Marcie brought us our Newfoundland puppy from Michigan to Kansas City. She was one of the best priced options, and she provided solo trips (I.e. did not pick up other pets on the way). She showed up at pick up early, made the whole trip in one day so we didn’t have to wait to meet our baby pup, provided frequent check ins (both after booking and en route), and we were able to track her through the Apple Maps app (which the kids LOVED doing). The whole process was smooth and seamless. Would use again.

I'm very happy with D&K's service. Kristal's son Tayvian handled my new boy Clifford's transport from Arkansas to Upstate New York very efficiently and made great time. Arrived nearly a full day earlier than I had estimated, although he had stops to make along the way. Tayvian kept me regularly updated with video clips of Clifford nearly every 12 hours and I could tell everything was fine, and that he honestly cares for the pets he transports. I found the overall customer service experience to be both friendly and professional as well as affordable. Not only would I highly recomend them, I also made sure to keep Tayvian's #. May be quite awhile before I would need to transport one of my dogs, but I feel I now have a dog transport service I would trust when needed. Thank you!

On very short notice, we hired Cindy and Leah to relocate our dog (Labrador & Great Dane mix) from Virginia Beach to Los Angeles. Our dog is a rescue and I was very nervous because she has serious anxiety around strangers. Cindy and Leah are very skilled at working with nervous dogs, and they made this experience comfortable for her. It was clear by the end of the trip my dog created a bond with both ladies. They sent me videos and updates every day. They kept the lines of communication open and they always answered any questions I had. Admittedly, there were some delays. This is to be expected with road traveling. If you are to book with Cindy and Leah, you must be willing to be flexible. No one enjoys delays, but they communicated regularly and they got my dog back to me safely. The experience really brought my anxious dog out of her shell. I would hire them again in the future.

I rated Cindy with a 1 star review because zero stars was not an option. I hired Cindy to transport our dog from VA to CA, delivering our pup to our daughter. First of all, she under bid the job to get the job & then lied about the estimated delivery date, knowing she couldn't meet that timeframe. Consumers beware & do not ship your pet with this lady. Cheaper is def NOT better. There's a reason she charges less. Upon booking, I was told that my dog would be delivered to his destination within 4-5 days. Upon pickup, her driver told me it would be more like 5-7 days which I still thought was reasonable, so we went ahead with the shipment. During booking Cindy told me that she would like payment via Venmo. 1/2 at pick up & 1/2 upon delivery. She never asked for the 1/2 upfront, I assumed she was busy & just wanted full pymt at delivery. It was 11 days before our dog was finally delivered to our daughter. I want to say that we are not unreasonable people, we are flexible and understanding of things that come up along the way. We are a military family & have traveled across the country multiple times. Two things could've changed this entire scenario: 1) Cindy being upfront & realistic about how long it REALLY takes her to deliver pets across the country, not exact times/days but at least in the ball park for goodness sake. 2) Her attitude. If she would've kept us informed along the way of delays etc, and was kind and humble about it, that would've went a long way. But she was rude and had a total attitude and never once took the initiative to reach out to us, we had to reach out to her every time she missed her last deadline. On day 7 I reached out to Cindy to find out if our dog was still being delivered that day. She called me to inform me that he would not be delivered that day, because her transmission went out "that morning" & she stated they were on the outskirts of Colorado. If she was on the outskirts of CO, she wasn't going to make it to CA that day regardless of her car trouble or not. My issue was at what point do you notify your client that the delivery is delayed? People have lives & jobs and can't sit at home all day everyday waiting for delivery just to have the goal post keep moving! Clearly the car trouble wasn't the only cause of the delay and according to her, she had a rental van & was back on the road the SAME day. it's very apparent she is greedy & overbooks herself with shipments to the point that she doesn't really have a clue when people will get their dogs. But that doesn't stop her from bidding and giving delivery dates she can't meet just to get the job. She will reply with, "We can't help circumstances that are out of our control." That is true Cindy, you can't But the disaster that we just experienced with you is far beyond a few unforeseen circumstances. After the "transmission" trouble, she told me my dog would be delivered by Friday (day 10). Friday came, no dog. When my daughter tried to communicate with her, she gave an attitude every time. Extremely rude and unprofessional, yelling on the phone, talking over us as if she was a high schooler, not a grown woman running a "business." She then tells us our dog will be delivered Saturday morning. Sat morning came & went, no dog & when my daughter reached out, she text my daughter & said that it'll now be sometime between 12-3pm on Sat. At this point we were now 4 days past when she said we would have our dog & there was no end in sight with the excuses. We didn't know what state our dog was in or when we would get him back. Somewhere you have to draw the line. So I finally text her & told her that enough was enough. If we didn't have our dog by 3pm that day as promised, I would be calling the local authorities & reporting her. This started a chain of calls and texts from Cindy to both me & my daughter, threatening to withhold our dog from us & that we could call the cops, in fact she even offered to give us their phone number. She said, "The cops won't do anything, it's a civil matter," stating she knows because, "she's been through this before." Which I have no doubt! She's clearly comfortable running her business this way. She told us that she would not release our dog to us unless we paid in cash upon delivery. She was now holding my dog hostage and threatening not to give him to us after she had him on the road for 11 full days if we would not comply with HER change in pymt terms. I asked the woman for her Venmo account name THREE times so I could pay her and she refused to give it to me. May I remind you that we have done nothing wrong to this lady. As a matter of fact...even after all she did to us to include her horrible customer service...we continued to kiss her butt the whole time and be kind just so that we would safely get our dog! We were at her mercy 100% and she knew that. That's a terrible feeling. This woman should NOT be transporting people's pets. She should never be allowed to ship for anyone again. She was now demanding pymt in full via CASH on a Saturday from my daughter. I reminded her that it was not my daughter that booked her services, it was me & that my 20 yr old didn't have $1200 in cash to give her. Cindy replied to me & said, "That's what a bank is for honey." Well my bank isn't open on Saturdays & regardless that wasn't the agreed upon pymt terms. I reminded her of her OWN pymt terms during booking which was via Venmo. I also told her that I would even pay her the 1/2 now that wasn't paid upfront to show good faith. We were in NO way trying to withhold pymt from this woman. Even though she didn't deserve full pymt at this point after what she put us & our dog through, I just wanted my dog back! I told Cindy that pymt would not be in cash, we will be paying via Venmo as SHE originally requested. She then told me the only way she would accept a Venmo payment is if I wrote a written statement saying I wouldn't dispute the charges and have it notarized!!! This woman is off her rocker. Seriously treating her customers as if WE did something wrong, as if WE were untrustworthy after she didn't hold up her end of the contract. When she finally arrived to my daughter's home in CA with our dog, she inevitably agreed to accept pymt via Venmo. Cindy had her driver hold my dog hostage until the Venmo payment went through. Literally wouldn't release the dog leash to my daughter! As if I was some kind of criminal & wasn't going to pay her! Mind you her Venmo account wouldn't work & I had to send the money to her driver's Venmo account just to get her paid. All the while, my poor dog that had been in a kennel for 11 days across country was being held back by her driver. A confrontation in the street, holding my dog hostage from my daughter should have NEVER happened. Cindy you should be ashamed of yourself! You seriously need to rethink your profession. This is wrong on so many levels. I will be reporting her to the Better Business Bureau as well. I'm reporting her to everyone I possibly can in hopes of warning others so they don't have to go through what we just went through! Delayed deliveries and the unprofessionalism was one thing...but to take it to the level that you start demanding a separate pymt method than what you originally requested & threatening to withhold someone's dog if you don't get paid that way...no. Cindy YOU breached your own bid contract multiple times during this shipment & it is ILLEGAL for your to withhold someone's dog because you couldn't control your emotions. I don't usually leave reviews. It has to be significant for me to take the time to leave a review. This woman put us through hell for 11 days to the point where my daughter was ready to drive to where she was to pick up our dog. Do not ship with her. And if you do, you've been warned. I have our entire booking conversation & contract terms screenshotted & saved as well as her belligerent text conversation where she threatened to withhold my dog from us. Fredo was great and communicative at the start, when I originally booked with him. When the circumstances quickly changed, a mere 4 hours after I had booked him and submitted my $100 deposit, Fredo agreed to return the $100 deposit within 7-10 business days (which is when I originally gave him a 5 star rating for being understanding). However, after 7-10 business days, I followed up with him and was given an excuse that he was “in the red” and needed a few more weeks to return my deposit (that he should’ve never spent since he knew within 4 hours of booking he’d need to return). When I followed up 2 weeks later, I was again given an excuse that he didn’t have my money. When I followed up the following week asking for it to be returned by end of week, he came back saying he needed 3 more weeks to return it to me. I followed up with him last week, a bit over the 3 weeks after he stated, and received no response. In total, it’s now been 2 months and he hasn’t been able to return my $100 deposit that he said would take 7-10 business days. Not once has he given me an update without me having to check in. This is extremely unprofessional, untrustworthy, and disheartening, and I couldn’t in good faith recommend him to anyone.

