Darryl was amazingly conscientious and flexible! He picked up my dog at O'Hare International, and brought her all the way to southern New Mexico, a trip of over 1500 miles. He stopped at the pet store beforehand and bought dog food for her for the long trip. She had already traveled all the way from Southeast Asia,so it was a VERY long journey for her. Darryl was patient, and made the trip in under 48 hours to get her here safely! He was always in contact with me along the way, often sending photos. His price was more than fair. Use this driver only if you don't need the shipment picked up or delivered within a certain time frame. Like the other recent reviews, we had an agreed upon time frame for shipment that he did not fulfill. He kept pushing back the pick up date, was non-responsive for about a week when I was trying to figure out why he never showed for the pick up. He pushed back the pick up 3 times and only responded finally when I tried to cancel the shipment because it was past the date my clients needed it by at that point. I lost a big sale and also had furniture not listed for a month, which I now have to relist. I understand the whole deal with guys like this, that they drive all over and try to deliver as much as they can, but Steve needs to be upfront with people about being consistently way behind. He was 2 weeks late with a shipment he did for me in the past. Don't agree to a set time frame if you can't uphold it.

If I could giver her zero stars I would. I told Becca from the beginning that my dog was a very skittish and fearful dog due to his experience before I adopted him. I reiterated this the day before she was due to pick him up. At no point was I told that I would lose my deposit if she felt she couldn't handle the dog and that she would refuse to pick him up. In fact, all I heard was how much experience she had with rescues, especially former hunting dogs. After showing up over two hours late without calling (I had to text her to see where she was the morning of pick up), she expected to leave her vehicle running, throw my dog into a crate without evening trying to get him comfortable with her and dash off. After a whole five minutes of "assessing the situation" she determined the dog could be a flight risk and refused to complete the delivery. While I understand and appreciate that she did not want to be responsible for losing my dog, I would have appreciated honesty up front about her limitations. Also she told me she would refund half my deposit since she didn't complete the delivery. I've yet to see a refund of any kind so now I'm out the $79 I paid Citizen Shipper and the $188 deposit I paid TIpton Tails. Very disappointed and frustrated with the first AND LAST time I will ever use Citizen Shipper.

Glad my daughters young cat got to her safely. This was our first experience using a service like this so I didn’t know what to expect. Dave was friendly, as was his two counterparts who traveled with him. I wish Dave was more responsive during the trip. While I could locate his location anytime, I didn’t get any sense how the cat was doing. I asked for pictures, which I did get, but they were of Tucker in his cage... and also with the wrong food. It would have been nice to see him outdoors (using the harness and leash I provided) or being pet so I could feel like he was taken well care of. Sometimes seeing is believing, especially during this kind of service. I would recommend that Dave and his co transporters be much more engaged with their client and the pets so there is peace of mind from start to finish. Again, seeing is believing. Thank you for taking Tucker from CA to NH safely. My daughter is very happy to have her home.

I was very worried from the beginning that this might be some kind of a new scam but he put me at ease right away answered all of my questions and even some questions I didn't know I should have asked. He walked me through the whole thing from what is needed to transport the puppy to how he was going to transport the puppy even before I had given my booking information. He dealt with everything on the breeder side so I did not have to be a go between and kept me informed by showing me his exact location during transport so it really put me at ease the whole time.
