We cannot say enough great things about our experience with Aaron. We were getting a puppy that was located in Oregon, and we live in North Carolina, we were super skeptical about having someone pick up our puppy and take him to the airport and about the whole situation in general. Aaron picked up our puppy and drove him around 4/5 hours to his home where he would keep him overnight, before waking up at the crack of dawn to drive 2 or more so hours to the airport in Seattle. He sent us pictures and we felt assured that he was taking such good care of our little puppy that was most likely scared and unsure of his surroundings. Having a stranger keep your puppy overnight is of course scary, but we couldn’t recommend Aaron more. The pet cargo hardly gave us any information about location, paperwork, how to pay, or anything at all. We were super stressed out but Aaron was doing literally everything he could to help us and find his way there with our puppy. Upon arrival, one redundant piece of paper work was missing and they wouldn’t allow our puppy on the plane. Now we had absolutely no clue what to do and Aaron was across the country with our puppy, still being so helpful and kind. We feel SOOO lucky that it was Aaron who had our puppy, we simply don’t know what we would’ve done without him. We ended up having to book a flight as soon as we could for one of us to fly to Seattle, and we wouldn’t get there till 9:30pm, Aaron kept our little puppy with him all day long and took such good care of him as we flew there to get him as soon as we could. He even went and bought him a leash and little collar to take him out since he was scared in the car and just a baby. Who knows, we could’ve had someone who said they couldn’t keep him all day or said this wasn’t what we initially agreed upon, and we would’ve been in a terrible situation, but that was not the case with Aaron. We met him upon arrival in Seattle and he was already in-line to get everything set up and ready for us and our puppy’s bag tag to get on the plane. He went above and beyond for us and our puppy and we couldn’t be more thankful. If you want someone trustworthy who will take good care of your animal and someone who is just a great overall person, Aaron is your guy. Couldn’t recommend him more.

Wow! I cannot believe how lucky I was to find Emi to transport my beautiful little puppy. From the very beginning she was so responsive. She provided me a copy of her actual ID to confirm she was who she said she was, went over all her training (who knew there was so much to know about a puppy!), explained how the puppy would be transported and just had such a great attitude. I asked a ton of questions before hiring her and she answered everyone of them quickly. Once I hired Emi, she contacted my breeder directly to get details of the puppy and to confirm pickup date and time. Emi arrived at the exact time she said she would. As soon as she took possession of my little guy, she immediately sent a group of pictures so I could (1) see it was the right puppy and (2) see how darn cute he was! Over the next three days she sent me pictures about every four to six hours. She texted me when they took potty breaks to tell me how he was acclimatizing to the journey and to let me know about his personality. We had a fun conversation the second night while she was taking a break and she explained how his personality appeared to be, what he was eating and how he was doing on the journey. I made mention of what we thought we were going to name him, and she suggested she start calling him that to see how he responded. By the time they got to our house – he already knew his name! I literally cannot say enough good things about Emi. Not only did she care about my puppy I felt like she cared about me as well. It felt like a friend was transporting my precious cargo. First and foremost, my dog arrived happy! The process leading up to scheduling and booking was pretty painless. I had a quick conversation with Beth and I got the details I needed. The price was right, so I was really excited about that. The problem really came with the timing of delivery. Beth quoted 6-8 days of transit time. She was completely unable to give me any sense of timeline once the journey started. Which made it difficult to determine when I needed to be available. My dog arrived 10 days after pickup and on day 8 & 9 Beth wouldn't commit to a time or day. At one point I was told on Friday they were in Northern California, but yet it was on Monday when I picked the dog up in Salem, Oregon. NorCal and Salem are approx 10 hours drive, an additional 3 days seemed crazy excessive. I was frustrated because on day 9 Beth told me she would arrive in the middle of the night, I set an alarm for every 90 minutes to be ready to receive my dog, and I got a text the next morning at 6am saying that I pulled over to sleep for the night, with no update to me (completely in the dark!) Overall I am pleased that my dog showed up happy, I was really displeased with the lack of communication and commitment to her agreed timeline.

