The thought of pulling a puppy from her mom and litter mates and shipping her over a thousand miles in a crate was really upsetting to me. How much trauma would that pup be subject to being in a crate for over 14 hours? THEN ALONG CAME DAWN! She and her husband picked up our baby and literally hand carried her 1/2 way across the country. She sent me pictures of her throughout the trip and I was even able to track her driving with a GPS app! She treated our baby as if she was her own.Della came to us, happy and calm with no signs of stress.I cannot say enough about Dawn or her husband Duane. She transported my dear friend's two cats to their new family in Kansas and was so loving and caring with them during the whole trip that began in Michigan. My friend's wish before she passed was for her fur babies to have a wonderful home and be together. I had no idea how I would get them to Kansas to their new family who was eagerly waiting for them. Shelly was such an answer to my prayers! She was on time both picking them up and delivering them. No run around, on time and delivery (rescue cat) was content and happy when she arrived. I provided Lillypad my requested timeframe. Lillypad went out of their way to meet “my” needs and followed through. They also use a map tracking service so you can follow on the trip to delivery. I loved it! I didn’t have to guess what was going on and it eases the anxiety of the trip for me. Lillypad called the pickup location and provided details and discussion of arrival to them, confirmed with me when they were on way, arrival to pickup and when on way to me. I followed the entire way using the app. I was even more impressed when I called the pickup person to let them know she has arrived safely, to find out Lillypad had already called them to let them know! Pick up was smooth, I was able to relay phone numbers with the pick up contact, and the original owner of the pup would tell me how sweet she was, which I’m sure was comforting on their end. This was our first time having an animal shipped to us this way, and Maria was very accommodating, asking if we’d like to Video call at pick up. We assured just a picture would be enough. She gave us that as well as pictures and videos of the puppy and GPS locations along the way. It was very reassuring for us, especially when we would ask questions about the puppy and checked in and answered all questions. When they arrived, she was very sweet and helped bring everything in that came with the puppy. I was in a total bind and Louis ended up being our savior. He transported our Anatolian Shepherd from Lexington North Carolina to Agua Dulce, CA. He picked up the puppy at 3am Wednesday and she was at our door at 8am Friday. She was pasture raised and not friendly with people until she spent a couple of days with Louis. She was bonded to him in that little amount of time. It was actually sad when he drove off because she didn't understand whey she couldn't go with him. So he obviously genuinely cares for these animals he transports. In addition to the calls, texts, and photos, he taught her to walk on a leash. And he had the most competitive quote out of any one who bid. He is also looking out for us the consumers. I had only been messaging with the breeder and he insisted that I call and get more information. He also instructed me not to pay for the puppy until he got there and confirmed that the situation was legit and the puppy was the one that I selected. I will use him for all my future transports. Super flaky, if he gets a better gig you’ll be blown off. I reached out 36 hours before my move to be told “I need a few more days” uhhh...what? So, I agree on 48 hours after my initial move and then I can’t get a straight answer on when he will show up and get told “we’ll I got a $6,000 shipment and I may be able to get there I don’t know”. Had to find someone else the day before I move because of this. Too much unneeded stress before a move, they aren’t things you can just keep postponing.
