Do not hire marana cottier dba peacelovepaws. She is a thief that has stolen $435.00 dollars from me and never completed the job. She called me the day of to extort another 25% from me because my male dog was unaltered and made up a lie that the boarding facility said he wasn’t good on a leash. She is a con-artist. When i confronted her that she never asked me if my dog was unaltered during my initial booking with her she began to dodge accountability, became unprofessional and belligerent. I had to cancel the pick up because there was now a trust issue as she started telling me what a huge liability he was. She agreed to cancel and credit me which she never did to this day. Be aware of the contract she sends you that she never bothers to sign. I’m writing this review because the overwhelming amount of positive reviews here made me hire her at a time of need however i’m now questioning the validity of these reviews. From my 1st conversation with her i noticed signs that she could be a potential problem but against my better judgement i hired her. This is how she operates, she is fast at selling how great she is, controls the conversation so you don’t have a chance to really and ask her detailed questions and when you try she’s very condescending. She bad talks everyone else in the industry and sends you a bogus contract that she doesn’t even sign. Also don’t fall for her trick of lowering her offer amount for you to pay the site less fees as this practice takes the site out of the loop creating a contract just between you & her leaving you without recourse when she doesn’t deliver. I néver used the site abd simply asked her what the fee would be and instead of answering me her solution was to deceive the system by pretending to lower her fee in order for the site to charge you less something i never requested. If you decide to still hire, please keep in mind that this person increases your risk of liability with her business model that includes taking her sweet time to get your dog from point a to b, exposing your pet to her owm dog, sleeping at motels and doing her activities with your pet for a few days. There was no way i was going to allow this person to expose my pet to these situations as she’s clearly someone that is just waiting for a liability opportunity to sue you if something happens to go wrong. Unfortunately to post this review i had to give her one star. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

There was quite a few issues with the shipment. The shipper contacted us the day before our shipment date that he was in an accident and sent pictures of a totalled car, and tried to switch the day of pickup, but when we said we would need to cancel the delivery to find a driver who could deliver, he said hed go through with it. He stated 3 different times that he would arrive at a specific time at the breeders due to traffic, but pushed the time later and later, frustrating our breeder. There was confusion on the phone, and after picking up he didn't send pic to id the dog before departing as stated, nor did we get the shot records for the dog which was important for our vet. We had to contact the shipper for updates mostly, and found out his delivery date that was promised was pushed back because he ended up having to drop off another dog (was supposed to be a single dog shipment). I have to say the only good thing we experience was that he was cordial, but all in all, it didnt make up for the experience. Right before delivery, late Saturday night, he let us know he needed cash for delivery (we have a cap for withdrawls on our atm) thankfully our bank branch was open later. Our dog ended up having balance issues for the first 3 or 4 days because he wasnt let out often enough on the trip, and kept falling while walking so we had to carry him outside to use the bathroom and monitor him to prevent him from hurting himself. Ill be very wary of using shippers in the future, especially with something like a puppy.

I'm very sorry I can't leave a positive review, but this is the worst experience we have ever had shipping LTL freight. We listed that this shipment for a customer of ours needed to be delivered by 3/22/19 and the shipper promised he'd deliver within that timeframe. Long story short, there were constant excuses and delays, and at over two weeks past the due date, our customer gave us an ultimatum date of 4/8 or he'd cancel the order. Which was understandable! He'd been very patient waiting for this item which was now over two weeks late! The shipper (Steve) then asked us to lie to our customer, saying he'd already picked it up when he hadn't -- to hold out for more time. That was the final straw, and we had to load up the item ourselves and drive it 1300 miles, taking most of a week away from our business to repair the relationship with our customer, with thousands of dollars in lost time and extra expense to haul this halfway across the country ourselves. I could not be more disappointed. I think Steve had a driver or something quit on him, but he was not thinking of how much of a bind he was putting us in by putting off our shipment constantly rather than just telling us straight that he could not deliver within the stated timeframe and we'd have to find another shipper. THAT would have been the honest thing to do. Instead, it was constant excuses of a hurt ankle, can't find trailer, driver quit, bad back, etc., just to keep us holding on a few more days. This cost us a lot of money and even more time. I do appreciate Citizenshipper coming through so we at least did not lose the booking fee.

The breeder also had “pet nannies” that kept changing their date to deliver her. Needless to say, we were very scared we weren’t going to get our baby. That’s when Jeff stepped in.
