Our interactions with Shawn were exemplary. He was extremely flexible, polite, and accommodating of our unique circumstances. He communicated well and often enough to keep us comfortable but not bothersome. It would have been helpful to know he works with his brothers and passes off the animals, I guess as the route dictates, sort of in relay fashion. We learned only a couple of days out it would be his brother who was delivering our animals, but that's a minor point of little significance. The animals appeared well cared for during their 3000-mi journey, were delivered on time and exactly as we'd requested. We rate Shawn at 5 stars without any hesitation. I finally got my sweet, easy-going, and loving Golden Retriever, Mya back after 12 days when I was told no more than 7 days to get her from AZ to VA. I would not recommend using them to transport your fur baby, unless you're prepared to have a hard time reaching them and not actually knowing when you're going to have your pet arrive. She was picked up on a Wednesday night. I didn't hear much until that Monday saying they weren't anticipating delivery until Saturday (10 days after picking my dog up.) I told them Mya had an appointment Friday morning and they responded saying they would try and get her there Thursday. Tuesday night I was then told they were still only in Nevada (6 days after picking her up in AZ.) Late Wednesday/early Thursday I was then told they broke down in Wyoming. I understand break downs happen, but this was a week into the trip and they were still on the other side of the country. After this, they didn't get a rental until Friday evening and said they would drive straight through and they only had Mya to worry about. At this point they were in Idaho Falls (a 33 hr drive) but said they would drive straight through. Each time I would contact them, it seemed like they weren't making any progress. I was then told she would get my dog to me Sunday morning (before 8 am), then it would be later in the afternoon, to still not having her Monday. Sunday she started with a 17-18 hr drive to VA, by the end of the night she was still 15 hours away. Sunday I was told Mya would be delivered Monday morning, then it was pushed back to the afternoon, and then pushed back again to 6pm. After not hearing anything from them in 6 hours, we get a call at 6pm saying they were 5 hours. Me and my mom ended up driving to meet them just so I could have my dog back in time for her appointment Tuesday morning (that had to be rescheduled from Friday.) When I got Mya back after driving to NC, Stacey didn't even get out of the car or say anything to me. I even noticed another dog that they must have picked up even after saying they weren't picking up any other dogs and were only worried about Mya. Stacey told me many times that I would get a refund, but now I can't reach her. This was a terrible experience and we kept getting excuse after excuse for 12 days. Who knows if we would have gotten her almost 2 weeks later if we didn't drive to get her.

To say I was nervous was understated. I had recently lost a senior dog, and to give my only dog to a stranger for 4 day trip, I was very uneasy. Claude was great with our super anxious dog on a long trip from coast to coast! Our dog is not very happy with new people but Claude sat in our front yard for 45 minutes upon pickup to build trust with our dog. Claude was excellent about updating us as he arrived in each new state and sent us pictures of our dog along the way. He is very experienced and knows how to handle difficult dogs and took many measures to make him as comfortable as possible. He folded down the seats of his car so he would have as much room as possible, gave him treats and called me on speaker so my dog could hear my voice (which actually seemed to really help calm his anxiety). I will definitely use Claude again!
