I donât usually leave negative reviews, but I feel other pet owners should know about our experience. At first, communication was fine, but things changed once the pickup was delayed. The driver had car problems and was unable to pick up our puppy on the scheduled day. While I understand that unexpected situations happen, the delay significantly disrupted our plans, as the delivery was originally supposed to take place over the weekend. During that time, communication became increasingly rude whenever we asked reasonable questions. We were understandably worried about our puppy, but instead of reassurance, we were met with dismissive and unfriendly responses. During the trip, he sent a few photos of our puppy, which we appreciated. However, the most concerning part of our experience was our puppyâs condition after delivery. The moment we got him into our car, he drank water frantically. When we arrived home, he continued drinking excessive amounts of water and spent the next two days lying next to his water bowl, as if he was afraid the water would disappear. I have never seen a dog behave this way. Obviously, I cannot know exactly what happened during the trip, but based on his condition, I was left with the strong impression that he had not been given enough water during transport. My personal suspicion is that water may have been limited to reduce bathroom breaks for the animals in the vehicle. I sincerely hope that wasnât the case, but after seeing how desperately my puppy behaved around water, I couldnât think of another explanation. The handoff was the final straw. I reached out to take my puppy, and the driver physically held onto him and refused to let me have my own dog until the remaining payment was received. My husband was literally standing next to us, already making the transfer, but the driver still said that I would only get my puppy after the payment went through. I was shocked. It felt incredibly uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. There are professional ways to handle payment, and holding someoneâs pet until the money arrives is not one of them. Overall, I found the driver rude, unprofessional, and lacking the level of care and compassion I expect from someone transporting live animals. Based on our experience, I would never use this service again and cannot recommend it to anyone who truly cares about their pets.

He had enough positive reviews to make me feel confident choosing him, but what really stood out was how personable, professional, and easy he was to communicate with. He was able to pick up our puppy a day earlier than expected, which was a huge bonus. Throughout the entire trip, I never had to ask for updates or picturesâRicardo kept me informed every step of the way on his own. He also asked thoughtful questions I hadnât even considered, which showed how attentive and experienced he is. Our Doberman puppy, Cyna, is under 14 weeks old, so minimizing her exposure to diseases like parvo was extremely important to us. Ricardo took extra precautions to ensure she wasnât accidentally exposed to high-risk areas, giving us tremendous peace of mind during her journey. Cyna arrived happy, healthy, and well cared for. I would recommend Ricardo without hesitation, and I would absolutely use him again in a heartbeat. Waggin Wheels took on the very formidable challenge of transporting my three older cats from AZ to NY. They were very communicative, offered a very fair rate, and were flexible on things like getting better accommodations and extremely attentive to one of my cat's medicine requirements. During the trip, they reported that one of the cats wasn't eating or drinking, and were open to my suggestions for how to get them on track (dropper feeding, etc.), as well as prepared for an emergency vet visit (which wasn't needed). If they were unavailable or out of cell range, they always returned my call or text promptly, within 10 minutes. I received map locations, pictures, and videos. TBH I hope I NEVER have to move my cats again - they are a crotchety handful - but if I did, I'd rehire Waggin Wheels without hesitation.
