I can not thank Gary enough. He made a very stressful move a lot easier. I found out I couldn't take my Boston Terrier on the plane. The airlines don't fly dogs in cargo when the temperatures are over 85. Gary spoke with me on the phone several times before he even came out to pick her up. I know I was the first transport for a pet that Jennifer has done and I really felt it was important to give her a chance. I'm so glad I did! She is outstanding! She quoted me a very fair price and kept in contact with me through the entire trip sending videos and pictures. Prior to that, she was a very responsive to my communications. It was the first time I had shipped a pet and I was a little nervous to say the least especially since this was a puppy. Plus, I had a ton of questions. She picked the puppy up from the breeder and had to deal with motion sickness and lots of potty breaks. She was so good with the puppy that I would not hesitate to use her again! We chose Nick because of the good reviews and the way everyone said he communicated. We unfortunately did not have that experience. He gave us a pick up window of Saturday or Sunday, big window. We communicated with him that my daughter had to work and if he needed to he could contact me, which he chose not to do. I was told not to give any money up front by a couple other drivers who couldn’t fulfill the request in the time frame we needed now I wish we would have waited a couple extra days and went with someone else. Nick took half our money and left us hanging and then ghosted us the night he was supposed to pick up our dog. Had he answered us we could have worked something out and taken the dog to him. By the way pick up was going to be in the middle of the night, which is weird. I asked if he would be refunded any of the “deposit “ and he said since it was only a deposit he can’t refund any, but had we paid in full upfront he might be able to give us some money back in good faith. Not sure he knows what that means because we gave him money up front in good faith and got scammed. I truly feel we did get scammed. Unfortunately we put our trust in a total stranger hoping we would get the same respect that we would give someone if the role was reversed. Lesson learned, an expensive one but definitely learned. This is a warning for anyone looking to hire Nick read all the reviews all of them, the good and bad. And do not give money upfront especially to Nick. I would have like to wright a positive review but that’s never going to happen with Nick. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Driver's Rebuttal: "This review makes it sound like I just didn't even show up, but I was there, and waited over an hour. The daughter is the one who ghosted me. The mother booked a trip for her daughter's dog, but the daughter apparently did not want the dog to leave. On my approach, I gave the daughter choices on when she would like to meet. The daughter chose the time. It cost me several hours in my time and dollars in gasoline to get to the pickup location requested by the daughter. That is what the deposit is for. I did my part---I showed up where the daughter requested, ready to pick up the dog, and not only did I show up, but I waited for OVER AN HOUR. No response from the daughter after I arrived. After a few minutes, I contact her twice more. She replies "One second, I'm still coming home from work." I assume this means she is going to respond or arrive with the dog shortly. Over half an hour later, and nothing from the daughter, I ask, "Hello?" Finally, over an hour after I arrived, she says that she only at that moment had just gotten off of work, (even though she told me she was already on her way home in a previous text) and that she lives almost two hours from where she works. If someone is actually planning to meet someone, don't you think this helpful information would have come up already? If not days before, then at least when I updated the daughter that I was a few hours away, one hour away, twenty minutes away? She said nothing about still being unable to meet. She did not once say, "Oh, I'm still at work, and it will take me two hours to get home I once I'm off, so let's keep that in mind when we plan to meet" in the lead up to my arrival. She made it seem like she would be ready to meet me when I arrived. I did not appreciate the daughter's passive-aggressive tactics, stringing me along and I realized she did not want the dog to leave. Even the mom didn't show up "in ten minutes" like she said she would. All the daughter had to do was tell me what the situation was and we could have figured out a solution. So whatever was going on between them now involves me, and the mom is lashing out at me. Please feel free to ask any questions about this."

Sam was very flexible in negotiating a price and pickup date. He kept in touch between accepting his bid and pickup. For the transport, Sam was responsible for the care of my Saint Bernard and Bernese Mountain Dog from Northwest Indiana to North Central Texas. My Bernese is very high energy and has separation anxiety. Sam was very good at managing the dog's stress and took things in stride when my Bernese posed challenges (i.e.: trying to climb over Sam into the driver's seat). My dogs took to him immediately and jumped right into the van. Sam touched based periodically to keep me updated on route status and location. He arrived at my new home hours before me took some time to walk the dogs in their new backyard and rest. They were very happy to see me upon arrival but not overly anxious, a good sign that they were comfortable and not fearful or anxious about being separated from me during the transport. Sam even took my son's hermit crab for him, which was a huge relief since my son was very distraught at the thought of surrendering his crab for the move. If I relocate again I will certainly get in touch with Sam first to see if he is interested in assisting with the transport. I definitely trust him with my dogs. It was a huge relief to feel good about the person I left them with for the move, and I highly recommend Sam for anyone looking into a long distance transport for their pets.

I posted an ad that requested transfer of my brother’s dog from Colorado back to Illinois. The ad stated I was looking for pickup on 7/13 and delivery on 7/14. After accepting a bid, the driver told me they hadn’t seen the dates and couldn’t pick up until 7/15, 7/16 at the latest. They said they could pick the dog up on their way to California instead of on the way back as was originally planned. I said I wasn’t comfortable with that and it was okay if they couldn’t get here until 7/15 or 7/16. 7/14: I requested an update and they said that due to the heat, it was taking a lot longer than expected. I completely understood this as the first priority is the dogs’ health. 7/15: I requested an update. I received a text that night that said they’d just gotten to California and would be to us on Wednesday. At this point I told them we had a hard deadline to get the dog to IL by Friday due to my brother’s schedule. 7/16: I checked in again and they still said they’d be to us on Wednesday. 7/17: I requested yet another update. They said that again, because of the heat, they couldn’t get to us until Thursday at 11pm and had already been driving for 20 hours. I said I didn’t understand how it was taking that long from California. I was then informed that they had a last minute booking in Oregon and were driving from there. At this point, I had to cancel the booking because there was no way we could get the dog to IL on time. We are now having to drive to meet my brother halfway to transfer her. This entire thing has been a nightmare. I had to reach out for all communication from this person and was continually guilt-tripped about the safety of the dogs, when it turned out that really they had accepted an additional offer two states out of the way and didn’t tell me. I would never ask someone to put dogs’ health at risk to serve my needs. I would, however, request that they are truthful with me and are proactive in their communication

Y’all all I have to say is Dena is a sweetheart and took very good care of my 12 week yorkie Daisy. My family and I chose to breed because of the love of the breed and love each and every puppy that we raise for the first 8 weeks. Every puppy buyer in the past has always driven the 300-1000 miles to pick up their puppy. This is the first time I had to arrange transportation. I was careful in my research when I needed two from this litter to be transported from Georgia to Pennsylvania. Todd’s reviews were stellar and he did not disappoint in the slightest! He provided his own crate with an over the top comfy mat! He provided collar and leash to walk the puppies every few hours. Todd even gave over a dozen pics over the journey in our group text! I was unsure at first about using a ground courier to deliver my puppy. But my puppy was considered a snub nosed breed and couldn’t be shipped by air like my dog 13 years ago. After my first conversation with Crystal I knew it was her I wanted to deliver my pup. She was honest and very clear as to what I could expect. She picked up from my breeder and delivered to my door.
