I contacted Jenna S. to transport my dog Rosie from Bainbridge Island WA to Orland Park IL, We agreed on the charge, the pick up date (Sept 30) and the delivery date October 2. On Sept 30 we waited all day and late in the evening for Rosie to be picked up. When I called Jenna to see what had happened ,she said she had bad weather and wouldn't pick up until the following day. I was disappointed that she hadn't bothered to tell us about the change in the pick up date. When she picked up Rosie, Jenna now said it would be 2-4 days before Rosie would be delivered. At the end of the 4th day, I contacted her only to find out it would be another day or two. Rosie was delivered the 6th day after being picked up late. The whole affair was disorganized and without any sort of effort to keep us informed about all the changes. I sense that Jenna loves animals, but I will never use her services again.

I had a great experience with Shawn. We were on a time crunch b/c our puppy had to be delivered the same day b/c my parents were leaving the next morning on a flight very early. Shawn had a flat tire and went through a flash flood. He did not know we were on a time constraint and he was going to deliver the next day but once he found out he was able yo deliver our beautiful puppy just in time to head for the airport. Words can't express the amount of gratitude I feel for having selected Libertys Transport to reunite me with my animal. I left Texas, and traveled to Oregon to accept an assignment at one of the hospitals. I left my animal in a kennel knowing somehow, someway I would get him here. I had no idea of how difficult that would be until I called countless airlines and other animal transporters. Not only were they overpriced, the hoops I would have to jump through to get him here on their terms and conditions had turned into an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this company. I have had nothing but problems since I paid them. I have tried numerous times to call the owner of the company and the driver that I paid and no answer. I have also sent text messages and still received no answers. Then I received a message stating that they couldn't pick up my cat because of non-payment so I sent them both a screen shot of my bank account (blanking out all personal information) showing that it was indeed paid and also a screenshot of my PayPal stating that it had been paid through the way they asked me to and with the drivers information. Still no reply and they did not pick up my cat! I just want my cat home!!!

The driver I booked told me he’d pick up my dog by Monday. He started driving from the east coast to pick her up from Washington state to Colorado. In that time, he asked for a $175 deposit. Then asked for $432, then the rest of the $500 because “he couldn’t afford all the gas, food, and water.” We told him we’d send the rest of the money but we’d need to talk to his boss whenever he dropped off our dog to us. After sending him the money, he told us he was only a couple hours away from the pickup location. After that we haven’t heard anything from him. We’ve been texting and calling him nonstop since yesterday evening. I don’t know what’s going on but now we’re down $1,000 and we don’t know if our dog is even getting picked up anymore. Very unprofessional and unreliable.

My two bull dogs traveled from California to Texas. Shawn kept in contact. There were some delays (which I did not care about) and he was honest and kept communicating new times. Personally we told Shawn to be safe in driving and stop when he or the dogs needed to so I don’t care if they were delivered hours “late” because we told him that was fine and safety first. He even tried to take money off for delay but he worked for every penny in my opinion. He messaged and called me about concerns with the dogs along the way. And sent pictures twice. Platinum had some of the most reasonable rates. The driver,Thomas, was very responsive and friendly and sent pictures regularly. He genuinely loves dogs. I was very happy that he was only hauling one other dog besides my dog and his own dog, who always travels with him. All the dogs were friendly so he was able to haul them uncrated. This was a great blessing for me as my dog hated crates.They had nice beds to sleep in and he stopped frequently for them. He also fed her and gave her her medication. He picked her up on time. She was supposed to be delivered within 24 hours. He was about 5 hours late delivering her which caused some inconvenience to the person where the dog was being delivered but she did not consider it a big deal at all and we were all glad he was so kind and considerate of the animals. I would not hesitate to use Thomas and/or Platinum again.

