In fact, he took the initiative to contact me, and then negotiated the rest with the authorities with the documents I gave him. He quickly knew exactly what was needed, and saw things through. Despite the delay, my two golden retrievers arrived on time 20+ hours away. I cannot praise this gentleman’s assistance in a challenging situation more. Pick this guy—his work defines professionalism. I will be rehiring him for my cat next.
