Currently , I do not know where my dog is , as my calls nor texts are being returned by the driver----------------------------Driver's Rebuttal: There is no reason for this woman to try to ruin my reputation. I agree we had mechanical problems during this time. My office/partner/brother cut off my phone and cards during this time, and he was fired for his actions. What she failed to say is I didn’t charge her a dime of the $1000 fee and I sent pictures everyday along the way... it just seems a bit hateful to me

DEFINITELY DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS SHIPPER. He took my two dogs (Golden Retriever and German Shepherd, 3 and 1.5 years old) on a 3 day trip to Indiana from Cali. Somehow ended up with 8 dogs in the cab of a small pickup truck. BOTH OF MY DOGS DIED OF HEAT EXHAUSTION and now he is threatening legal action against me for not paying him. Neither of my dogs made it home. If you care at all for your pets, DO NOT use Theodore. My dogs are now dead.

When the driver picked up my 8 week old kitten she stated she may be an hour or so later than expected. She picked up the kitten at 10 am and at 4 I texted her to see where she was. I asked if she was at Portland yet (2 hrs from my location), She told me she was about 2 hours away. When I calculated it out, that would mean my 8 week old tiny kitten would be in a vehicle traveling 9 hours instead of the agreed to 5 hrs. She told me she had "forgot" about another transport... and was sorry for the "confusion". She also said the kitten was fine and had water, a litter box and a bed. Key missing information - NO food. When I pointed this out she then offered to go pick up some food for it. She said the person she got the kitten from didn't provide any food. Instead of notifying me of the fact the kitten didn't have food at pickup or that it would be an additional 4 hours I didn't get notified of any of this until I questioned her. Upset would be an understatement. I was never notified the kitten didn't have food until I questioned it and I was never given the opportunity to re-schedule transport or pick someone else. Had I known it would take 8.5 - 9 hrs to transport him I would have picked someone else. I had different offers and chose her specifically even though she was more expensive as she could give a pickup time. She offered to drop the price to 150. She even offered to waive the fee. The problem isn't the amount - it's communication and doing what is right for a tiny animal. I wish I would have been notified of all of these things before she picked up the kitten. As I told her, I was extremely disappointed. I will never hire transport again. I wish I would have gone and picked him up myself. Horrible experience. She even accused me of being awful and questioned my communication with others when I became very upset at her repeatedly asking me if I wanted her to pick up food for the kitten. Seriously... if you've got vet experience you don't transport an 8 wk old kitten for 9 hours with no food. She shouldn't have had to ask and I should have been notified immediately that he came with no food and that the transport time would be almost double what was originally quoted. Just horrible experience. *******************************************************DRIVER REBUTTAL: "Hello, The customer states that there was no communication that I was going to be late, this is very false. We never had a planned drop off time to begin with. I had told her that drop off would be around 6 hours after pick up give or take. She was fine with this. When I picked up the kitten for her I let her know that I had another pick up and had thought it was a little closer. I informed her that I would be a couple hours later then the rough estimate I had already given her, she stated that she was fine with that and that she was out on the coast fishing. I have attached a picture of this message. She never expressed any concern or interest in rescheduling or canceling. I told her that I would be a couple hours late and in total was only about 3 hours later then the original rough estimated time... she agreed to the later time and I was within the changed time frame at drop off. She also claims that I did not feed her kitten on the trip and that I let it go 8 hours with out food. This is very untrue and a damaging accusation. After apologizing profusely after she expressed that she was upset about me being late I offered to Lower the fee or wave it completely. She goes on in her review about how I didn’t tell her that cat had no food and that I didn’t feed the cat. After stating that I had asked the pick up lady for food for the kitten and she told me she didn’t have any. I asked the customer repeatedly what kind of food the kitten eats and told her I would pick some up for him. She refused to tell me what kind of food the kitten would be eating and even stated that if she told me I would be wasting time looking for it and that her kitten would just suffer longer... implying that her kitten was somehow being mistreated by me because of a few hour delay. After her refusal to advise me what food to get the kitten I stopped at the store and picked up a can of Purina kitten food for him and fed it to him. The animal was very well cared for and never starved or mistreated. "**************************************

I was worried she would be confused or scared ...but EMI made sure to send me plenty of pics...and video...sammie was just having a great time! Whenever I had a question or update, she responded in good time....helped me to keep from worrying. I would absolutely recommend EMI. Her personality was amazing, a total dog person....which is extremely important in helping the dog feel comfortable and loved throughout the trip. She fed her healthy food and treats. I finally have my baby home! After calling each airport individually I found out that he would not be allowed to fly on any airline even with a special crate because of "his breed" I knew ground transport was the only other option. All I could find were companys who were charging insane amounts. Then we posted what we needed on citizen shipper. I was very hesitant to try citizenshipper because I have never heard of the company before but I'm glad I did. I paid a fair price and My boy was picked up from CA and brought across country to us to VA! That is no small trip! He was stressed out and needed some time to settle in but I think that would be any animal who had just been transported across country. They drove through a rough sand storm and my dog was scared of the noise so they stopped to cover his cage with a blanket. I really appreciate the time you guys took to care for and bring my boy home! Driver and helper sent me pics of my boy when i asked, gave me updates multiple times a day, and called to let me know about unexpected delays. I will forever reccomend you guys to anyone who asks about any type of transport company. Thank you so much!

