I am a retired Special Education teacher who loves animals and road trips. My experience, consists of taking yearly solo drives to Oregon during my summer breaks, and traveling with my own pets. My housemate and I have owned a number of cats and dogs through the years, many with special needs. We have raised cats, dogs, birds, fish, lizards, and a bunny. Our pets are healthy and spoiled, living long life spans. Some of our special needs pets have lived much longer than expected! I also had pets in my classrooms at school. With the help of my students, we cared for many animals including fish, hamsters, finches, a snake, baby chicks, various insects and a big fat toad named Hopper! I take frequent breaks when traveling with pets, for bathroom needs, exercise, water, and treats. I am also experienced in researching pet friendly hotels and staying with pets in hotels. I am experienced at giving medicine, pills, insulin shots, applying creams and ointments, and handling seizures, as well as any grooming needed along the way. I am working on getting licensed, and certified in pet First Aid and CPR. I can supply your preference of food, water, kitty litter, toys, and treats. Any personal items you send to make your pet feel comfortable will arrive safely with your pet. Not having children, my pets are my kids! They are the most important part of my life. When I care for other people’s pets I treat them as I would my own. I am looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

We typically transport rescue animals all over the country. We have helped military families relocate with their pets as well as owned pets. Currently, my routes mostly take me from San Antonio, Tx to Washington and Oregon state. We pass through CO, WY, UT, and ID on the way up.
