I can admit I was a little skeptical about doing something like this, as I've never done it before and didn't even know it was a thing. After carefully doing my research, I chose Gary. He rode with my cat from The Villages to Scottadale, a 31 hour drive. He had a spacious cage for ny cat and a little box set up for him, informed me cats won't eat or drink much during traveling, and let me say my good byes, and off they went. He got there in as little as 2 days, which that's amazing. Very nice gentleman, courteous. Just the right price, and I caught him at just the right time. He got my cat to where he needed to be, and kept me updated throughout their journey. I would recommend him to others and definitely use him again if ever needed! Thank you Gary. I don't even know where to begin; my experience from the onset with Sara was just stellar! Her level of professionalism is on point. From the initial post that I put on Citizen Shipper, Sara responded thoroughly and within minutes of each of my questions. I chose Sara because of her ability to organize, communicate, and be transparent on all aspects of transportation. Not only that, but she also has very tight infectious control protocols in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our fur baby and herself. Her and her husband are genuine animal lovers and showcase that in all areas. She ensured the breeder had everything in order and triple checked with me a week before, a few days before and the day before pickup to make sure that nothing that was promised wasn't delivered. She also made very thoughtful recommendations and accommodated my sweet little puppy to always make her feel loved. She shares her location, texts pictures and videos along the route, and will even FaceTime so that you know your pet is in great hands at all times of transport. IF I COULD GIVE A REVIEW WITH ZERO STARS I WOULD. The first (and last) experience with this “business” was an absolute nightmare. I was turned away for a flight and needed to transport a two-month-old Doberman puppy to a client as quickly as possible. (Not their fault, obviously.) We were matched using a website I now refuse to use due to this debacle. They were supposed to be background checked and vetted. That’s a JOKE. I spoke to “Sarah” on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020. I explained my dilemma and requested ASAP pick up and delivery. She stated she had flexible clients and would “put us next”. We agreed she would try to be here by Sunday/Monday. On Saturday afternoon, I was assured they were leaving North Carolina “this evening” on the way to Texas. She estimated Sunday evening or Monday morning pick up. I was confident I had booked a great shipment, and eagerly called my client to report possible delivery as early as Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020. Sunday after 5:00 pm I called and Sarah answered. When I inquired for an update, I was told, “We had to let a driver go, and we had to let a scheduler go, so I’m sorry. We’ll be leaving tonight, and we should be there by Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2020. Alarmed but understanding that they had to let someone go, I nervously reached out to my client, who was disappointed, but understanding. Tuesday evening, I received a call. “Good news!” says Sarah, “We had a cancellation. We’ll be there sooner than expected. We should be in Texas by Thursday.” Immediately, I had to fight my impulse to ask if she suffers from severe Alzheimer’s or advanced dementia. Last we spoke she was to be at my home as we were speaking. “I’m sorry,” I said, “Are you maybe calling the wrong person? You’re supposed to be here today.” “Oh…I didn’t call you? We had a breakdown. I can show you the bill if you want to see it. But we’ll be there Thursday morning.” Thursday evening, I called again. (Get used to be the one doing the calling once you pay these people. Before payment, however, Sarah will call you.) “I’m so sorry. We had a blow-out. We went ahead and bought four brand new tires [with the money you already paid us]. We’ll be there tomorrow morning. We’re sooo sorry.” Furious, I wrestled with the impulse to begin hollering. I apologized for allowing some of my frustration to seep through, and she threatened to cancel my shipment.” (You’re expected to keep calm as they trounce your reputation.) I told her I’d have my husband take the day off so we wouldn’t miss her pick up. I asked her if I could count on her. I was assured I could. On Friday morning, I bathed the puppy and got him ready (yet again) for pick up. By noon I began to suspect I’d yet again been lied to. By Friday afternoon, I was angry again. I called. I text. There was no reply. The sun had gone down by the time my three voice mails resulted in a call. Cecil, the owner of the business, and also Sarah’s father, called me back. I did my best to tell him my perception of things, and though he was apologetic, he talked over me for 80% of the conversation, so I’m not certain if he even knew what he was apologizing for. Yet again, I was issued another mechanical failure exuse. This time, he described it by saying, “We had a truck fall out from underneath us.” Like an IDIOT, I believed this man when he said he would update me by noon the next day, Saturday, with a pick up that afternoon. Saturday came and went AGAIN without an update from either clown running this fraud, despite repeated calls and texts. Having worked in transportation for YEARS, I know what ridiculousness this is. I fired them Sunday. I no longer felt safe handing them a live animal. I wouldn’t ship a canine corpse with this scam. I couldn’t rely on them to SHOW UP for work, much more perform their services with a puppy worth thousands of dollars. I could have WALKED there faster with the dog on my back. I could have sent a carrier pigeon and it would’ve been more reliable. I wish I would have minded the review I’d already seen that said they never showed up. Because THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!!! But wait, there’s MORE! When I fired them, I asked for my money back, and I received a text back with a screen shot of their overdrawn bank account. Can’t say I was surprised. They took my money, invested it in their unreliable vehicle, and were still nowhere to be found at a full week late, which is a NO SHOW in any business log. Worst. Experience. Ever.

Throughout the entire process he sent me a ton of pictures and always answered my calls within the same minute. I could not have asked for more smooth process they are true professionals. I was very excited to work with Baileys Best Care as they were very prompt with replies to any questions I had prior to the pets being picked up however, once I got a driver it all went down hill. The driver had called me when they were picking the pets up and had seemed flustered when I was explaining where they would need to be picked up at even though it had been put down in the paperwork prior to. The driver seemed irritated that they needed to go to a different location of the airport and said they wished they had known prior when they could have easily called or asked any questions prior to. Then once driver arrived to receive the pets they called stating they would not be able to fit the pets crates even though I had confirmed the measurements of the crates prior to booking the transport. The drivers response was that she didn’t think she was supposed to be the original driver. She stated she had a metal crate in her car and could try to put one Dog in there and collapse the other crates and try to get everyone to fit. I said if she needed to leave one of the plastic crates behind in order to make them fit that was okay as it was too late to schedule any other plans for their transportation. I had never received a call back on if she was able to make it work or not or any status updates. After that phone call questioning being able to transport I received one phone call hours later (the next day) stating the dogs were going potty and that was the last I had ever heard. I was never notified when the pets arrived at their location, no periodic status updates, no photos nothing. I was left completely in the blue during transport and was very unhappy with the service provided. Especially that I was never even given a notification that they had arrived safely at the end location. This trip was from Chicago to upstate New York so I feel there absolutely should have been more communication. I’m still unsure as to where either of their shipping crates are, if they were left at the cargo station at the airport or what happened to them. All I know is I no longer have either crate or the contents of them other then the pets themselves
