A Guy and his Dog Transportation went way beyond my expectations... I had purchased a boat in Nashville and hired them to transport it to Denver. I must admit I was a little nervous about hiring a stranger via an online service. Jacob eased my mind with his great communication every step of the way. He took several pictures of the boat upon pick up. He double checked the lug nuts, bearing temps and tire pressure during the 1200 mile trip He gave me updates from the road and his current GPS location. At delivery he stuck around and helped me cut the shrink wrap of the boat, which was a tough job. He is a great guy that you can trust with whatever you have to have transported. The best thing about Jacob is his heart. I highly recommend using A Guy and his Dog Transportation!

Although Armondo and his wife have been doing this for sometime, I am the first customer in Citizenshipper. And what the great experience it has been! The communication is great, immediate, and professional. By talking with Armondo, I could tell immediately his love of his dog, Bobber, who is the CEO of this company. Having Bobber in the transport has been great for my young puppy. They have been taking stops, and sending me photos. Initially, I was to drive to Dallas to meet my pup's flight from Tampa. But a day before my departure date, the flight was cancelled due to the heat wave. I have to say that Beagles Men Transort was a godsend. My pup's breeder has been very happy with them, too. They have been sending the updates to us. The van is brand new, and extremely clean. I will see them in a day or so. I should have just booked them instead of planning to fly my pup from the start! My Dog was DEAD on arrival!!! 3 of my Huskies had to be medically taken care by a Veternarian from severe dehydration and heat exhaustion. I spent an additional $1,500 and 5 days just to get the remaining 5 dogs back to health. DO NOT USE HER!!! She is a Homeless person on wheels and her transportation is horrible!! She was 6 days late to pick up my 6 Siberian Huskies. Once I booked her over 2 months ago we had been sending multiple texts back and forth for a pick up on June 2, 2021 at 12 noon. I had the dogs bathed, and their hair shaved due to being transported through AZ, NM and TX. They all had harnesses, collars with their name on it, leashes, bowls, dog food and crates. On June 2, around 12:30pm, she was a no show, so I called and texted her. I did not get a response until later that evening with her telling me her van broke down and she was getting it fixed. I asked her, what would be a good day for her to reschedule that would give her time to get everything taken care of. She told me June 4, by 12 noon. Again, a no show and I starting calling and texting again. She did not text me until 11:30pm that night and sent me an Invoice to pay her IN FULL before picking up my dogs. She explained something else broke on her van and that she promised she would be there the next morning June 5th, by 12 noon. We had closed escrow on June 4th and we had 1 day to move out. My son stayed behind on our sold house to meet up with her at noon, while I drove out to Texas to meet up with the Moving truck. June 5th, 12 noon came and again she never showed up. She called me to tell me she could have her "friend" who has been doing this business for 30 years, come and get my dogs and hold them until she could pick them up. He was a great person and I had nothing to worry about. So, I called her "friend" name Randy. He tells me he doesn't know her and only met her on FaceBook messenger on 5/31/21 when she knew she was going to be late and was reaching out for help. He also told me he didn't have a working truck to go get the dogs at that moment, it was mute point. We were able to get the new owners to allow the dogs on the property 1 extra day at an additional expense. Mikki told me she would pay the additional monies and promised to be there Sunday June 5th, by noon to get the dogs as she had her van, and it was all fixed. "NEW VAN" were her exact words. Sunday morning, Randy reaches out to me to get my dogs because she had asked Randy to go get them as she would not be there to pick them up on Sunday. He told me his van would only be able to pick up the dogs and drop them off near by as his van had bad brakes and muffler issues and could not make the trip out to Texas in that condition. My son met Randy's driver at the home at 9:30am in the morning and the dogs are all placed safely in the Cargo van with a/c and cages that they could relax in. The driver took a video of all the dogs in their cages and all were happy and talking. Randy's driver took them to a place that was like an apartment garage with a/c and sent me video updates and texts to let me know how the dogs were doing. Mikki did not arrive to get my dogs until Tuesday June 8th, 2021, two days later. She texted me to tell me she has the dogs and everyone is all good. She stated she was going to drive to Arizona and stay at her house for her first night and let the dogs run in her yard. She was given