I booked a transport with Shawn a couple weeks out from the transport date. Initially, everything went well - we chatted via text and outlined the details of what I needed and when. I paid a 50% deposit and then communication stopped. I texted, emailed, and called up to the day prior to my transport to obtain more firm info on times with no reply. I engaged customer care and they were unable to reach him either. Shawn finally send me a text at 5:30 pm on the day he was supposed to pick up my pup stating medical issues and that he would refund my deposit ASAP. Fortunately Michael with customer care helped me to place a new order which left me scrambling to find another transport in a very short period - which thankfully I was able to do. Now 3 days later and I havenāt received my refund and am again being ghosted on all forms of contact. I understand unexpected things can happen, but very disappointed in how Shawn has handled communication and refunding my deposit, all which was surprising given all of his great reviews. I am also a military veteran and his mention of that along with his reviews steered my to Shawn. I hope he is better, and honors returning my deposit and hopefully no one else encounters these issues.