They cancelled my delivery date because they were ahead of schedule one day, which is entirely their issue. I was very clear when I booked with them on the date and time I could receive my new puppy, and they knowingly agreed before I booked. Shadwanda (who you are speaking to via chat), texted me to call her on June 8th at night. My pet was to be picked up June 11th. She stated that Nathan was ahead of schedule and asked if I could I receive her early. Unfortunately, I could not, and I had to explain why to see if there were "extenuating circumstances" (which I should not have had to do...no is no). So they said that was a problem for them, and they would try to find other drivers, but it would be difficult to given "the great price" I got, which was actually on par with other bids. It does not appear they ever truly attempted to contact other drivers. Then they said I could get her over potentially a week later or they would cancel, and if it was cancelled I would get my citizenshipper fee back. So I said cancel. I did get my $50 deposit back via venmo, but when asked why she didn't cancel on the website, she replied "not sure how that works because we aren't cancelling we wanted to reschedule the pickup". She told me she would cancel, and this is entirely their fault. Never have I heard of a business not delivering on the date because they were ahead of schedule. Figure it out. Its poor business. After all the poor communication, there was no way I would give my puppy to these people. Now I am stuck to make last minute arrangements. 2 stars is because I got my deposit back. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Driver Response: Hello I would like to rebuttal this review and give our side of the story. The customer stated that there was poor communication and I wouldn't exactly call the extensive back and forth texts and the call (which wasn't that late at night since she is two hours ahead of me) "poor communication". I also asked via text "call me when you have the time" and she did. I wanted to speak on the phone because sometimes texts can be quite confusing and you do not know the tone of the conversation. I genuinely wanted to work out the situation with no harm. On the phone she seemed to be understanding and even told me that she could receive the puppy later rather than earlier. With customer service it takes both parties to agree and be reasonable that's why I asked why she couldn't receive the puppy early and she explained so it made things much clearer. She told me her husband would be back from traveling after the weekend so I informed her that Nathan (the driver) would be back next week and could deliver the puppy then. She said ok and I also offered to find another driver from Citizen who could possibly pickup for us. I immediately posted on the Citizens Facebook page attempting to find a driver last minute. But due to the complications of date and time I was unsuccessful. I also asked if the breeder would possibly be ok with us picking up next week and she replied "she shouldn't have a problem". I texted the breeder twice the next day and when asked about the update I told her that the breeder hadn't responded. She asked about another driver and I said I haven't reached out to a driver because I needed to make sure the breeder agreed to late pickup. At this point I think she thought I wasn't being honest, so she put me and the breeder in a group text chat and this is when she started sending texts that she was upset. She never expressed it to me via phone. I am not making excuses because we did pick a date for pickup/delivery. However unfortunate circumstances do arise when driving long distance and one thing can completely ruin a route. Nathan being a full day ahead of schedule was not planned and we never canceled we offered to pickup early or later. She decided to cancel although it still counted against us. We refunded her deposit and we also contacted support to report that the shipment was canceled. I personally told her that she is able to repost and Citizens would apply their fee to the new shipment. This is our first negative review and based on our track record we want future customers to know this is not reflective on how we do business. We want everyone to read our other reviews and understand that driving across country, taking care of pets, making customers happy is no easy feat." ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Not too thrilled. My dog was supposed to be going on a 3 day trip from Las Vegas to North Carolina. This turned into a 5 day trip without a heads up because she drove back down into California to get another dog, then up to Pennsylvania to drop off another dog before driving to me. It's a business and a strategic dog drop off commute, and I get that, but a heads up would have been great. My mom said that the kennels didn't have blankets in the car when Milo was picked up and my dog had kennel cough by the time he arrived, sniffles, the works. He was extremely depressed and stressed out, wouldn't even make eye contact and only staired at the wall the first 24 hours of being home. She didn't even tell me that he seemed sick, and it was very obvious once I took him inside. Her and her daughter were very kind, they did send me photos and updates along the way. I was deeply disappointed in this transporter. If this was not an extreme emergency we would have forfeit our initial deposit. Upon the arrival of the transporter, one dog being transported was drooling at the mouth as if he was thirsty. The dog's cage was soiled and she covered it up with a dog pad, she didn't think it was important to clean it before her arrival. She arrived with no mask or even gloves during COVID -19. We had to wait for the driver to make space in the van to add our dog and his cage because she was not properly prepared to receive our dog. This driver needs training on time management and cleanliest and customer service. Her text during the drive were very rude. It was difficult to tell she had been doing this for 10 years and still having performance issues. The driver kept us on hold waiting on a afternoon pickup that turned into a 10:30 pm pickup. The drop off was suppose to be at noon the next day, instead it was 11:00 pm at night. We understood time modifications but with proper time management that could have decrease delays or lower expectations. This was simply piss poor planning on the transporter part. Proper planning would have accounted for unforeseen delays and allow for advising customer with information to make a feasible solution that would work for everyone involved. She indicated she was pulled over and she was instructed to park for swaying on the road. Experience drivers know their limits. Thank God this was not a tragic ending. The best we can say about her is the dog arrive Take my advice CHOOSE ANOTHER TRANSPORTER that you can trust. She is not trust worthy and customer service manners needs work as well.I promise you will be happy choosing someone else.. Do your homework and ask ALL the detail questions. Leave nothing to chance.. Needless to say NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Amy was very nice and her price was fair, she was always really nice on the phone. With that being said, I would not recommend her as a transport. We needed a Bloodhound puppy transported from Georgia to Oregon. She did not communicate with us on her timeline for picking up our pup until I had to say we would find someone else. She did not communicate with us her locations throughout the day until I asked. We did receive a few pictures, but not every 4 hours like her bio states. She stated that she could get him to us in 3.5 days. It took 5 days, which we understand it taking that long with only 1 driver, but again she didn’t communicate that to us until the timeline for delivery had come and gone. Additionally upon pick up of our pup to be informed by Amy that she had allowed random people at various destinations to handle and play with OUR bloodhound pup while transporting him just because they wanted to feel how soft he was. She also left him unattended in the vehicle not in a crate. He was definitely not in the condition that he left the breeder in, nor what we would expect him to be on arrival due to the transport conditions.

We discussed a shipping arrangement to pick up a kitten for an appx 1500 mile trip. Tyler was quick to respond initially prior to booking and stated he could help as long as a pickup could be accommodated for a certain day. Once I booked, he didn't bother to call to discuss logistics/details at all. I chased and asked multiple times and always received the same excuse that he is driving on the road and will call shortly. The breeder needed to work out the logistics asap since she has a full time job and Tyler failed to confirm anything in 4 days. I called which went to VM and texted multiple times to try and coordinate. I understand being bust but if someone cannot take 5 minutes to call and discuss logistics even after being asked multiple times, I would not feel comfortable for them to pick up any pets and deliver them cross country.

I took a chance with this company and more specifically, with Brooke because of her apparent open & honest intro. It appealed to me and made me believe that since this was her 1st transport with citizenshipper, she would be eager to impress. And impress she did! True to her word she helped me to continually grow trust for her work ethic. She kept in touch with me throughout the journey. She sent different pics at various points of the trip. Such as when she fed him, while he was in his travel thing-ee and even when he did his bathroom business! TMI !!! All of this added to my comfort level with Brooke.
