There was a family emergency with the first carrier and so pickup was two days late. Then it took 6 days for transport, which I thought was an awfully long time for a cat to be on the road in a cage. I understand that it was this carrier's very first transport. Her name is June and she was very personable and delivered my cat safely. All in all if I was to hazard a suggestion for this company, it would be better communication as I had to call them whenever I was wondering how much longer it would be before delivery.

Alex and his co driver are the ones who brought my fur baby to me. I was so nervous at first because I was moving and found out last minute I could not take her on the plane anymore. One of the main reasons I picked this driver was the nice vehicle listed so the pup could travel comfortably. From the start communication was lacking, which was partially my fault since I've never done this before. Though really that should have caused her to step up more and help me through this process. It wasn't until a couple days before the dog was going to be transported that I found out they were flying, so the rescue we were getting him from didn't have the proper paperwork. Traci said not to worry about, the security is pretty lax at the airport she uses... She was late picking up the dog from the rescue and cut the flight what I felt was pretty close. Once I did have the dog safely in hand it wasn't until after she drove away that I realized she never gave us the food the rescue had sent with him or any of his records! Her phone was turned off though it had been less than 20 minutes from the exchange. She finally called back 2 days later promising to mail the records. I gave her my mother's address to mail them to (it's her new dog) and mine for the return address so we'd be sure to get them. That was a month ago and no sign of them yet. We've only been able to retrieve his last vet visit records, everything else is irretrievably lost, including his rabies vaccination certificate. What a fiasco! At least the dog got hear safely which was the point, but I'll definitely be doing more research if I ever need to hire another transporter!! I friendly personality is just not enough.

I live in Orange County, Ca. and needed to have my 12 week old Shepard mix brought to me from Greenville, S.C. I had never used Citizenpper.com nor had I ever used a Pet Chauffer/Delivery Service. Upon placing my request, I received upwards of 30 bid responses. I narrowed my selection down to 3. The deciding factor for making Door To Door Pet Delivery was the dialogue I had with the co-owner, Rachel. She was prompt with her responses, articulate, friendly, professional, and reassuring. Upon setting dates for pickup and delivery, she reassured me that they would meet my requested delivery date. Once the journey began, her husband, Thomas was subject to inclement weather on the way to pick up my pup. But Rachel kept in close contact throughout. Once Thomas picked up my pup, he introduced himself and proceeded to provide at least 3 check-ins a day to let me know the status as well as providing me pics of my pup. And whenever I inquired, he was quick to respond. Thomas delivered my pup to me in 3.5 days. I already had a favorable impression of him based on our discussions. But he solidified that when we met. My pup had left a home of comfort and love not knowing what lie ahead - it had to have been a traumatic experience. But Thomas went out of his way to ensure his safety, that he was taken care of with love and compassion. For anyone who needs the services of kind and loving people who will treat their dog as if there own, look no further than Door To Door Pet Delivery. Five Star service to say the least!

Darryl was an amazing choice to drive my grandpa’s 12 year old dog to Colorado from NJ. Our dog was on medication and a special diet and he had no problem keeping up with it on the road. He kept us posted everyday and got there remarkably fast. I was a bit skeptical at first from finding someone online to move our dog but it ended up being an amazing experience. 1000% recommend him for anyone wanting to move their pets by vehicle.

The most trusting pet care giver I’ve ever worked with! Where to begin, TLC was perfect. I needed transport from Houston to Little Rock within hours due to an emergency and TLC saved the day! The driver/ owner-operator was so good with dogs. We met and talked for quite some time so she was sure I was comfortable with her taking my dog, who also happens to be my best friend, on such a long journey. She did more than reassure me. It was easy to tell right from meeting her that she really really cares for animals. She was very gentle and absolutely capable of understanding my dogs needs and mine. TLC is a pet transport that can cater to the needs of people who really love and care for their pets like they are humans. I would not hesitate to use this service again and probably would never use another one. The price was super fair and worth every penny ( I felt I should throw in a good tip it was so reasonable). If TLC gives you a quote, my advice is to take it! You will not be disappointed and it will be worth every penny. If you do use TLC, please leave a review too. It helps us all when we can keep people who are passionate about what they do in their positions. :-)

AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! – Danta was fantastic. He moved a 19 Foot Boston Whaler on a trailer about half way across the country. He was on time and on budget. Excellent communication at every step of the way. He was well priced over his competitors and provided an exceptional service. We had to do a timed delivery and he was right on schedule. I would not hesitate to use him again. He’s a super nice guy, trustworthy, and is extremely reliable. Using citizen shipper was a first for me. Danta proved that some people might hesitate using a service like this, but it is well worth it. A little background on him, he is retired and does this as a side job. He started moving pets (cats and dogs) and then he said he was able to take on larger hauls and the business has just grown. Shipped a 75lb pitbull. Upon pickup Monica & Chris were extremely sweet and friendly. It was clear they fell in love with my sweet boy. They showed me the vehicle with clean blankets and pillows and they sent updates/ pictures every day multiple times a day and he was dropped off in an extremely timely manner. Trip was very fast and I loved that he was the only dog. They gave him his medication he needed throughout the trip without any issues. All items that were picked up were dropped. Wonderful experience booking with them, highly recommend!