I booked our puppy to be picked up through Bailey's Best Care 1 month before moving from MI to TX to have our puppy picked up on Oct 1 at the latest. I never received a proactive call/email to be updated on any challenge his drivers were having to prevent my puppy from being picked up. We had to reach out several times for a firm date and did not receive one until a couple of days before he was going to be able to have someone out to pick up our puppy. I asked the puppy be picked up by Oct 1st at the latest. On Sept 28th found out the driver is unable to make it due to surgery but he can have someone else pick up the dog. He will let me know asap. By October 3rd he has found someone with a car who could pick up the dog, but we would not be able to use our kennel as originally discussed (would not have been a big deal if we knew to plan for sending our kennel with the movers). He assured me the evening before pick up that the driver with the SUV would come to pick up our puppy as planned (Oct 5th). The evening of and after we called/emailed him, he called back 2 hours post-delivery time and said the person scheduled to pick up the dog was having car trouble. I am extremely frustrated at this point as we would have had our puppy by now and not requested our family extend the puppy's stay. I feel strung along so Shaun could get the sale and that he did not have our family's best interest in mind. If you have more than you can handle, don't take on the job.

I would not recommend this driver to anyone, unless they have total flexibility in his or her schedule or all the time in the world. Pickup was scheduled September 25, but due to an accident with the transportation vehicle, pickup had to be postponed. Thankfully, I would not have to have my cat boarded, as my associate would look after her until they could reschedule. Transportation was then scheduled for Monday, September 30 before 8:00 am or after 5:30 pm. Shawn confirmed she would pick up my cat that night. But my associate hadn’t heard from Shawn, so he texted me. I called Shawn and she said she had texted my associate that Monday would not work but October 2 between the hours of 3:00 am and 4:00 am would. (He and I never received this text although we did receive all others from her) We then confirmed pickup for October 2 between the stated hours. However, on October 2, Shawn never showed up. My associate even waited an extra five hours, until 8:00 am. When I called her, she then said she could only come at 2:00 pm. She was well aware my associate would not be available until after 6:30 pm or 7:00 pm. She refused to wait the four hours, even though she said she was in the local area. Because pickup times did not work within in her time frame, Shawn was unwilling to transport my cat. Why or how would this 4-hour wait be any different from a roadside rest/sleep or walk break? I have transported other animals and have never encountered this type of scheduling situation and problems. Animals are normally contained in a temperature-balanced environment with food and water. Normally, transport travels for four hours and then stops to walk and exercise dogs. -----------------------Driver's response: Dear Customer, I am very sorry your feeling how you are But from the moment you booked, you are made aware that this is a 24-hour service and we are unable to sit and wait for every customer to show up. If we did this for every customer we would never get our dogs delivered safely and on time. Also,you were made aware at the time of booking that your cats needed a valid USDA health certificate which you said you had. Yes, we were delayed due to an accident (which resulted in the death of one of my drivers) and I am very sorry for that but when it came time for pick up you informed me that all you had was vet records and not an actual health cert. This was the day prior to pick up formed you that we would be that in order to transport and you said you would have no problem getting that. It was explained the timeframe that we would be picking up your pet and you were more than willing to accommodate that. When we informed your associate of the time frame he said Nothing about that time frame is unable to be accommodated then you proceeded to call me that morning and explain to me that I would have to wait until 6 or 7 but that wasn't even a guarantee because he was in a very important meeting hand when us unable to leave the meeting. I explain to you that it was impossible for me to sit around with a van full of pets and extreme temperatures and wait for you or someone else to give us the cat. I made every suggestion I could to attempted to pick up your cat with the understanding that you did have a valid health certificate at that time. Once again, you informed me that you were unable to get it. I explain to you that we were unable to transport the cat without it. I understand that you're not happy in this situation but I have to follow the law that that USDA puts in place for animal transport. Your behavior became increasingly erratic and you started to use cuss words at me And tell me I was lying about the car accident even though I had shown you proof and I ended the conversation on that note. Again, I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding and maybe I didn't explain myself clear enough but I offered to pick up your cat on our next route to try to accommodate this as long as you had a valid health certificate. If I take an animal without a health certificate it puts all the other pets on board at risk for contracting some type of disease that could have been prevented by having one. I really hope that you find someone to transport your cat accordingly and a very sorry that this did not work out.