I am the person who received the kitten that Billy delivered for. He is a kind compassionate man, and he treated the kitten like royalty. I recommend him highly; he is conscientious and does a really good job. His rates are reasonable, and he genuinely cares for the animals he transports. He had an issue with his car and that resulted in the kitten being dropped off a little later than planned and he offered to reduce the rate. I didn’t take him up on it because it was more important to me that the kitten was safe, and the issue was not his fault and he informed me of it as soon as it happened. He sent me pictures, videos and updates all during the trip so that I knew how things were going. I give him 5 stars.

TJ Transportation quickly earned my trust and once meeting them it was clear they care about what they are doing and are committed to great service. Having received a wide range of bids (as you will likely too) its hard to know if paying more gets you more. Some bids seem scary low, making wonder what corners are being cut. Amanda was an exceptional flight nanny. Our 8 week old puppy needed to be flown from LAX to Boston and we were overwhelmed with options of how to get him home - there were many flight nannies and drivers with different bids and approaches. But we could not be more thrilled with our choice in Amanda to bring our new baby home to us. From the beginning, Amanda was responsive, caring, kind and experienced. She clearly is a pro - she knows dogs well and she won’t take any risk with your pup. For example, our pup wasn’t fully vaccinated yet so Amanda made sure that he didn’t get out of his crate at the airport and that strangers didn’t pet him but she had a playpen she lined with clean peepads so he could stretch his legs before the 6 hour flight. On top of that, Amanda was always responsive to our texts and understanding of our concerns. She sent us photos of our pup during his whole entire journey which put us at such ease and let us know he was in great hands. We really cannot recommend Amanda more...every part of the experience with her made what could be a nerve wracking process an absolutely effortless one. Very dissatisfied, my pick up was cancelled after Credit cards or PayPal were not accepted and was told to use PaySend for deposit one day before pickup by driver. Had trouble setting up PaySend app so shipping services cancelled pick up. Deposit and additional fees were worked out to be paid at the pickup location due to the app problems No calls or any communications of cancellation. Driver knew the breeder was moving and the timing situations and was staying to accommodate the drivers car repairs. The dog was originally scheduled to be picked up 3 days earlier but drivers changed and car repairs were required.