instructions about each dog by phone and by text and that two could not play with the others due to sibling rivalry. She told me they ate and had plenty of water and would be heading out in the morning reaching me by early morning to noonish Thursday June 10th. Through the whole time, she said the dogs were being taken out, watered and feed and that she was staying in Motel 6 because they allowed any number of dogs and any breed. Again, through the whole time, she NEVER sent me any pictures, nor any VIDEO of the dogs as to how they were or even how they were traveling in her van. Thursday morning I texted her to see how the dogs were doing and to get a better ETA for their arrival. She told me that things were good, the dogs were singing, and that should would be there around 5 pm as she was in Odessa, past El Paso. When I googled her location, it stated she was 6 hours away and she would not be there until 6-6:30pm if she was making her stops to water the dogs and let them out. 6pm arrives and she is still 200 miles away due to traffic and the van was stopped with a lot of traffic, she said. I told her I lived in a gated community and they do not allow deliveries after 8pm as well as the property was being renovated with no lighting. We would not have been able to see where to and how to manage the dogs. She told me she needed to get my dogs to me that night because they were crying, they missed me. I told her, the next time she pulled over to water them to call me and I would talk to them. They would hear my voice and they would be ok. She never did that, she never called. She texted me at 9:30pm telling me she was 30 minutes away from my exit but was going to get a Motel 6 and settle in for the night. She texted me all the dogs were good and settled down to sleep. We agreed to meet up at 7am on the property and she told me she could not wait to see their excitement to see me. 7am Friday, June 11th 2021, we waited at the property for her to arrive. On the way in to the property her trailer hits my gate ripping off her trailer door on a trailer she was towing, with her cursing all the way up the driver way. She stops and first thing she does is go to her trailer to "fix" her door. As she is opening the door, she told me she had not fed them that morning, she wanted to get them home quickly. She then opens the back door to the van to get out the dogs. 2 dogs were out of the crate panting extremely heavy and we took them out first to get them water. They started drinking water like then never had it before. They went through 3 gallons of water right there. We then proceeded to get the other four and I notice we were missing one, so we started to count noses. The crates were all crammed into her back with very little ventilation in between them and there did not seem to be and A/C in the back. There was a crate that was on its side and we could not see in it, so she asked my son to get in the van to pull it around to look into it and thats when we saw my little boy Thor was dead. She said she though he was sleeping and I kept telling me he was fine at 9:30 pm last night. NONE of the crates had their water bowls in it and they all smelled like pee and had pee stains on their fur. Even the brand new harnesses were filthy and smelled bad. So from supposedly 9:30pm my little boy was ok, but if she was taking them into Motel 6 like she made it seem like she was. She would have seen Thor was dead. So, that means my dogs were without water from 9:30pm unto 7:30ish am stuck in a van with the Texas night temperatures at 75 degrees. Cramped in the back with no ventilation or water for almost 10 hours. As we stood there in shock, she was rambling on about "thats why you don't transport dogs in the Summer" and she didn't know, he was fine last night. His body was so stiff he had to have been dead for 10-12 hours or so. My other dogs just kept drinking water so much that they were throwing it up. I just was trying to get them cooled down. She was busy chasing her dogs that got out of her van running on my property. I asked for my dog's things and thats when she walked to the back of a trailer she was hauling and pullout their water bowls. If you are giving the dogs water ever 3-4 driving through 100 degrees desert, wouldn't the water bowls been the car for easy access for the frequency of watering? Also, if a dog travels by plane, it is mandatory to have water in the crate even in controlled tempers of a plane. USDA require it. Once she left, we took the dogs to a near by Veterinarian to bring my dead little boy and to look at my others because they were lifeless. After taking blood, urine and doing ultra sounds/xrays of their stomaches, he told me the dogs were in heat exhaustion and severely dehydrated. One of my boys had bones in his stomach and we NEVER give our dogs bones. She must have given it to them when she was at her home. The Vet gave them medicine and told me to give them Children's PediLyte or Coconut water to get their levels up some and to keep a close eye on them. He stated in the 30 years he