The GPS tracking was great as we could track the vehicle anytime we wanted and the Camera in the vehicle allowed us to view our dog anytime while he traveled. Everything was great with this company when I hired D. He was responsive, and easy to work with. We made a deal with him to trailer my car and transport my dog and car from Tampa to Ohio. I venmo’d a $250 deposit, and waited for pickup day. D delayed pickup day 24 hours, and I had to catch a flight, so I left my husband and son in charge of meeting D and making the dog/car pickup. D kept me posted while he traveled from Michigan to Florida .... rented a trailer for the car, and all seemed fine, til then. D was 7 more hours late on the day of pickup, and arrived around 9:30pm at the designated meeting place. He and his buddy who was traveling with him couldn’t figure out how to safely strap the car onto the trailer, Even with the help of my husband and 3 random guys who happened to be hanging out in the nearby MacDonald’s!! My husband gave him $175 in cash to get a hotel room for the night, and figure things out in the morning, even though they got increasing nervous that these guys didn’t know what they were doing..... and were nervous about them being responsible for my car AND my dog! D had shared his location with me, so I could follow his progress all the way down to Florida, which I did. The next morning, when my husband was going to meet D and buddy to try again, my husband woke up at 7am to find that D’s GPS location was 150 miles NORTH of our meeting place..... he had bailed on us!! No text, no “I’m sorry, I just can’t do this”, no “I’ll Refund your money”... NOTHING. And I was left, already in Ohio, with my dog and car still in Florida. UGH. After a couple hours of emails and texts to a neighbor and friend network, I had 3 wonderful offers from people willing to drive my car and dog to Ohio. Driver, Dog, and Car are on their way to meet me, but I’m out $450 from Quality Care Pet Express, and days of total frustration. I have transported my car several times before, without any problem... but this experience has soured me on all online arrangements.... I understand that things happen, but Dialo, the driver AND OWNER of Quality Care Pet Express just had to fess up, apologize, and refund any portion of my money—-that would have been the responsible thing to do.

I am very pleased with my experience with Citizenshipper and my driver. I was extremely nervous about the whole transaction, including the purchase I made that required a shipper. It was going to cost almost double for any method of shipping that I found. I happened to come across Citizenshipper and after looking through everything, decided to place an add. I got a few offers, but this one ended up being the best value. I was very nervous due to him not having any reviews yet, but decided to take a leap of faith. I booked a ticket with United airlines to get a dog from Minnesota to Seattle, he’s a huge guy 44 pounds six months old Golden doodle! The Kennel was XL, they said “sorry” it’s not gonna work, he’s so big for that kennel!! And it was the maximum size that the airlines accepted. I started looking for a driver to get Kito here and I found “Pitts AniMobile Transport” Ginger is an amazing person, she took care of Kito for almost 3 days driving (1,700 miles). With 2 stops at hotels. She lets Kito sleep in the room, and she kept updating me with pictures and stops. And by the way, he had a motion sickness, he threw up many times, she took care of him, and stopped so many times. I’m so blessed for finding such a great driver. Thank you is not enough to say! Hire this guy!!! Bryn Gerlach is a great Citizen Shipper! We told him what we needed shipped (1 pit bull, 1 cat, and 1 electric wheel chair). He said he could ship it. On the day we needed the pets shipped he showed up on time. He met the pets. He got them secured in his van so they were comfortable and he could keep an eye on them. Then he left. He kept us updated on his way from Florida to Ohio. He made the trip in less than 24 hours. When he got to the final destination he made sure the pets were safely delivered and then called me. He wanted me to speak to the person who received the pets. He did every thing he said he was going to do. I would absolutely hire him again to do pet transport.

Do not use this service. They we suppose to arrive at the pick up location at 9:00 am in Washington. I had not received any notification from them that day, so at 8:30 I thought it best to reach out to them to see if they were still coming....It turns out that there was some family drama that occurred between the husband and wife and that the car was repossessed in Mississippi. No one was going to tell us that they were not going to pick up at the scheduled time. I had to take off work to meet them, and there was a total disregard for the customer. Save yourself the hassle of having to try to get your money back.
