If I could give VIP Pet Delivery 10 stars I would. I can’t speak highly enough of Rachel and her company. She brought our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from Montana to Philly. We were originally going to fly him back ourselves, but with the pandemic going on, it being the holiday season, and hearing my doctor say I should wait until next year and get a puppy from another litter, we decided we couldn’t take the risk of traveling. We were running out of time because he was turning 9 weeks old when we had planned to pick him up and we knew that we were on the cusp of him getting too big to fly in the cabin of the plane. If we couldn’t figure out a way to safely transport him to the East coast, we weren’t going to get our puppy. I googled “Pet Transport” and CitizenShipper popped up. I submitted my job and almost immediately I received a bid from Rachel. I was impressed at the start. I loved that VIP Pet Delivery is a small family company and really everything in her introduction really sold me. Out of the few bids I received, I decided to pursue the job with her. Her communication is outstanding. And with each message I could tell that she truly knew what she was doing -- that she had experience with this type of work. That was extremely important to me. She was willing to do the job on such short notice and so close to Christmas. And her bid was very reasonable. I truly believe that if it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have gotten our little baby. Also, she’s tenacious. If she says she’s going to bring your fur baby to you, she’s going to do it. There was an issue with the airline allowing her to board in Montana with our pup. She persisted and wasn’t going to give up. And she persevered. She was very communicative leading up to the trip and she stayed in touch all day during her day of pickup and travel. We got to see every step with pictures. The most important thing though is that she took such good care of him. She loves what she does and it shows. We are truly grateful to Rachel. If you ever need pet transport, she is the person to call.

I can not say enough good things about our recent experience with Alex and Alecia. After our original transport canceled on us last minute, they stepped up to transport our dog Bailey cross country from Georgia to California. Back and forth communication was great from the beginning and the bid price was more than reasonable. We were lucky enough to live near Alex and Alecia and they made a special trip to come visit Bailey before the trip. They were prompt to pick her up and delivered her even earlier than anticipated. We will 100% contact them in the future when we need to transport Bailey again.

The thing others should know is that communication with this shipper is often slow, but not for a negative reason. It did not occur to me early on that because this shipper flies your pet, he is often out of reach while airborne. But he responds promptly when he can. My only complaint would be that I was to get a communique 24-48 hrs prior to flight time but didn't receive it until closer to 12 hours before. My pup traveled safely and well and I was delighted with the service.

We were extremely hesitant to send our fur baby off on such a long road trip with a perfect stranger, but right away Donna put our minds at ease. She was extremely communicative and accessible both in advance of the pick-up as well as throughout the entire journey. Donna sent lots of photos along the way and we appreciated being able to follow her progress while on route. Overall, we felt confident our dog was safe and relaxed with her, and she arrived in record time. We would highly recommend and would use Donna again if the need ever arises!