has seen dogs in transit, never has he seen such neglect and animal cruelty. He advised me to call the police and to report her because my dogs were horribly treated and neglected by the looks and reports from all the testing. Thinking back to when she was telling me my dogs were crying, yes, they probably were because they knew my little boy had died. I went with Mikayla due to she was licensed through the USDA for transportation as well as she told me she knew Siberian Huskies really well and that she had plenty of experience with them. She answered all of my "questions" correctly, or basically, told me what she thought I needed to hear. Hearing she would walk and water them every 4 hours and would be staying in a Motel 6 in the evenings is what "sold" me on her. Again, yes she probably stayed at a Motel 6, but my dogs did not. Nor did they get enough oxygen or water from a licensed USDA Transporter traveling with her own 3 dogs. There is more to say but it won't bring back my little boy back. We are still in shock and I get sick every time I think of how he died, such a horrible way to die. I didn't even want to give her 1 star but you have to leave a report. I do not want anyone else ever to experience what we went through with the person. We are devastated, heart broken and in shock from our loss. So my advice would be... DO NOT USE HER!!! (Please excuse any typos as Siri keeps changing my words)

Very nice, and polite. But the timeline from pick up to drop off was not what I was quoted. Pick up time was supposed to have been at 4:30 pm on a Friday and 10 pm on a Sunday. Things got pushed back so pick up wasn’t until 1 am on Saturday and 10 pm on Monday. I would have appreciated more communication regarding the schedule change. I did allow for the two hour grace period before I contacted them as well. I would have appreciated more updates, and I was the one that initiated communication. However, my dog was transported safely and he arrived in good health, so for that I am grateful! If you don’t have a strict timeline, I would consider this team. HERES THE REVIEW: A few months ago I’d never even heard of Citizen Shipper and the prospect of hiring a stranger to transport my dogs put my stomach in knots. However, I needed to save three dogs from a bad situation over 1,000 miles away in Texas and the situation was time sensitive, so I requested a quote from Citizen Shipper. Within minutes my phone was inundated by texts from people sending me quotes to do the next day trip. Most of the quotes were pretty reasonable but Patrick was the first person to send me a personalized message acknowledging my complicated situation. Patrick knew he was being asked to transport three terrified semi feral terriers who had been running loose after being rescued from a back yard breeder situation. He knew the dogs were terrified of humans and he still told me he was “all in.” Boy was he. For Patrick it wasn’t about the money it was about helping. If I were to fully explain everything Patrick did to help save these dogs this review would go on for pages so I’ll try to keep this short. Patrick hasn’t just gone above and beyond the call of duty, he’s literally the reason these sweet scared dogs are alive today. While I hired Patrick simply to transport dogs who we’re supposed to be kenneled by the time he arrived at their location, catching these dogs proved to be especially difficult. Since the lady who initially rescued these dogs couldn’t catch them after they escaped, Patrick took matters into his own hands. Over the course of two months, Patrick made at least three separate attempts to help capture the dogs as they ran loose through a trailer park. He took it upon himself to enlist the help of others who wanted to help save the dogs and even contacted Animal Services and tried working with them as well. He even got the personal cell phone number of one of the animal control officers and asked this individual to contact him if they were ever able to capture these poor dogs. Unfortunately, about a week before I was able to hire a professional trapper to catch the dogs, one of the neighbors in the trailer park intentionally ran over and killed one of the dogs. When Patrick called me to let me know what had happened (I think he’d heard about what happened from the animal control officer) he was very kind; he knew I was devastated. In the end, as I just mentioned, I hired a professional to trap the dogs and Patrick picked up the dogs shortly after. During this two month ordeal Patrick was in constant communication with me. He was so kind, compassionate, understanding, and helpful by the time he finally reached my house it felt like we were friends. I honestly don’t believe anyone else would have done anything close to what Patrick did to save these pups. I am forever grateful to him and will recommend him to anyone and everyone who ever needs to transport their animals. He is a compassionate, honest, and all around wonderful human being. Patrick, from the very bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!
